- Tenlow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25Halfway through I'd counted about 4 ways to open a beer. I doubt they'd pack an extra 996 in the last half of the video.
Now if it was called "1000 things to open beers with" and was a bit longer, it would be cool. - steelmaverick, on 10/12/2007, -5/+25No, its FOX NEWS.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+21I'm going to threadjack to point out that they forgot one:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=Rg-Ea9YYxxE - vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -11/+30boy. your description is so, uh, descriptive that i won't even bother to see the video. thanks.
- l3v14th4n, on 10/12/2007, -5/+17Far less than 1000... no dig
- inactive, on 07/30/2008, -3/+14It's called a HYPERBOLE.
- Hayes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Nice teeth she's got there.
- Celsius032, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12smart man
- drummerdude208, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9haha... this is listed under educational videos
- flamingmb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7that one with the teeth was hard to watch. That has to be painful.
Some of them looked like they came off a little easy though. - homercaholic18, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5a lot of these caps came off way to easy. Must be european beer becasue Canadian Beer pry open tops are hard as hell without an opener or the edge of a sturdy table.
- mikev, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Kevin and Alex, take note...
- Holmes21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Dumb video. I'd like to see them use half of those methods on a canadian beer bottle. And what kind of beer makes that sound when its opened? Nothing I've ever drank.
- gregm, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8I agree. By the description, I have no idea how long it is or how cool it is. I'm not even going to bother to watch, even though I'm bothering to reply... At this point it is mostly out of spite that I won't watch it.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Why must matters of fact cloud the truth?
- mediaphile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3i'll stick with this: http://www.thinkgeek.com/caffeine/accessories/756e/
always catches some attention at a party. too bad it hurts like a mother after about three successive bottles. - phenolholic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4these beers are way too easy to open. yes there are neat ways to open beers, but they're not applicable to all beers. and i dont recommend opening it with your teeth, and neither does that chicks orthodontist. you'll have teeth like hers.
- VaporBro, on 10/26/2007, -1/+4Anyone else think her vagina opened the beer? Cause I did. I was wrong though...I wanna hire that lady's bellybutton.
- mmykle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3its ok, but seriosly, the only thing u need to open a beer is something hard. the only place u can't find something hard is an insane asylum.
- strikerK, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3if you do it right its not so painful.
its a useful trick if you dont have an opener. - po43292, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3yeah ouch!
- dan2, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5If all else fails break it open all over yourself.
- light50, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2The 'pop' occurs when the cap edge is forced directly up quickly with nothing to obstruct it. If the edge is peeled out and up or part of it is obstructed by another object then it releases in a more gentler fashion (as with the teeth at the end). Also anything that moves the bottle around too much will create a big frothy mess (see the example at 9 seconds). Don't try any of the striking techniques unless you are on to it, as I've seen some of these go horribly wrong in a "12 hours in hospital kind of way". The cap removed with the baseball cap seemed to come off way too easy. My personal favorite is a fish slice (spatula). My cousin can open a Lion Red with his eye socket. I'm getting thirsty. Personal beer of the moment: Monteith's Radler --> http://www.monteiths.co.nz/showroom/radler.html
- Suits, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Someone hire that woman's teeth to open your cold ones.
- b.m.a.n, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4yea I was thinking the same thing.....
- Sippi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I cigarette lighter works well also.
- Foxphoto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1wow nice grill
- rnelsonee, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yeah, it's really not as hard as it looks. Just try it sometime. I've done it (and still do) if I can't find a proper opener. You get a wonderful mix of wonder and disgust from those around you when you do it. But seriously, try it next time you're drinking alone and you won't risk embarassment.
- ironylives, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Except for the fact that its a woman who uses her teeth to pop that final brewski,
this video is - I'm sorry to say - uberlame. - cvecve, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31,000 isn't really a gross exaggeration and I feel deceived so it's not hyperbole.
- beltza, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0A pity that YouTube was not around when I was younger and did those stupid things.
On a summer camp we once had a 'rule' that each beer had to be opened with a different object. After a week each and every object had been used, and we stopped drinking... - n00bian, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0for the original project go here - http://stuff.twoday.net/
and yeah - they did 1000 - Mengoxon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ahhh.... dose crasie germahnzzz and deir beerz!!!
- tidu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1WHAT MATES DO.
- oGEEKGUYo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2More like 18 ways to open a beer. No digg - inacurate title.
- Aratsu, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0Didn't somebody mention this in a comment to another Digg earlier today? No digg.
- MrMysterious, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Yeah, use your teeth...really smart. I guess it's a European video so they don't care if their teeth break in two.
- MosaicM, on 10/12/2007, -9/+3Keep the beer closed, save some brain cells.
