But of course the kitchen/bathroom facilities were elsewhere, the 10x12 was merely the place for sleeping and studying.

  • brandonking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Bah, not that bad. They could have put the bed raised above the kitchen and had a communal bathroom. I just saved them 30 sq feet! Seriously, though, that's about the size of my freshman year dorm. No sympathy from me.

  • tokyotechy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0That is not so bad. It is only 120 quid a week. Most rooms you would rent come out to 400-500 per month if you share a house or flat. So to have your own studio flat (small yes) but depending on area. Not surprised. I would prefer to live in that compared to some of the roomies I had to endure.
  • ChrisGranger, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Truly ridiculous as a home, I'd say, but if it was a temporary dwelling (hotel or whatever) it wouldn't be so bad. I kind of like the loft bed.

    Um, yeah, if your active social life involves never actually having any friends over.
