Most people draw 6 starting from the top and then going all the way down and making a counterclockwise circle. But, if you draw a 6 by starting at the middle and making a clockwise circle and then going up, the direction would match the direction your foot is making and thus you would be able to draw that 6 and move your leg clockwise at the same time.
