- mathew_bug, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The M.C. Escher one is great.
- dilbert, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Jeee'z, somebod'y ha's a lo't o'f fre'e tim'e o'n hi's hand's. Stil'l origina'l logo's.
Certainl'y dig'g! - wmtrader, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Anything that can be done to keep Google on the front page of Digg, some of the worst stories about Google get on the front page of Digg. What about Google's lame Holiday logo getting on the front page of Digg. I am sure that there is some kind of link between the people who run/own Digg and Google, how else can you explain all of these lame Google Diggs always getting on the front page.
- antiintel, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah, the JPEG one is obviously the best.
~A - stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i like the copyright one :)
- Elxx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1JPEG and Copyright ones are brilliant.
- linead, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And who really cares? This site is about news, not grammar.
- kevbryant, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0don't usually digg blog posts, but these made me happy. +digg
- tothepopemobile, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Nice I like the "150 Years of Cigarettes" that one was cool!! (0.0)
- clevershark, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I'd hate to see what he comes up with for Michael Jackson's birthday.
- ke4roh, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I wa's under the di'stinct impre's'sion that an apostrophe indicate's po'se's'sion or contraction - but not PLURAL!
- theone3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0The whole blog is fascinating. That post absolutely hilarious! +Digg
- MrKite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Screw Google.
Hey, they make enough money now for people to diss them. :D Yay, a new company to bash! - Skardhamar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0These are great! +DIGG
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Dugg for the JPEG logo.
- bigfuzzyjesus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Those were good logos, but damn is google picky
- chmilar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very funny (and very geeky).
Note: "logoes" is also valid. - dextroz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0# 5 (astract one) is ingeniously awesome and they should really consider it! #10 is geeky (in a good way) but not too abstract.
- adml_shake, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Something tells me that third one was submitted by a MS exec....
I like the duckhunt one however! - stedios, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2... digg needs an edit button. lol ..
- pinkuff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0To all the morons commenting a moron wrong use of an apostrophe: READ BEFORE YOU POST - don't you feel silly to all be claiming
"Hey am I the only one noticing this?"
BTW, I found it funny. So digg - burke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha. No worries.
I like the Starbucks one. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Mmm... coffee. - NeilM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Cool.
- tempusrob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I Digg! Very creative...
- stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0right..
- RabidFurby, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Lol pretty funny. Digg
- stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0haha, yea... its funny how it works. A company becomes 'great' and everyone loves them.. then soon enough everyone hates them.. heh
- mr.hostility, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Jpeg one was great, the others....not so much.
Also, why do people bother commenting "No Digg". Who f'in cares if you click dig or not. The story is already up on the front page, moron. - pksynths, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I read Google Blogoscoped everyday. Good to see Philipp get some recognition.
- mark1372, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Not wacky, nor are they zany or even madcap.
- oce222, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ha my favorite is the escher one... rejected b/c: "too creepy"
- GreenSlabOfClay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Wonder if permission was obtained to modify and post those logos?
http://www.google.com/permissions/trademarks.html
Excellent none the less. - wherley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0there was a real Mondrian logo, no need to fake one. see:
http://www.google.com/intl/lv/logos.html - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the jpeg one.
- Avian00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1APOSTROPHE DOES NOT MAKE PLURAL!!!!!
- alittlemelty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0JPEG one was the best.
- stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0eh, quit your whining..I guarantee if I were to go through your stuff, i'd find many mistakes :) But i'm not so childish as to post "OMG YOUJ MORON", get real ... get a life.
- rhyno2000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1One mistake here and there is acceptable, especially in the rush to get your story (or your BLOG) on Digg. But wHacky, "arn't" and "logo's" ... that's just a neon sign that you're a buffoon.
Digg is fast becoming a microcosm of the dumbing down in the sad new 'IM culture'. - vstarre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Reason for rejection: okay, this is lame
- stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0google fan boys perhaps? I posted this because i thought they were funny. If it was MSN logo's, i'd do that same.
- liz4rd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Supposed to be celebrating: Two decades of the JPEG image compression algorithm.
Reason for rejection: Compression too lossy. - MrKite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I love the way this one categorizes your search in a nice menu on the left side.
http://beta.previewseek.com/?mdc=y&twin=n&ilang=english
I use this one all the time. ;) - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I like the JPEG one
- psymaster, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0great link, some of the logos should have been used in my opinion such as the first one, come on I know its too childlish but its fun! and google is supposed to be fun!
- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0+digg for the JPEG algorithm logo.
- dgrinb01, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0lame
- stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0its up for me..
- stedios, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i dunno why ppl keep complaining about the dang apostrophe. Can't you see that its been mentioned several times.. geese.
- MrKite, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It always seems to work that way. There's already a few search engines that a better that are currently in beta. I wonder what will happen to Google if every serious web surfer starts using a different search engine? hah!
