For the TL TV (too long too view) people, here's the list. Excellent presentation by the professor and a valuable resource of information. I'd recommend to watch both videos. Towards the end, the cop's real skin showed when he remarked to the professor, "To take away the support, I don't try to take innocent people to jail." What the ***** is that? It's obvious he enjoys what he does when he ruins people's lives.
1. There is no way it can help.
2. If your client is guilty and even if he/she is innocent
, they may admit their guilt with no benefit in return.
3. Even if your client is innocent and denies his/her guilt
and mostly tells the truth, they can easily get carried
away and tell some little lie or make some little
mistake that will hang your client.
4.Even if your client is innocent and only tells
the truth, he/she will always give the police some
information that can be used to help convict him/her.
5. Even if your client is innocent and only tells the
truth and does not tell the police anything incriminating,
there is still a grave chance that his/her answers can be used
to crucify your client if the police don't recall your clients
testimony with 100% accuracy.
6. Even if your client is innocent and only tells the truth
and does not tell the police anything incriminating and his/her
statement is videotaped, your client's answers can be used to
crucify him/her if the police don't recall the questions with
with 100% accuracy.
7. Even if your client is innocent and only tells the truth
and does not tell the police anything incriminating and
the entire interview is videotaped, his/her answers
can still be used to crucify your client if
the police have any evidence even mistake or unreliable
evidence that any of your client's
statements are false.
8. Just ask them for examples (celebrities like Marion Jones,
Martha Stewart, Michael Vick criminal convictions)
Don't talk to cops.

- grapheads, on 09/11/2008, -0/+1A video everyone should watch. We get propagandized by cop shows that show everyone talking to police to "help out".
- had3l, on 07/29/2008, -1/+1hmmmm... Regent University School of Law eh? Would never have guessed the worse law school in the country had good teachers.
