The Worst Logo EVER
checkpoint.com — Yes, this really is the official logo for Check Point security software. It was created by the CEO's 6-year-old daughter. Would you trust your computer's safety to a company with this heinous logo?
- 4185 diggs
- digg it
- thommykno, on 10/10/2007, -5/+139It's gonna get a few people on the website though..
- gllopc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+88You're right. The logo grabbed the attention of a digger, and now we're all going to the site. It's that whole, there's no such thing as bad advertising... thing.
- gungaroo22, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7But will anyone buy it?
- jcostom, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15You mean like over 90 of the Fortune 100? Yes, CP's logo stinks, but at the end of the day, do you care if they're great artists, or have good firewall software? After all, you're not outsourcing artwork to them, you're buying data security products.
- Light11, on 10/10/2007, -13/+7yes but if they dont take care of their image, one would think that they _dont_ care about what they do..
- mocheeze, on 10/10/2007, -6/+3They could also be devoting so much time to their customers that the logo isn't at the top of their "***** we should do that doesn't matter at all" list.
- allywilson, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2To be honest, I'd have thought they'd be rebranding as Nokia by now.
- CATSCEO, on 10/10/2007, -26/+11Will it blend?
- Eoborges, on 10/10/2007, -0/+18i think it already did
- Nitrodist, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12Will YOU blend?
- badjoke, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Will this joke please blend, and die?
- badjoke, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2They're a big-ish Microsoft partner. I remember having to set up a little info site for Checkpoint and upon finding the logo to post, questioned its authenticity. I wonder if a better graphics team would help their business at all.
- wellyuk, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4That's the thing.. we've gone to visit the site to check out the god-awful logo. I'm certainly not going to spend any time reading further about this company.. particularly with such a sucky logo. So yes, there is such a thing as bad advertising.
- gungaroo22, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7But will anyone buy it?
- mseneschal, on 10/10/2007, -2/+34That doesn't change the fact it's a horrible logo.
- wiirdo, on 10/10/2007, -10/+6I didn't bother to go to the website, just clicked on the Digg link to see the logo. FUGLY!
- Hassassin, on 10/10/2007, -11/+6um, the digg link goes to the website there Einstein.
- shawnz, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7is that why the link is "http://www.checkpoint.com/presskit/images/cp_vert/CP_ltd_vertical_Pos.jpg"?
- GiggleStick, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Nothing like calling someone Einstein sarcastically when saying something retarded. I think you won the internet Hassassin!
- Hassassin, on 10/10/2007, -11/+6um, the digg link goes to the website there Einstein.
- Lennalf, on 10/10/2007, -14/+10Maybe their target client base is pedophiles.
- Quiwi, on 10/10/2007, -8/+4I think it's actually pretty good for a 6 yo. The graph shows more of an understanding of networks than the average person XD
@Lennalf of course it's funny that Check point shortens to CP... "CP_ltd_vertical_Pos.jpg" CP? POS?- kmpr326, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3CP = Child Porn and POS=Piece of *****.
This post has been brought to you by Captain Obvious and someone who lieks mudkips.
- kmpr326, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3CP = Child Porn and POS=Piece of *****.

http://digg.com/design/The_Worstest_Logo_EVER- tradwolley, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1What exactly are they trying to service ;)
- quakebooy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1well... thats not a note worthy bad logo....
its nothing special...
- jun2san, on 10/10/2007, -9/+4To answer your question, Yes, I would trust this CEO. Allowing his 6 year old daughter to draw the logo shows that he is a very serious family man and you can always trust a man that puts his family first.
- Quito, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5He may be a good family man, but can't possibly take his business sense to support such a poor logo seriously. Dugg down for being the worst example of the worst logo EVER.
- sancho320, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4That's ***** and you know it.
- British0zzy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2good ol' microsoft paint
- mytextgoeshere, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0i love paint!
- gllopc, on 10/10/2007, -2/+88You're right. The logo grabbed the attention of a digger, and now we're all going to the site. It's that whole, there's no such thing as bad advertising... thing.
- MinnieLass, on 10/10/2007, -7/+717It seems a lot better than our very expensive UK Olympic logo is all I can say!
