      It's much more impressive when it's stitching and blending a panorama from unaligned images shot without a tripod.

      But I guess he had to do it in a way that supports his ongoing story.

      • jsindal, on 09/21/2008, -0/+3Same here...I don't know if I would truly categorize this as viral marketing though, since the guy says flat out in the NPR podcast that they aren't affiliated with Adobe and they're basically growing this 'Donnie fanbase' just to do it and show there's a market for it. Not sure if that really classifies as viral marketing to me. Anyone who A) Likes photoshop and B) likes comedy will find these funny and in this day and age, that's a lot of people.

        They'll probably end up pedaling a product at the end of it all that'll expose their now huge audience to the product, but ANY media, whether it be a popular radio, tv or internet show with a huge following like this would be dumb not to do that and make some money.

        In any case, I find all of these videos hilarious and I'll keep watching them no matter what the true purpose of the videos are.
