- pixelkicker, on 12/18/2007, -2/+3very cool, watch the video of the NYC park they have, its interesting.
- shepoots, on 12/18/2007, -1/+2Very nice! thanks for sharing that! The Cross country road trip was excellent!
- pimpbot1979, on 12/18/2007, -0/+7Cool but I prefer 'judgment lapse photography.'

- darny, on 12/18/2007, -2/+4Read the snopes article...the drop isn't 900 feet, it's only about 10 or 20.

- tibbon, on 12/18/2007, -9/+2Maybe some of you are impressed by these "Photography Howto" posts here on Digg, but I normally figure anyone that knows anything about photography already has this stuff down. It's just common sense if you have ANY experience with photography.
- Zoojeff, on 12/18/2007, -1/+5Maybe youre right but what about people who DONT have any experience with photography and want to start doing it?
- newmaciel, on 12/18/2007, -1/+2I think photojojos target is amatures wanting to do the fun effects that they see more experianced photographers (perhaps such as yourself) doing...maybe your just not impressed because you know everything already.
- djAnakin, on 12/18/2007, -0/+1... thinks he knows everything already.
- Synchro, on 12/18/2007, -0/+7I have a BFA in photography and have been doing all sorts of things for years and years, but there is always room to learn something new or a new way of doing something. For example, I had been searching for a repeatable way to do a certain effect in photoshop that i used to be able to do in the darkroom in college. I saw something like it in a how to years and years ago, tried it, modified it and made it my own. So try not to be so dismissive. 90% of the how to may be repetitive, but if you find just one thing that you did not know that contributes to your own work, it might be useful.

- tibbon, on 12/18/2007, -5/+3Does anyone else find it odd that they are asking to be Dugg on their website, but yet don't have any decent load balancing/caching set up on their server to be able to handle it? Don't ask for it if you can't handle it.
As a web consulting professional, I find it idiotic that so many people don't have their servers set up or hosted decently.- djAnakin, on 12/18/2007, -0/+3Site works just fine for me. Maybe you're just a douche.
- illt, on 12/18/2007, -1/+2anyone have a mirror?
My 10D is getting towards the end of it's life and i figured i would use it for some time lapse.- peejah, on 12/18/2007, -0/+1what he/she said...
- ieataquacrayons, on 12/18/2007, -2/+15Anyone else think digg should have a stat "how fast the server was taken down"
- Scoreboard, on 12/18/2007, -1/+0What kind of photo enhancement would the Digg effect be classified as? There's only so much time lapse I can take before the Connecting... becomes too much of a bore.

- asa400, on 12/18/2007, -3/+1The timelapse they use as an example is just boring. Obviously this is a site geared towards amateurs. And yes, the ad for Magnetic Photo Rope gave it away. In any case, it took them a long time to explain a fairly simple process.
To see what timelapse photography can do in the hands of a dedicated professional, check out Ollie Larkin's work.

http://av.adobe.com/russellbrown/WarnerTimelapseSM ... - superamit, on 12/18/2007, -1/+2Server's back up. Apache farted.
- Brian48216, on 12/18/2007, -1/+2Actually, for those who use Nikon dSLRs, they have a piece of software called camera control pro. You plug your computer into the camera with a USB cable, and set it to take pictures every x seconds/minutes/hours, and it'll automatically stream the pictures to your computer's hard drive.
- Korayem, on 01/05/2008, -0/+1There is a similar software for Canon. And there the generic "DSLR Remote Pro"....google it
- theolane, on 12/18/2007, -1/+1i wonder how many times I am in the Bryant Park time lapse... at least 6 different days that I can think of
- orgazmo, on 12/18/2007, -5/+3Dugg down for using QuickTime
- zeppo, on 12/19/2007, -1/+1Damn it I thought this was Time Lapse Pornography.
- sportbikepilot, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2dugg for the Leona Naess song
- peejah, on 12/19/2007, -0/+2"Deshaker" for virtualdub does a good job of making your time lapse "seamless"
http://www.guthspot.se/video/deshaker.htm - perot9296, on 12/19/2007, -1/+1Photography stuff should go under the Lifestyle - Arts & Culture section on Digg, not Design. Buried
- arniegrape, on 12/20/2007, -0/+1Uh, the TC-80N3 that's pictured MSRPs for about $200, not $60.
- cirkla, on 03/23/2008, -0/+0Photojojo is the only email newsletter I am willing to read.
