- KSUdesigner, on 10/11/2007, -4/+29I can has slideshows?!
- TimmyGUNZ, on 10/11/2007, -1/+14This is amazing. My only complaint with Flickr is that they don't have their own embedded sideshows, even if it's a feature for Pro users only.
- ElbridgeGerry, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10lolcats reference = digg
- julianrod, on 10/11/2007, -1/+9Well, this one's about Flickr, so it makes sense to me.
- moovitz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+6The e's really were used up in 2000...
- livetheride, on 10/11/2007, -5/+9This really isn't that amazing - he didn't 'create' anything at all. He just made an IFRAME that fit's flickr's already-existing slideshow feature into it - people have been doing this for years - and automated the process.
He even wrote about the exact same thing in his blog in November of 2005:
http://paulstamatiou.com/2005/11/19/how-to-quickie-embedded-flickr-slideshows/
C'mon guys. This is hardly news. - slantyeyed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Erase any text in the TAGS field. By default, it searches for "Cars,Lotus,Exige"
- opensourcemaven, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4old news? it launched on friday.
- fant0m, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Pretty decent.
- cavemonkey50, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3That's a known bug with the Flickr slideshows and Flickr. I'm still waiting for Flickr to fix it.
- mattsfolio, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3Well done Paul
- terrenceisdaman, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2yeah, I'm getting the same thing in the preview window everytime
- xXShadowstormXx, on 10/11/2007, -6/+7What's with all the Web 2.0 domain names removing the letter 'e'? It's annoying =/
- opensourcemaven, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2@jesstech I think that is something to do with the way flickr made it. ive noticed this myself in other cases not just with flickrslidr. it works fine with "normal" dimensions tho
- cosequin, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1don't you mean r?
- paulocon, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Excellent - very useful and easy to use.
- Paul @ www.photographyvoter.com - staticten, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3wow, thanks ,that's awesome!
- Ramrodicus, on 10/11/2007, -5/+4No such photos found!
- Atomic1fire, on 10/11/2007, -5/+3Big deal
google can do this too - opensourcemaven, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1hrm, i see no lolcats reference
- jesstech, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1It has a weird bug which causes it to only stretch to the width of the slideshow, not the height. Try inputting 999px for the width, as that's the maximum the input will take.
Still pretty useful, though. - bill.clark, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1Can we possibly have one more silly ass utility named like Flickr? Please? Let's try to be a little more creative for ourselves, *****.
- tehmoth, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Flash doesn't really deserve to be on the same page as the rest of 'Web 2.0', its more of a Web 1.0 or Web 1.5 thing, along with Java Applets and ActiveX controls.
- Tash1001, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Aren't we just spinning tires here...old news...tell me something new and exciting please!
- rdoger6424, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1In two thousand? unlikely
I'm thinking two thousand thrEE - opensourcemaven, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1try the object approach (check standards compliance mode)
- krokodil, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1Go to:
http://imageshack.us/slideshow/
Select Flickr option. They have this feature for ages. - upsat1976, on 10/11/2007, -3/+0staticten,
Would you care to share some generic code, so that we can put iframes on our myspace? - staticten, on 10/11/2007, -4/+1i've got tons of iframes stuff going on on my myspace page....
- nickstang, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1will this work on myspace?
Has an IFrame, so prolly not.
Can someone recommend a good myspace flickr badge? (no scripting) - arcooke, on 10/11/2007, -5/+1It's only a matter of time before the owner of that site gets a cease and desist letter for using "Flickr" in the domain name.
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+2Wow. So it's a flash swf customizer. Amazing!
- dmahbubanijr, on 10/11/2007, -7/+0DFI motherboard name rip-off.