- veggiemoore, on 10/10/2007, -11/+91This one?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:BBC_Goatse.cx_Alternative_Olympic_logo.png- netdroid9, on 10/10/2007, -2/+47Oh thank god, I thought that was going to be much worse... I've really got to stop opening links compulsively.
- veggiemoore, on 10/10/2007, -1/+29Oh yeah, I should have put up a disclaimer. It's not actually Goatse.
- chedabob, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Great work by B3ta
- Ephraim2007, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2thank god that was safe for work, cause that is where i am right now, wasting time.
- Mike89, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Check this out, for Goatse-esque logos: http://www.westnet.com.au/images/logo/westnet_logo.gif
The actual logo for an Australian ISP :P - SniperX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Ahhhhh, agreed, thank god it wasn't real. I, too, went to click after seeing it was wikipedia and had one of those "nooooooooo!" moments after seeing goatse in the url, phew!
- Dankoozy, on 10/10/2007, -4/+11yea they should have stuck with the goatse logo. its better than the ***** they have now
- Darcy, on 10/10/2007, -3/+32Nothings worse than the 2012 olympic logo.
- nhprm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Worse than a child designing it.. London gave the Geico caveman the job.
- ronaldinho, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3It's so easy even a caveman can do it
- projectstartrek, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Not even cancer?

*sigh* Why didn't New York win again? - DOGPARTY, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1People who don't get the london logo are hilarious.
Bunch of ***** morons
- veggiemoore, on 10/10/2007, -11/+91This one?
- ramong, on 10/10/2007, -52/+35LOL! That logo is a masterpiece compared to these: http://fourtwentydesign.com/blog/archives/2005/logos-that-never-should-have-been/
- FoxOrian, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Ha! Those are amazing, though.
- Darcy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7lol
- CATSCEO, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1ROFLCOPTERS!
- DBiz, on 10/10/2007, -40/+12Thanks for a total of two logos there ramong, mighty large of you.
Buried your comment, dugg the story...- Hayaemsay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+33You know there is a brand new feature called reply!
- karthickdoss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Each digger should be given a chance to digg any one comment/story twice per day. I want to digg up ur comment twice but...
- DigitalN, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5whoah whoah, lets work on a photo section first.
- karthickdoss, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Each digger should be given a chance to digg any one comment/story twice per day. I want to digg up ur comment twice but...
- avisotin, on 10/10/2007, -7/+6I dugg you down and reported you, idiot.
Don't ask me why. I don't know. - burntice, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Well, you didn't supply us with any logos did you DBiz?
- Hayaemsay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+33You know there is a brand new feature called reply!
- bakeyman, on 10/10/2007, -5/+98We actually use Checkpoint's firewall, and it's a great product. Support's really expensive on it though.
- manifestdata, on 10/10/2007, -9/+16Obviously you don't ever get onto the firewall or try to support it yourself. Checkpoint has one of the most half-assed way of creating ACL rules and 1-to-1 NATs. Maybe you got some newer models because the ones my clients have are terrible. Only thing worse would be a Watchguard product.
- gyrfalcon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5@manifestdata
To bad these ***** diggers are digging you down; as you've made one of the most valid comments about the product. I agree with you about Watchguard too, which basically resells Linux.- KniteWulf, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2How do you resell a free product?
- drakenlot, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2It's called lying, cheating, and some bad-ass marketing.
- KniteWulf, on 10/26/2007, -0/+2How do you resell a free product?
- cosmicv, on 10/26/2007, -4/+1Obviously the perspective of a Cisco-droid.
- gyrfalcon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5@manifestdata
- RyanHCO, on 10/26/2007, -6/+0I'd go with Secure Computing. Their Sidewinder firewall has never been hacked in its 12 years of existence, and it handles security both inbound and outbound. And the sheer number of functions it can do is sick. And their logo doesn't suck balls.
- gyrfalcon, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1The sidewinder firewall is a joke, and it's been hacked... Do some google searches before you post someone else's marketing *****.
- drjones78, on 10/10/2007, -7/+23I did some contract work for a company who was having problems with their checkpoint firewall "solution" about 5 years ago.
