- rodolphe, on 10/10/2007, -15/+5It looks great! I need a font made from this... :)
- monospaced, on 10/10/2007, -15/+4make one then
- anogenic, on 10/10/2007, -2/+15This is a great concept, and it's a finished job. Go any further and make and actual font out of it and you'll ruin the whole thing... You sound like a comic sans user.
- rodolphe, on 10/10/2007, -2/+4Wow, I didn't realise my comment was so subversive :)
- tnatharik, on 10/10/2007, -11/+4Wondering how to add this font.
- monospaced, on 10/10/2007, -14/+6make one
- roywaits, on 02/02/2008, -5/+4Why is monospaced getting dugg down? Because he didn't do it for you and post a link? Because you don't know how to make a font set and feel inadequate?
- p0tent1al, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Because instead of answering his question, he decided to reply and not help, but instead be a pompous prick.
- anagoge, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1tnatharik, this isn't an actual font that you can use on your computer. It's simply an experiment into what shapes can be used to make letters in the real world. Again, this isn't an actual font.
- Anrkist, on 10/10/2007, -5/+49Neat, a first year students design/photography project!
- dj_sea2005, on 10/10/2007, -6/+7So true...
/Second year graphic design student - monospaced, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1Type 1
- illahtech, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Haha I was thinking the exact same thing. Granted, this is one of the better examples I've seen, but this is literally a first semester class in the Photo curriculum at most art schools.
- JoeDiggsIt, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1We do this in AP Art at my high school, but they usually end up lookin' REALLY pushed and lame.
- dj_sea2005, on 10/10/2007, -6/+7So true...
- SlantyEyes, on 10/10/2007, -14/+10Looks like my 1st grade handwriting...

- HenvY, on 10/10/2007, -43/+4Amazing, cropped photographs of building tops from ground level can be made to look like an alphabet? Well ***** me, this is a revelation. What's next, digitally enhancing portraits?
- birdadderley, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9I don't know whether to congratulate or slap you...
- RexMaxus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Most people thought it better to slap him...
- badantheugly, on 10/10/2007, -2/+31@ HenvY
You might as well say:
Putting different types of pigment on canvas creates a picture, how amazing!
or
Putting one brick on top of another makes a really tall building - astounding!
or
Poking someone in the chest with a knife enables you to do surgery - who'd have thought it?
You might not like it, hell, it might be that NO-ONE likes it, but the point is that someone got off their ass and made something. Pointing out that big things are made of little things, or that artistic techniques are frequently very simple doesn't really prove anything.
Rant over - carry on now.
- birdadderley, on 10/10/2007, -4/+9I don't know whether to congratulate or slap you...
- MavRevMatt, on 10/10/2007, -32/+26Digg me down.

I'm digg you up.- MavRevMatt, on 10/10/2007, -5/+3That -was- the point. To see how many people don't listen to other people on Digg. Evidently you're the only one.
- abandonedhero, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Or was the point to draw attention to yourself because you're an attention-whore?

he probably looked like a spastic walking around the city staring at the skyline- wattznext, on 10/10/2007, -0/+17you mean he probably looked like every goddamn tourist in NYC?
- Khook20, on 10/10/2007, -16/+2Um, yeah. Lame.
- insanebrain, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2you mean innovative ??
- abandonedhero, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Nope. Lame. Like buried as lame. Just like your comment.
- insanebrain, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2you mean innovative ??
- stellarceltic, on 10/10/2007, -14/+2If "Urban" means amateur and difficult to read, than hell yes!
- UtopiaInTheSky, on 10/10/2007, -11/+0Fake!
- joaoalves, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5It actually took me a while to understand what the letters where made of...
- crushfan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Hahah, nice Forrest Gump reference.. Wait.. I.. Eh, nevermind.

Looks pretty neat when used.- SurrealDream, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4Hot? Back in my day, things that were hot used to be "cool".
F'in Michael Jackson ruined it all by making good "bad".
I don't know my arse from my elbow these days...- arbulus, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1don't forget, if you're a hipster, it's deck. (which makes no ***** sense either)
- evilevil, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2looks like
"digg is the bitness" - Duluoz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Looks like "digg is teh hotness" to me. Maybe it's not written English?
- l0rdn1k0n, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Duluoz, teh is a variation of the word "the", similar to pwned instead of owned ;)
- SurrealDream, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4Hot? Back in my day, things that were hot used to be "cool".
- TheDHC, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1no download?
yawn- crushfan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"Save Image As..."?
- orukabir, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2It's alright, im sure they would look much better printed out in A2-A1 sizes
- Sevenfw, on 10/10/2007, -7/+0Red X's in boxes is an AWESOME design.
- revjustin2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I don't know what you are talking about.
- Sparkster185, on 10/10/2007, -14/+9Goodness this is lame. Do people just blindly digg everything MrBabyMan submits?
- edm1950, on 10/10/2007, -6/+0the letter forms aren't consistent and resemble more a mixture of typefaces. Notice that the d has a counter while the o,p and q do not. Someone got lazy, a little more leg work is needed.
- HunterTV, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Open... your... mind...
- daxsymbiont, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1WE CAN'T READ IT.
try again. - tefeari, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0Someone needs to make this a font!
- anagoge, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Why? No one would use it. And if they did, it'd be an awful choice.
Great little project, terrible real world font.- timcopeland1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I'd use it. Its cool. I'd use it in the opening titles of my movie.
- anagoge, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Why? No one would use it. And if they did, it'd be an awful choice.

From a wall in Brugge. - stealthcow, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5looks like the font the london olympic logo used
- jackturner, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Howdy all, I'm the person/guy who made the original post on his thought bucket. I just wanted that I didn't make this photo. I just found it on CoolHunting.com and reblogged it. Forgot to cite the source because I didn't think anyone actually looked in my bucket, I'm flattered that people do. Anyway, I added a link to the original post. Actually it's just a link to the people who linked to it first, since I can't find any sort of post/page where this "font" was first posted:
http://www.core77.com/blog/object_culture/a_truly_urban_font_6837.asp - samfishercell, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Dugg just for using and knowing the word "typography"
- fuzzboxer, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I thought this would be a link to this site: http://www.urbanfonts.com/
- Melikoth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I was kinda hoping that it had a downloadable counterpart.
