- diggbugga, on 09/03/2008, -0/+0P. Buckley Moss spends much of her time working with young people who have dyslexia, a learning disability. She encourages them and others that they can overcome their disabilities if they work hard at it everday. Both personally and through the P. Buckley Moss Society, a philanthropic society in Waynesboro, Virginia, she has given disability scholarships grants; and colleges and universities throughout the country, contributions to help young people go to college. She was responsible in setting up a scholarship fund at James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia. The P Buckley Moss Society was set up by her Moss collectors in 1987 to create a sense of awareness in learning disabilities in children.