They paid around $50,000 for this rackmount Checkpoint firewall box... after getting into the guts of it, diagnosing some things, we found it was little more than a cheap motherboard, with an intel celeron proc (about a 300$ cpu at the time). It had a nic, and a serial port console.
50k for a $400-500 machine (tops) running some bastardized obscure trimmed down unix variant. One of the biggest rip-offs in the history of this planet. Would have been better off using BSD ipfw or iptables on linux.- wattznext, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11I don't know why you're being dugg down, i don't even understand what you said !
- hempydave, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1That little girl ain't dumb, she got her whole class digging down the hardware review.
- gyrfalcon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Yeah well you have all these dumb ***** who think it's the hardware they're paying for... You're paying for a secure OS and the support behind it.
Linux (unless it's hardened) is a joke, same with BSD (unless it's OpenBSD)...
- ontain, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5this is how a lot of the network appliances are like. it's really the software and support that you're getting. the actual hardware is minimal.
- cbreaker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Yea I don't know why this is a surprise to you. The BigIP's were just Pentium 3's running FreeBSD and eventually Linux, and the Cisco PIX was nothing more then a 1U PC with a flash-based hard disk.
- gyrfalcon, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I like how every dumbass who makes a comment about "Good Firewalls" has jack ***** for experience in supporting them in an enterprise environment.
- cosmicv, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2What your bitching about is the Nokia hardware they purchased, which IS overpriced for what it does. Checkpoint sells a hardened software OS that you can run on any intel hardware you want, thereby sidestepping the cost you refer to.
- wattznext, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11I don't know why you're being dugg down, i don't even understand what you said !
- signal15, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7Checkpoint is great if you never have to upgrade it, or make changes to the config. It's by far the buggiest firewall I've ever used, their support is absolutely horrid, and if you use it on Nokia or another platform, the vendors all just point fingers at each other when there is a problem. I have to work with this product all the time, and it's a complete nightmare. Plus, for those who don't run windows, you're out of luck on managing it because their management interface only runs on windows and has major problems in WINE.
Get yourself a Juniper firewall and be done with it. They are easier to configure, super stable, have excellent performance, and better support. Many of my Checkpoint customers over the last 3 years have been switching to Juniper.
The Checkpoint Edge devices are also total garbage. I've had people buy them and return them because they were so crappy.- cbreaker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2There's actually things that the Checkpoint can do that many others can not.
You can manage an entire enterprise of several dozen firewalls all from a central console. You can make a rule change and that rule change can be applied universally to all units without having to login to twenty firewalls.
Once Checkpoint is set up properly it's actually very easy to manage.
- cbreaker, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2There's actually things that the Checkpoint can do that many others can not.
- chandler, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2My company just uses iptables on Fedora Core 2...
- cosmicv, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Checkpoint Secureplatform IS redhat 7.2
- pacdude, on 10/10/2007, -1/+8Maybe a 6-year old designed the software too?
- gyrfalcon, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1None of you know anything about firewalls... except manifestdata.
- wiifm69, on 10/10/2007, -5/+177If they had 1000 6 year olds, producing 1000 logos a day, I'm sure one would be a work of art
- Jones82, on 10/10/2007, -0/+24It was the BLURST of times!?
- bhowell, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7And one of them would be Shakespeare's collected works.
Wait, or was that monkeys?- Dotmeister, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1That would be the monkeys!
- o0joshua0o, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1I'm sure that more than 1 would be a work of art.
- tradwolley, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8I don't know, even my fridge has standards
- rzurad, on 10/10/2007, -2/+11@wiifm69
You trying to open a logo photoshop sweatshop?
That's something you can pitch to adobe: Adobe SweatShop CS3 - zaco, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0its hard to tell if it was drawn by some one who is six, or someone who is like 30 and just doing to much lsd
- crazedgremlin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Okay. http://www.uselesspython.com/download.php?script_id=232
Download and run. Hit enter for just ONE LINE of Shakespeare (If you type something else, exclude capitals and punctuation) without punctuation or capitals. Watch how long it takes.
*And Yes, I'm aware that your comment was a joke. - JustFender, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0they'd all be works of art, probably wouldn't be good though
- captainchris, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1that kinda sounds like the infinite monkey theorem 8)
- garyh84, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Shhh... you're giving Wal-Mart ideas!
