37signals.com — Remember the scene in pulp fiction where Samuel L. Jackson shoots that guy in his apartment after yelling at him about Mr. Marseilles? Someone took the audio from that scene and animated their speech using font size, shape, color, and movement to convey emotion.

      I don't think AMC invented the whole font synched to dialogue with emotion thing, but it's the only other place I can remember seeing it.

  • danielxmorris, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Something like that could be of great use in Closed Captions or Subtitles; it works well a flows better with the audio. It would have to be refined slightly to fit around the visuals of a film though.
