- INDOAZZ, on 05/22/2008, -0/+23Book cases make a house feel smart.
- gebsta, on 05/22/2008, -2/+17people dont read enough anymore
- agentsully, on 05/22/2008, -3/+13I want one of those invisible stacking bookshelves.
- Jasper710, on 05/22/2008, -1/+10the invisible stacking one is a great idea
- inactive, on 05/22/2008, -2/+10I find all the designs nice, but I like Bookcase Bedroom most.
- dimmerswitch, on 05/22/2008, -0/+6I like that DIY option and it looks easy enough for even me to build. Of course I'll probably end up with an entirely new design for the Gravity Bookshelve.
- DeanRed, on 05/23/2008, -0/+6Who wouldn't want a secret bookcase like in the movies???
- TheEnoculator, on 02/17/2009, -0/+5The stairs bookcase was one of the most innovative designs I have ever seen.
- ImYourRealDad, on 05/22/2008, -1/+5I can't imagine finding anything on that color coded bookshelf an easy thing to do.
- allaboutdatiki, on 05/22/2008, -6/+9i am allaboutdatiki and I am a recovering killer of trees ... =)
- darylyounge, on 05/23/2008, -0/+3 Yes for throw away paperbacks and David Beckham.
- TalSiach, on 05/22/2008, -1/+4I really like the invisible one i think its the best since its not screaming for attention.
- ElBeh, on 05/23/2008, -0/+3I don't like it. Using a machine instead of an actual book is just... ugh...
- physco827, on 05/23/2008, -1/+4HOW MANY TIMES WILL THIS MAKE IT TO THE FRONT PAGE?
- ihazstatus, on 05/23/2008, -0/+3Just curious - Have you tried it??
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2Absolutely correct! Let the idiots digg us down, but books are supposed to be art for the content, not the pretty colors or pictures on the cover.
- c0baltfish, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2It's an Anne Frank reference, you're brilliant.
- Hoogs, on 05/23/2008, -0/+2I've made it a priority to build a bookcase door leading to a secret room in my house one day.
- optikalblitz, on 05/22/2008, -2/+4Makes me want to start reading more books...
- dasdef, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1my mom actually has these and got sorta surprised to see them here. The description on it is actually wrong, the bottom book is a real book and not a fake one, as you can see in the pic.
- inactive, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Except for the fact that it is hopelessly screaming for attention: Look over here! Floating books!
- insanecee, on 05/22/2008, -5/+6Oh thats funny people dont read books anymore..... harry potter is over duh...
even so i know i dont have that many books... - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1For the most part, these are really stupid. I own books to read them, not use them as art. Buried as lame.
- Portagine, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I'd love to have my bed inside that book case. It'd be the perfect relaxing, soft-lit spot to read. Here are some more pics of it:
http://www.point-tokyo.jp/works_nagaoka/ni12uroko. ... - inactive, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I thought this would be boring, but it blew me away.
- Rikkochet, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1http://www.instructables.com/id/Build-a-Tetris-DVD ... (Not my Instructable, I just modeled mine after this one)
Built mine a couple months ago. They're freaking awesome when they're on the wall. - MartinsCure, on 05/22/2008, -0/+1I like the invisible ones too, but there is something about old school stacks. There were times in the Vassar library when invisible stacks would not have been such a good idea (lol). There were students, not my allergic self, who used to live in the stale musty air as if some of those left over Newtonian particles could waft their way from dusty pages to their brain. Never worked much for me. Does anyone actually own the invisible ones? What are they like to actually live with?
- Kinnkster, on 05/22/2008, -2/+3Anything so I dont have to bend down and turn my head 90 degrees to the right.
- rgon, on 05/23/2008, -1/+2Put the candle back!
- pox05, on 05/24/2008, -0/+1this is still one of my favorites, would love to have it in my house!

- synthoid, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1EPIC FAIL
- mikebritton, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1These are all awesome cases, but the best thing you can do is give books you like to people who'd also like them. Still, I like the feeling a bookcase made of books evokes for some reason. This is a really great post, thanks.
- BestJaxx, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I have one. They are pretty good, just make sure that you don't screw them into the wall to high, or people will see the trick.
- muzikkislife, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1i love the staircase bookshelf thats awesome. great pics too!

- Daggerfall, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I'd like to tell you that I do because after seing these I instantly went to Amazon to order up. Turns out they're not shipping to Denmark...I'm completely pissed off, is this 2008 or what?
GIVE ME MY GODDAMN BOOKSHELVES RIGHT NOW! - BestJaxx, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1I found mine at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago, and if you can find one there, you can probably find some in some other American stores.
- Daggerfall, on 05/23/2008, -0/+1Edit:

Ahahaha...screw Amazon.com (this time around anyways) - stuwanker, on 05/23/2008, -1/+1It's easy if you're a mathematician--all of your books are yellow.
- seventoes, on 05/23/2008, -2/+2poo-tee-weet?
- diggthis123, on 05/23/2008, -0/+0great shelves but you need books to fill these shelves...too bad reading isn't the "in" thing today
- DanT0007, on 05/23/2008, -0/+0The bed in the Bed Bookcase one is WAY bigger than those two pieces put together.
- BeingHuman, on 05/23/2008, -2/+2The stairs one is cool, but it amazes me how several individually uninteresting things can attract the attention of so many people when they're merely collected together. All in all, not that interesting.
- Enochrewt, on 05/23/2008, -0/+0Just so you people know, the stairs bookcase required a complete gutting and remodeling of the home, it wasn't cheap, like as in it cost something in the 5 figures to do.
And yeah, how many times are we going to see this? - failure2respond, on 05/23/2008, -2/+1why does this keep coming back? I've dugg it like 3 times already!....oh well dugg again. or is that digged? hmmm...
