Submitter's pic made me do it. - CoD4, on 03/03/2009, -0/+6They should also teach biology with tentacles
- NathanielJ, on 03/03/2009, -0/+5They teach basic logic skills, which is exactly what kids in grade 5 or so need to be learning. These puzzles aren't going to teach you how to calculate arclength of curves obviously, but they build the same logical reasoning skills.
- DingDingDao, on 03/03/2009, -0/+5Picture logic = zero work productivity. Thank you internet.
- HenryGifford, on 03/03/2009, -1/+5I'm personally partial to Kakuro.
- zarmelie, on 03/03/2009, -2/+5Oh, I love sudoku, and i even taught it to my 8-year-old daughter. She now loves doing sudoku puzzles too.
- MrInfallible, on 03/03/2009, -1/+4Wow this article is very interesting. Not.
- donquixotex, on 03/03/2009, -2/+5anybody else do "paint by numbers" as part of their "gifted" class in elementary...? man, i loved those days of screwing around with logic puzzles for hours on end.
- Ramble, on 03/04/2009, -1/+4There's nothing wrong with my grammar.
- SilverBlade2k, on 03/03/2009, -2/+4Math is frightening enough, do they have to add Japanese to it as well?
- CoD4, on 03/03/2009, -0/+2you're doing it wrong, buy her killzone 2 instead
- antdude, on 03/04/2009, -0/+2When I was in sixth grade, my geeky teacher made us learn Apple LOGO. I loved it! Hence, I did well in drafting. :)
- themastersb, on 03/03/2009, -2/+3In b4 pedobear
- prodigitalson, on 03/03/2009, -0/+1And rape. You cant have a proper tentacle based curriculum without rape.
- lekahe, on 03/04/2009, -0/+1Everything that teaches logic is very advantageous to learning math. The right way to learn is to understand, not just learning to imitate the algorithms.
You can solve Sudoku's by trial and error but that is not really the way they should be solved! - Rouquine, on 03/04/2009, -0/+1I've been addicted to those puzzles since I was a kid. They're much more popular in Finland than in the US, though Picross for Game Boy (and later DS) did make it viral for a bunch of kids here in the states. They're incredibly addictive!
- purple, on 03/03/2009, -2/+3Sudoku has nothing to do with math.
- lekahe, on 03/04/2009, -1/+2Maths is British, Math American, the grammar is totally right!
- zoom1928, on 03/03/2009, -2/+2Apparently you also hate grammar too.

- nirvana82, on 03/09/2009, -0/+0I am bad in Math :(
- Ramble, on 03/03/2009, -2/+2I study maths rather a lot and hate these logic puzzles - they don't teach you anything about maths.
- njwadigg, on 05/13/2009, -0/+0My mum at 60 years old love sudoko too. I like it too.
Hopefully my children will like it too.
