- AdamSnow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17This site is up and down like a hooker's undergarments!
- ScoTTeh, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Heres the ones i use:

- devlounge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Another cheap host making to the fp of digg :-/
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11How could a web 2.0 site be as horrible designed as that! Fonts sizes going all wrong? .ASP?
- the_snitch, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10404 error and general server unavailability has become a web 2.0 trend
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9"Service Unavailable"
does that mean we can still signup for the BETA? - cwcheang, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8web 2.0 is the new magic word
- LucasVB, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6RSS Orange, heehee! The list is pretty short, though. It could easily have more entries
- rax262, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Yes, I think so too. I'm off to Sherwin Williams 2.0 Can you guys mix me up a can of #FF0084?
- phatvolvo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8I thought it was "Hizbollah"...
- DEADB33F, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Web 2.0 is all about getting the users of your site to create all the content on it, so you don't have to do anything except rake in the ad revenue.
- artman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Another trend and another exploit of it. This is total "let's give certain web colors fancy, trendy names" BS. Want to learn web color? Start with the basics and learn about Color Theory and Color Balance. Then apply that to the web and web colors. Be creative for once.

there'ya go - airstrike, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4shut the hell up, dude. if it were so lame, we wouldn't all be digging it. we have our own opinions and we choose what we want to report as lame or not. digg it down if you want, but keep such comments to yourself, please.
oh, and the list is a little too short.. - Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Mac, Ubuntu, Web 2.0, Wii, Colbert. The last three things I like.
- chubbymidget, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I don't think the design is that bad. Keep in mind the CSS may not be loading on first connection because of all the connections. At the list looks kind of helpful and funny.
I've seen dugg, and dugg myself I admit, stuff more useless than this.
Dugg! - zane411, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5Anyone else sick of the damn buzz words on digg, its like... ill make an artical about oh lets say paint drying, but ill say its Web 2.0 colored paint, and it was designed using ubuntu to be the ipod killer. Its paint guys. PAINT. Whoopdiefriggindoo. Digg is about spreading important news to the internet...this..this is not important..
- Ninjamonk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3excellent link's. I use the wellstyled one all the time but the other one seems a touch better.
gotta love reddit white. - alvim, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Damn it, guys...
We know bashing buzzwords is all the rage these days, but come on! The site is obviously making FUN of web 2.0 things, not saying they're cool or something. The freaking site's name is "www.modernlifeisrubbish.co.uk", that should tell you something, right? - AaronMT, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4I think I might paint my young neices room Flickr pink.
- Tarmas, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Yep, dugg to death. If that's what you mean ;)
- jconnop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Just took about 7-10 refreshes and it loaded....had a good chuckle indeed. "Gmail Blue" Haha, nice.
- Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3..that means they're making fun on Digg too! Digg being mentioned on a Web 2.0 site? OMFG no way!
- cheam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Was it really that hard to get color schemes? There were tonnes of color scheming software out there, like GenoPal and ColorSchemers, which do the job so well. Guess there're no stopping the Web 2.0 tagging on anything, huh? Sheesh
- vajra918, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Its almost like its all the colours blended togeather in perfect 'synergy'
- neladua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I was all ready to argue that the 'Web 2.0' palette as we (I?) know it is probably on the verge of change, with colours such as thosed by Flickr and Odeo having been used for so long that pink/cyan/lime green are too common to be fashionable.
..and yet, somehow the article, as you mention, seems to completely out to lunch. Who cares about the colour used for Ruby on Rails' logo - it's the colours used by popular 'Web 2.0' Ruby on Rails-based websites (...such as Flickr or Odeo) that matters... or doesn't. Because I do think it's time for a change. Probably not to be determined by Google, though - as functionally refined as their products are, I don't really see them as leaders in colour fashion. - sLydE, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2nifty, thanks for the bookmarks :)
- Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yes....it's paint - but paint with an IDEA behind it. Such is Web 2.0.
- bbxboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What a crock of sh*t. Anybody paying attention to this meaningless garbage needs a slap.
- ekid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You can download it as photoshop palette from my site http://www.ekid.nl/Web_2.0_Colour_Palette.aco
- TheKeithD, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh man, I never would've thought of using Reddit White for my site! It's such a subtle color, a perfect blend of lightness with a slight tint of dark. He must've been searching all over the color chooser to find that one, and I thank him for the many sleepless nights he no doubt spent looking for that color!
- luxbot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1haha! I have found his color scheme names funny and at the same time very helpful.. Give the man some slack. I am sure his layout is sarcastic.. (at least I hope)
- v3xt0r, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1LOL!!! hilarious
- draco8876, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That just made re-designing my website a whole lot simpler. Thank you.
- liquidizer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1oh, and build and promote the infrastructure in the first place. And pay the bills associated with providing a free web 2.0 service. etc...
- easycoder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd say its a rip of this:
http://miles.burke.id.au/blog/2006/02/03/the-web-20-secret-weapon/
But Miles' site is ganked. - Topher06, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Web 2.0 most over hyped and overused buzzword on the web today.
So what, I am not a Web 2.0 site because I don't pick colors from a common palette? Dugg down for the sheer uselessness of this article. I can pull 21 colors ouf of my ass and say they are ready for 2.0. The will tend to be muted browns though.
I will be glad when Web 2.0's fifteen minutes of web infamy is over with. - BryanA, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This Web 2.0 actually meant something good once. It's become like the letter 'X' in the ninties, later the letter 'e-' and the letter 'i' more recently. Too bad the original thought is now totally cheapened; but I have to say! ModernLifeIsRubbish take on colors for Web 2.0 is an amusing satire on the iWorld we all iLive in. You gotta laugh at how we all get taken in sometimes.
- witte, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Both inaccurate and lame simultaneously.
- Metasquares, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0"Those of us in the know realise what Web2.0 is really all about – putting things on super shiney tables and painting them with gradients and candy colours and shiny silver and stuff."
No, no: It's about putting things on super shiny *DIVs*. Don't even mention the word "tables" around Web 2.0 webmasters. It makes them go nuts. - Bennethon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This has nothing to do with Web2.0 technology.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It's satire.
- Phocion55, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2I know this was ment to be an ***** comment, but unbeknownst to yourself, you've made a good point. It just goes to show the popularity of these types of web sites.
- Saintlink, on 10/12/2007, -6/+6http://duggmirror.com/design/Web_2_0_Colour_Palette
- modernlife, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I believe it was Reddit that did most of the damage :P
- modernlife, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0You forgot this: </sarcasm>
- ellisdee, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2The only hookers I remember never worn undergarments
