- Jumboto, on 10/10/2007, -6/+79So sloooooooooowww... And looooooowwww volume.
Is this explanation for 5 year olds?
Convincing theory bad video. - mrgreenjeans, on 10/10/2007, -5/+56Uhhh...I watched the "trick" and it looked like magic to me. When are you troofers going to accept what's actually true and stop coming up with these grandiose schemes?
/sarcasm - imightbewrong, on 10/10/2007, -5/+44worst audio ever

I threw up a little because of this guys voice. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+23You're right. This must have been magic then...
- ih8ualot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21AND WITH THAT, HE PUSHED THE GLAAAS. THE GLAAAS. GLAAAS GLAAAS GLAAAS.
- reposado, on 10/10/2007, -2/+20Magic with fake audience just for the video camera is lame. Might as well just CG the whole thing.
- briandeloach, on 10/10/2007, -2/+19Why does it take 8 minutes to explain this trick? His "explanation" of the trick seems like a magic in itself. The childish illustrations and his incredibly annoying voice doesn't help either.
- justinjstark, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20They explained in 8.5 minutes what should have been explained in 2. I could not sit through the whole thing.
- jounin9988, on 10/10/2007, -1/+17the thing i really hate about this guy is not so much his voice but his tone. he sounds like hes revealing some sort of grand scam, like we were all fooled into thinking cyril was a sorcerer of sorts. Magic is an art and its fun, and revealing the trick isnt necessarily a bad thing. You just need to approach it having in mind that they created these tricks not to scam you, but to entertain you.
- Feep, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12My friends and I, after several replays and much discussion, came up with the same explanation a few months ago, with one slight difference. I can't believe that a solid HOLE in the glass wouldn't gush water all over the damn place as he moved his arm in and about, so we thought it would be some kind of sphincter-like opening, one that would be still enough to stop the water but easy enough for Cyril to push through. It would allow less water out, and not require him to move anything out of the way prior to entry.
Anyway, it was still one hell of an illusion. - chewbaccapits, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12The alliance won't be happy.
- adamruth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10You just described most of Chriss Angel's illusions.
- homesickalien, on 10/15/2007, -3/+13It was real magic. I know because I was there. I'm the yellow fish in the tank. Cyril almost touched my dorsal fin when he reached in.
- spootmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9we demand to be taken seriously!
- rasbill, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8i hate tricks that rely on tv to hide there trickery, if you can do it right in front of someone live, then im impressed, no matter how many hidden doors, palmed cards, mirrors whatever, if im standing seeing it live im impressed, doing it on tv is worthless, because anyone could do it, since its all tv trickery *****
- JD52, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11Wow.... I'm grateful this explanation was given. Until I saw it I was under the impression that this really was magic.
- adamruth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6He sounds like many of the Japanese people I've known who learned English really well from British instructors.
- jubilee123, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5sounds like the narrator of Winnie the Pooh on estrogen
- rushiku, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Oh dear, you're right! It must have been MAGIC
- adamruth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4And he's not a stranger. Just because Blaine says he's a stranger, doesn't make it so.
- Broman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I don't know which was worse... his voice, or the awesome graphics used to explain everything?
- adamruth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4It's actually very common to have a whole crowd in on it. When you watch Chriss Angel, almost everyone around him is a confederate.
- fusenmuse, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"It's Yuko's card. The exact same card. It says Yuko on it. That's because it isn't a copy. *awkward pause/ stutter thing* It's the exact same card."
- rompom7, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I find it funny that people call real magic, the magic that cannot be real... But they call fake magic, the magic you can actually do.
- wierdaaron, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Say goodbye to your legs...
- Feep, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Because he's BEEN to the store, moron. It uses the same glass mechanism as shown here.
- Aeric, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3They repeat to much ***** over and over and v e r y s l o w l y. I actually feel dumber now.
- Cloned, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2This trick didn't need the camera trick to conceal anything. He just needed to get the audience to look at something other than the tank when the card was placed inside the tank. When it was moved up it could have been moved up so fast that people don't realize it, cause they're all looking at his hand. You don't need payed actors for this, my friend did a similar trick with a real audience.
- davidwasman, on 10/10/2007, -5/+7Holy fake British accent, Batman!
Honestly, was that really necessary? - Tarkaan, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Hahhahaa I like the part where he belches about 3/4ths of the way through.. "The other piece of glass...*BELCH*"
- Ramble, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4I'm British and have met people who do sound like that.
It's pretty rare for something to sound so stupid though, so it probably is fake.
EDIT: Just listened again, no doubt he's legit. There are certain ways he says things that are just British. - jordan7485, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yeah, but where'd the lighter fluid come from?
- parax, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Even with Criss Angel, I don't think the entire crowd is in on the tricks. Of course magicians use a few plants, but it's not financially rewarding to pay an entire crowd.
In the case of this magician, why pay an entire crowd if all you need is 1 person to place the card and control the prop? And like the grandfather post said, if even one of them breaks their contract and reveals the trick, the jig is up. It's better to have 1 or 2 trusted plants than an entire crowd of strangers. - VVCephei, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Didn't you know?
Some Magician put his hand through some glass and unicorns started flooding out... Everybody in the room was Greatly amused.
Because Peanuts are tasty - Sil369, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3cg'ed?
- voetsjoeba, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2No, it's 700. They extend out to the right of the comment box.
- donsherio, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Convincing EXCEPT for the very last part where you claim he "pushed the glass down"... however he already ripped the napkin apart and didn't make any movement to conceal the glass as the whole panel "slid back down". I think that bit of footage totally blows your theory "out of the water".
- djdigital, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3What...........I think I just slipped into a coma for a minute.
What happened? - BenPresland, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Lame
- coolcash2005, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I know! He seriously needed to swallow, I could hear the saliva in his mouth swishing every time he talked!
- adamruth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2How do you know it was just a piece of paper? It could have been like that paper bib you get at the dentist's, it's got a layer of plastic in it. Never assume anything is as it seems in a magic trick.
- mu0p, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wait, huh?
Did happy gilmore just win the waterbury open?
http://www.spikedhumor.com/articles/41037/Happy_Gi ... - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Oh, ho, ho it's magic, you know... Never believe it's not so!
- iamafatguy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This magic trick was better. http://my.break.com/media/view.aspx?ContentID=1930 ...
- fwc67, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1talk about over explanation
- MRCAB, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1the narrator is annoying, and why dose he keep acting like he is debunking some big secret?.. it's a ***** illusion!... it's not real magic!
