http://keepass.info/ - SoyJames, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2Thanks for giving away my password secret. Now if somebody cracks one password, they have them all! j/k
What I really need is a way to remember what USERNAME I registered on a site with... - stbon, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2have those generators disappeared ? Try this one - http://www.goodpassword.com/
dugg! - wfbnadador, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1twister, you never told me you got nikki to join digg....
- wfbnadador, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1oh comeon lucid just throw in some 1337
- dipout, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1yeah... i did that with mine... the phrase is Flagrant Understatements Can Kill... i ended up with all sorts of extensions like ***** (for unibrow login) ***** (for collegepork.com login) and ***** (for meebo login)... i think i need a new phrase
- nikkimarie47, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1I believe this is simply trying to illustrate the basic concept, not serve as an all inclusive example. You certainly could add numbers, uppercase, and a few random non-alpha numeric characters no problem.
- charliecross, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1looks good to me. Numbers can easily be added.
- Twister47, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1This is true for your side of the security bargain, but what happens if one of those services/sites is compromised or leaked?
- OBDriftwood, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1Better than adding numbers is to include the punctuation and the capitalization. But this is a useful technique I've used for a long time.
- TobyDumb, on 03/24/2008, -0/+1Or you could stick to one password and try to not be an idiot by doing anything that would jeopardize the safety of it...
- GalacticRerun, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1So what if you have more sites that start with the same letter that might be only 1 word long. How do you remember which letters you used for each site?
- todiggit, on 12/13/2008, -0/+0http://lastpass.com
LastPass solves this better for me -- it's an intersting idea though... - schlank, on 03/21/2008, -1/+1Dugg!
- lucidguru, on 03/21/2008, -1/+1No numbers in your passwords?

But in the meantime, this is a great way to stay more secure than the average user.
