- nextlevel233, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10EVERY single damn post of that blog made the frontpage
- firearcade, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6diggr'd, thanks for the info!
though I can't help wondering why everything wants to be web 2.0, surely a web designer is capable of some innovation? - Anonymous3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Give me SVG logos, *then* I'll tell you the internet turned 2.0
- Funbug, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4No, it's not. The author(s) is/are the same.
- caworden, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Actually it was originally from here: http://www.leandrodonofrio.com/recursos/dise%F1o/dise%F1ar-a-lo-web-2.0-la-lista-definitiva/
and they give credit to him. - roxya, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5This is stolen from http://www.drweb.de/weblog/weblog/?p=780.
- eelco, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2So, who is stopping you from making a better tutorial?
- commandos, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4This is the new Mood :) (Reflection , realistic , shiny ...)
They look very nice !
Dugg - antifreze, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3lol, why is that a bad thing?
Maybe... it's a good design blog. Doesn't that kind of prove it anyways? - Degenerate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Lovely link. not that I'm condoning that everything should be web 2.0 or anything, but it is a nice collection of tut's for photoshop for us more technically minded rather than creative users.
- tofuComputer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Plethora 2.0!!
- poondoggle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Nice set of tutorials. I especially like the Chrome and Reflections one.
- johnners, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Firstly, thanks for this resource. Really interesting and useful.
firearcade, I know what you mean. However, I guess the minimalist aspect of much web 2.0 design means that there's plenty of room for individual flourish. I find that the best way I can learn is by being cheeeeeeesy. Copying a cheesy design and then applying it to my own ideas. What I've seen from these links seems to lend to that.
These are great for quick tips in photoshop to get some nice effects and high-impact logos on the go. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Logos of Web 2.0 at Fontshop is the best!
It's nice to know what fonts are used in some popular logos - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1true... lol ))))))
- dnields, on 10/12/2007, -3/+3"web 2.0" is extremely overrated. I for one am sick and tired of seeing the same damn thing on every other new page that crops up. What ever happened to someone doing something innovative and new?
- Pottypotsworth, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Regardless of if this was posted before its a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to further there knowledge in web design. The amount of searching you have to do for some tutorials is crazy, this is a nice collection.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2This is like the best blog on earth. I LOVE IT!
- bonexaw, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Very nice... too bad the site itself isn't 2.0 instead of the 1995-super-long-page-where-all-you-can-do-is-scroll
- DjAshes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Thanks for adding this. I found it on del.icio.us a little while back but I couldn't find it again after. Doing a search for 'web 2.0 photoshop' doesn't exactly give the most targeted results. ;)
- bboy808, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Stop with the Web 2.0 tags!!! I love the tutorials, but web 2.0 is not a single look, its not a single script, its not a single site. We are not going to wake up one morning and discover the web looks different. Web 2.0 is tag line given to describe the fact that we will be interacting with the web in new exciting ways because of new technology. You can't build a Web 2.0 anything. Its like saying someone built the web, and I hope we all know that no one did. The web is what came to be because of the creativity and submissions from all of us on the Internet. Next thing you know they will be selling web 2.0 in a box. I'm making "powered by Web 2.0" stickers as we speak for my server cases!!!!!
- BobVoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0a+b+c=web 2.0
Is that all there is? - halfgook, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0too bad those tutorials are done "wrong."
i can think of ways of achieving the end result much easier. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1I'd like to know just how many 1st time "web 2.0-project" developers actually succeed. This stuff seem harder than a roll of quarters. I'd rather just design the back end and pay someone to make it look pretty. Enough tutorials. I say, if you need a tutorial for art, you're probably not going to make anything good. Just a thought.
- nightmarekiller, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0ohhhh shiny logos, cannot resist the shining logos...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3shiny = *****
- dnields, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1It looks like that blog was MADE with FrontPage.
;) - rEvolution3, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2I've never seen anything so lame before. this is Web 0.9