- aldenhg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1But where are you going to get that many 6 year olds who you can make work? Besides Indonesia, of course.
- avions, on 10/10/2007, -4/+241I've seen worse.
- betterth, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21Definitely. Some color changes and smoothing up of this picture and I could see it being quite a new age looking logo sadly.
- nmckinlay, on 10/10/2007, -8/+2Pics or it didn't happen :)
- nontitle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1People, he was being sarcastic! also, where did this come from in the first place?
- StormTrooperVII, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2agreed. buried as inaccurate.
- Falldog, on 10/10/2007, -14/+304I read the title as "The Worst Lego EVER" and was sorely disappointed.
- shavenlunatic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7me too.. subliminal advertising on Lego's part i reckon.. they're in the internets
- catalysis, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1How do you misread something that makes sense as something that makes no sense at all? Reading comprehension FTL.
- Dan2552, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Wasn't only me then :) atleast I'm not the only one going crazy.
- Foenetik, on 10/10/2007, -3/+174pretty sure most of these are much worse
http://www.b3ta.com/features/phalliclogoawards/- droversoul, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Atherton car centre made me laugh the most.
- insomniak29, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11http://img265.imageshack.us/my.php?image=internettubesan0.gif
- fstorino, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Brazilian Institute for Oriental Studies FTW!
I'm Brazilian. Too bad I haven't seen this logo in person yet...
- Philluminati, on 10/10/2007, -8/+19I actually write a rival product to Checkpoint NG Firewall-1 XNUABDIBA. It's only for internal use (we manage alot of firewalls) but trust me, our logo is better. I think we did it in Paint.
- graemee, on 10/10/2007, -4/+7So you're six too. Man, writing a firewall at six is impressive.
- Philluminati, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Actually it's not a firewall directly and neither is checkpoint NG. It's a front end for remote config of linux firewalls.
- graemee, on 10/10/2007, -4/+7So you're six too. Man, writing a firewall at six is impressive.
- fkr3, on 10/10/2007, -10/+76At least it's not just "a font" like 99.999999999% of website logos.
- empirikal, on 10/10/2007, -0/+21Just an FYI, but the term logo is derived from "logotype" which is actually just "a font". Some of the worlds greatest and most renown logos are just a font as well. Microsoft, Crate & Barrel, American Apparel, and Panasonic (and these are just examples using Helvetica).
- designpunk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8Typographic logos are some of the most effective brands in the world - look at Google for christs sake.
- understudy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Google has one of the worst typographic, generic serifed, poorly scalable, drop shadowed, bevel and embossed, tacky colored logos in the world, and they know it.
_
- understudy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Google has one of the worst typographic, generic serifed, poorly scalable, drop shadowed, bevel and embossed, tacky colored logos in the world, and they know it.
- jankind, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Yup.
As a graphic designer with plenty of logo design experience, I must agree that sometimes that's all you need. This one is a good example. Take away that stupid little Mario Paint drawing and it would work just fine. It wouldn't be great, but it would be better. - anogenic, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1it's not a website logo.
- pdrj, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0logotype = Font
isotype = drawing
isologotype..., you get the point?
- joeleslie, on 10/10/2007, -7/+65Don't mean to burst your bubble, but what exactly were you expecting from a 6-year-old girl?
- whiteyMcBrown, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6I think the point is that we weren't expecting a company's branding to be put into the hands of a 6 yr old (Not that we expected better from a 6 yr old, but from her dad)
- o0joshua0o, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5We all know that no 6-year-old could ever produce a great work of art, like a symphony or something.
- hempydave, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Rembrandt she ain't.
- Aticper, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0And that is EXACTLY why you never ask your CEO for input.
- gllopc, on 10/10/2007, -6/+137I don't think it's THAT bad.
- Hayaemsay, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9Niether do I, but I mistook it for abstract art....
- OhTheHumanity1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Not at all, it's a welcome departure from all the Web 2.0 *****
- Lasereth, on 10/10/2007, -4/+54Let's see. So basically, the site has a horrible logo designed by a 6-year old. Employees of the company probably thought, "hey, let's have a really weird/crappy logo to draw attention to our website and possibly generate more sales." And now, surely enough, this made it to the main page of Digg with thousands of people going to the website. Sounds like the submitter is one of the people the company was targeting with the logo. It worked perfectly.
