Joseph Manna began his social media career at AOL as a program manager for AOL’s online community in 2006. During his tenure at AOL, he directly helped to manage and grow several engaging online communities, operating and trained staff to respond illicit content, and regularly published blog content regarding the company’s social media activities. After his tenure with AOL, he moved to Gilbert, Arizona to serve as Community Manager for Infusionsoft, the leader in email marketing 2.0 for small business. He has helped the company leverage and learn from social media by launching internal social media programs for execs and employees, company blogging, listening to and addressing consumer inquiries and advocating for small businesses across the web. His experience within social media was learned through practical experience, applying his straightforward and results-oriented approach to building community on the web.
