Part of their research they took a group of about 10 guys in varying levels of attractiveness and just showed headshot images (no other information) to women and asked them to rank them on a scale of 1-10. They then took that same group of guys and added information on what they made in a year and their job position. The guy that was originally ranked the most attractive by women was unemployed and had no steady income, the guy that was ranked towards the bottom was a multi-millionaire. When they then showed that information the multi-millionaire was then ranked at the top and the unemployed guy with no income was ranked at the bottom.
