- RuyGuy, on 01/29/2008, -24/+154This has nothing to do with the first two of similar fashion.
Nothing with anon is "official" btw.
Buried for lack of creativity. Get your own ideas. - inactive, on 01/29/2008, -14/+140Sooooo, Stephen Hawkins is Anonymous?
- Archcoder, on 01/29/2008, -7/+113There is no official voice of Anonymous. There are no leaders. There are no PR centers. Anonymous is a decentralized collective.
- hillkiwi, on 01/29/2008, -16/+114Anonymous is a great idea, but what if Scientology puts out videos that mimic these in an attempt to discredit them? How will we know which ones are real?
- andrewcsayer, on 01/29/2008, -11/+75The bury brigade seems to be having field day with this post....
- mikexr, on 01/29/2008, -23/+78Here's my question: Where does the insanity stop? How far up the food chain do you have to go before someone finally lets you know that it's all a ***** up pyramid scheme? Who's beyond that? Are the people benefiting from this brilliant masterminds or masterminds that buy their own *****?
- kss42, on 01/29/2008, -4/+59Be wary, be wary, the tenth of Feb'rary,
Anonymous follows its goals.
We cannot seek fame,
For we all share one name,
Why do it, then? For epic lulz. - hextic, on 01/29/2008, -0/+48Anonymous knows Anonymous's intentions, and any Anonymouses out there will know what they believe.
- doctorfungi, on 01/29/2008, -9/+52It's replacing the Ron Paul spam. I love it.
- Archcoder, on 01/29/2008, -2/+31Scientology is a business using a cult as a front.
- vervalsing, on 01/29/2008, -1/+29Anonymous keeps switching accounts, many of the videos aren't posted on just one, I guess to avoid the CoS YouTube mafia. I'm guessing it won't be too hard to tell if it's fake...If "Anon" starts making videos about throwing dead puppies at Scientologists or stapling anti-CoS fliers to endangered species, it's a safe bet that it's not real. This seems pretty consistent with what's been going down at partyvan so far...Even if it wasn't made by the so-called "inner core" of Anonymous, it was still made by someone who aligns themselves with Anon.
- IShouldBeWorkin, on 01/29/2008, -21/+48It feels like more of the same in comparison to the previous vids. That being said i digg this in support of what Anonymous stands for

- Archcoder, on 01/29/2008, -2/+27That is not how it works.

SCIENTOLOGY IS FAKE!
get that through your head! - inactive, on 01/29/2008, -8/+30...THERE IS NO "OFFICIAL" ANONYMOUS. Don't ya get it? WE ARE ALL ANONYMOUS!
- Berkana, on 01/29/2008, -5/+26WE ARE AMNESIACS
WE ARE LEGION
WE ARE AMNESIACS
WE DO NOT REMEMBER
WE DO NOT EXPECT MUCH
WE ARE. . . . what the ***** are we doing again? - Berkana, on 01/29/2008, -2/+23Seriously, with a name like "scientology" for a religion, how anyone could take them seriously is beyond me.
- inactive, on 01/29/2008, -0/+20I think what he is trying to get at, is it is not the beliefs we should be attacking, more the ways they promote there beliefs, and what they do to the followers.
- Hellbacon, on 01/29/2008, -1/+20Look at what they're saying.
- loach678, on 01/29/2008, -11/+29Screw Scientology.... They deserve what they get for ruining people's lives. The only way to get to them is to remain anonymous, can't you see. If they knew who you were, they might kill you. They claim the right to destroy anyone who stands in their way AKA CLEAR THE PLANET!
- Ghoztt, on 01/29/2008, -6/+23GREAT justice!!
- proxyproxy, on 01/29/2008, -14/+31This video is epic. Just because it wasn't uploaded by the same guy on youtube doesn't make it any less true.
- vervalsing, on 01/29/2008, -8/+24Enough with the burying for ***** sake. If you don't like Anonymous, don't click on the link.
- insertcleverid, on 01/29/2008, -1/+17Despite the 'possibly fake' nature of all religions, Scientology is particularly bad, because they are, unlike most christian faiths, cult-like. They have the following cult features, my top 5: 1. They are authoritarian. All other features reflect this. 2. Pyramidal structure - the leadership reserves 'truth' from the low level members, in fact, use outright lies in recruiting process (the whole 'alien thing' only comes up after all the personality tests are done.) 3. Uses thought reform. (watch the south park episode and tell me that's not thought reform, they have an alternate frickin COSMOLOGY for god's sake.) 4. Isolation of members, geographically, socially and otherwise (they have literally allowed subjects to die, rather than release them back into society via Emergency Rooms.) 5. Charismatic or messianic leader who is self-appointed and has a special mission in life, like L-RON.
Thanks to Carol Giambalvo's website for suppling the original list of 13 cult characteristics. - bgolds99, on 01/29/2008, -10/+26real ones are posted by youtube user Church0fScientology
- raid517, on 01/29/2008, -5/+20The whole ***** Internet should declare war on Scientology! Crank calls, fake emails, wasting their time and resources by fake enquiries, or any other means - do anything that it takes to wipe this scourge from the planet.
They tried to silence us. Now they are the ones who will be silenced. - PathDaemon, on 01/29/2008, -3/+18As hard as it is to believe, anonymous has no leaders. Sites like 711chan and partyvan acted as bases out of support for the cause, but while some people may have had more involvement up to now, they could leave the "group" and not be missed.
