Are you kidding me? Just because they don't do tutorial after tutorial on "OMG ROUNDED CORNERS" doesn't discredit the fact that they are one of the best online web dev publications. - samuelcotterall, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Web designers read ALA, that's who.
Given that your username refers to ActionScript, I'm assuming you don't really care about web standards, accessibility and usability. - chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10ALA is a goldmine. IE6 hasn't changed so almost everything on the site is still relevant.
- ngmcs8203, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12A lot of people do. Especially when their articles hit front page here or on any other social news service.

http://www.smashingmagazine.com - essjay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I'm sorry if ALA is above you, but those of us in the industry find the articles extremely interesting. Even more interesting are the discussions that inevitably follow the pieces. Maybe you should stick to W3Schools.com, thats more your level.
- dadrew1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6That picture on the front of the Type for You website right now is freaking freaky... man
- grubesteak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6When Vitamin came on the scene awhile back, it started off strong but recently, there haven't been as many articles. Maybe the Carson boys are busy or something, but I would like to see more on Vitamin.

Irony, site about web design f*s up its CSS - jeffgtr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3ALA is very relevant if you care about good web design. It is a must read. Zeldman and Co. provide the web design community with a true jewel.

- netzdamon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Yes it's a page full of ads but they are still good sites for web devs. ALA is a great first example.

- 3DProf4online, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0What do you think about 3D models placed at www.touchbubble.com? Could they be useful for online store designers?
3DProf4online - Markpdotcom, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2ALA is good... its just old. Most of the articles are outdated, that's fine for reading and creating for legacy content/compatibility etc... but in the description above states "Printed magazines are all well and good but they cant deliver up to the minute information" ALA isn't exactly cutting edge is it?
- sjnromw, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Yeah http://csszengarden.com should be up there as well. Great site for CSS design.
- ammyjonnes, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I just want to add a bit on experience.May be you shall like my suggestion that its good if you should visit the site of Web Designing Company-
www.webdesigningcompany.net ,they might be a lesser known to you ,but it’s much easy to grasp a concept from their plateform.Even I am planning to redesign my flash website with attractive modifications soon. - Mongoose, on 10/12/2007, -6/+5Mirrors:

- ImYourRealDad, on 10/12/2007, -6/+350 Diggs and it's down. Cool.
- Mongoose, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2They worked when I posted 'em and they work for me even now. Blame Google and Coral, not me.
- scispaz, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2It is a list of web design digg spammers.
Also, some of the designs of these sites just aren't that good. - actionscripted, on 10/12/2007, -31/+4Digital Web is definitely a good pick, but who the ***** still reads ALA?
What is Digg?