Unfortunately, a consequence of this is that the videos "released by anonymous" will continue to get ***** due to ***** creators.
But this concept comes from the *chans: you're permitted to post without logging in and without filling in any of the fields that you usually see above comment forms. When you do, you post as Anonymous. Therefore, on the *chans, anonymous is nonexistent. It is the internet. It is the unnamed. It is sometimes sarcastic and it sometimes picks up memes, BUT IT CAN TAKE UP CAUSES. And anonymous has declared war on Scientology.
A question to Digg: 711chan is gone. Partyvan is gone. #xenu is gone (banned me with "anonymous will find a new home"). Where is anonymous to turn? Where is this new home? Is there a new Wiki, a new IRC channel? - Wandel, on 01/29/2008, -6/+20I think someone doesn't know what makes a haiku...
- digichris, on 01/29/2008, -1/+15Honk if you hate scientology.
heh - alkajazz, on 01/29/2008, -11/+24Its a Pyramid scheme. They take advantage of people. How is that right?
- detonate, on 01/29/2008, -1/+14The Youtube viewcount doesn't update in real-time.
- svander, on 01/29/2008, -2/+15Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat!
- Tony the tiger - defectDS, on 01/29/2008, -4/+17The guy should upgrade to Leopard so he can use the new Alex voice. Then he'd be rollin'with da ladies.
...and his wife. :D - digitalarcanum, on 01/29/2008, -3/+16quit your blubbering you giant vagina. people are dying because of this cult. free speech is being suppressed. they're infiltrating government faster and more violently than almost any other religion on the face of the earth. Not just in the United States, but all over the world and all you can say is shut up?
***** you. - MacSuxWindozSux, on 01/29/2008, -4/+17Scientology the name steals credibility from science, they aren't even related.
Their symbol, a cross with a flash behind it, steals credibility from the Cristian faiths.
Fake. - GregorCZ, on 01/29/2008, -0/+12No, it's not.
- lostdiggacct, on 01/29/2008, -7/+19All of this totally flew over your head, didn't it?
- Tikisam, on 01/29/2008, -3/+14yes...we know... you don't have to keep telling us.
- marlinman, on 01/29/2008, -0/+10Stephen Hawking's achievements on the lady front would put most diggers to shame!
- jenel, on 01/29/2008, -0/+10Of course, Anon's Hq: ebaumsworld
- PATSCRU, on 01/29/2008, -2/+12ITT: Newfags.
- Ben1220, on 01/29/2008, -2/+12Yeah, lots of churches are guilty of promoting their beliefs this way, but scientolgy is much worse, they have even gotten into a row with google, they try to get rid of links with criticism in them. And the original founder also spoke about making a religion for profit.
- loquax, on 01/29/2008, -0/+10I am a Catholic; and as far as the "established" Christian denominations, we are perhaps the most organized and politically active. I've been very disappointed in resent years with how the Church has handled the priest sexual abuse cases, and I've made my views known. I've even gone so far as to stop giving them money beyond the parish level (I give to Kiva.org instead). I've expressed my displeasure to priests and bishops, written about it, and freely talked to others in my church about it. Never have I felt threatened. Never have I looked out the window and wondered if the black van outside was from the Vatican. I have never received numerous phone calls of a disturbing nature.
The Co$ uses tactics like this. They had an "Operation Freekout" where they attempted to get a journalist who was investigating them arrested or committed to an psychiatric hospital (go figure that one out as they hate psychiatry). They had several operations in the U.S. to infiltrate the IRS, the American Medical Association, and have done similar things in Canada and Europe.
Part of their doctrine is the idea of "Game." From what I can gather, the "Game" is a competition between all beings, and the Scientologists are all on the same team. Going after someone who opposes Scientology's power moves, or going after someone who exposes them marks you as "fair game." They claim that they have abolished this doctrine, but if you watch the Panorama BBC document, you can see it is still in place.
Like Anon has said, Scientology's beliefs are not what is at issue here. As a Christian, I can fully recognize how weird some of my beliefs are. I have friends who are Hindu, Buddhist, Jewish, atheists, and a bunch of other things. I respect their religious beliefs, and I have never tried to impose my faith on them. I put Co$ in the category of some of the Christian Identity churches who espouse white-supremacy. I don't care if someone who is CI believes that whites are superior to other humans, but I do care when churches associated with CI attack people of other races.
We have to oppose tyranny, slavery, and intimidation when we see it. I don't agree 100% with Anon's tactics, but I do agree with their basic message and the basic reason behind their attact. - randomerratum, on 06/10/2008, -5/+15So how does one actually confirm the authenticity of an anonymous author?
Not trying to sound facetious, seriously wondering. - Schneckehaus, on 01/29/2008, -0/+10Xenu is not god in scientology, he is the devil.
Get your ***** straight. - metapop, on 01/29/2008, -5/+15according to wikipedia, modern haiku is much more free-form and less constrained to syllabic limitations, and i chose to exercise my new found haiku freedoms. i never in my wildest dreams thought i would be debating contemporary haiku on digg, yet here we are.
- hatdrop, on 01/29/2008, -1/+10i don't see priests or muslims forcing people to pay large sums of money in order to learn their scriptures, nor do i see them doing extensive background searches to digg dirt up on their critics.
tailing and stalking said critics for miles to their houses, throwing law suits, assaulting people with hammers
< sarcasm> yes, it's those OTHER cults that are dangerous... -