- joeleslie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15Thus, said logo is opposite of article title.
That said, it does look REALLY out of place on their homepage: http://www.checkpoint.com/- profOblivion, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10YOU'RE ONE OF THEM!!
- joeleslie, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2Excuse me?
- profOblivion, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2^^ (we talk about how this a ploy to get traffic on their website... and then you post the website; not accusing you of anything really, but it's ironic at least :P)
- lintmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It wouldn't look so out of place if not for the horrid square pink background.
- profOblivion, on 10/10/2007, -1/+10YOU'RE ONE OF THEM!!
- Philluminati, on 10/10/2007, -5/+5Yeah...People shouldn't judge a product based on a logo but let the code speak for itself. (which is actually does in Checkpoint)
Who would spend hundreds of pounds based a product solely on the logo?
cough *apple fanboys* cough- IrwinFletcher, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2As do Windows Fanboys, Linux fanboys, Nike fanboys, BMW fanboys, Triumph fanboys... the list goes on and on and on.
- MoneyShot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Checkpoint makes some very high-dollar corporate security products. It's pretty unlikely that they're trolling for sales leads on Digg.
- lilbitmoreslyk, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2hate to say this but, i know for a fact clients will take a look at the presentation of another companies website and prejudge them based on that. If they can't even have a graceful looking logo how are they going to make a robust software solution? - Is what some companies/clients may think.
- joeleslie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+15Thus, said logo is opposite of article title.
- SilkSteel, on 10/10/2007, -6/+1Figures its pink.
- trejrco, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It's not pink, it's light'ish red

- trejrco, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It's not pink, it's light'ish red
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -5/+21Man, I thought this was a joke of some sort, but it's actually featured on every page on their website:
http://www.checkpoint.com/ - bvinson, on 10/10/2007, -8/+2I hate checkpoint with a passion. It is by-far the most expensive crazy inconstant, nonstandard following firewall on the planet. Instead of following the majority of networking standards out there they just go off an do their own thing.
- radicldreamer, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20Why is this even considered news? It has been the checkpoint logo for as long as i can remember. It has nothing to do with the quality of their products, and when its small and on devices you really cant tell it was drawn by a kid
- CDoug03, on 10/10/2007, -9/+4This is a total violation of every major child labor statute ever created.
- pixelgecko, on 10/10/2007, -7/+1yeah i've seen that here on digg before. see here:
http://digg.com/offbeat_news/The_two_worst_company_logos_ever - Aleks, on 10/10/2007, -4/+46LOL - Doesn't compare to the Olympics 2012 logo.
http://itn.co.uk/news/storydb4a8d0e9c92fa954c562b7c4ac51d89.jpg- robisfunky, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4 WTF???? I hadn't seen that Olympic logo yet. Eh gad, man!
- ascotan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Not quite a fair comparison. I'm sure the 6-year old was sober when she designed HER logo.
- n1kon82, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Good god man. It pains me to think that that logo cost £400,000 (not sure about that, just a quick Google search). Even if less, wow. Just, wow.
- larsoncc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It's like the bastard child of the KISS logo and the Corn Pops logo!
- CrudeDarkness, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0OMG, It's like some one vomited French fries and orange juice all over it.
- kjm16, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Its a handjob, that's why it's crappy.
- darkphan, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11We all know that the design of a logo has an impact on the functionality of an application.
- mishsquish, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2If I was on the team, I'd probably dislike the CEO for it. But It's concealed pretty well on the website.
- strictnein, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4What are you talking about? It's on every single page on the website!
- joeleslie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4The top of every page is "pretty well concealed"?
- mishsquish, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Hang on, let me find the dictionary definition of sarcasm, brb.
- Sanitarium, on 10/10/2007, -2/+37CP_ltd_vertical_Pos.jpg
Heh, it says POS in the filename.. - serpentsky, on 10/10/2007, -12/+6Anyone who would put anything in the hands of a child, of all things, is a moron and therefore, can not be trusted. I bet this guy has a "proud parent" sticker on his car and thinks it's "cute" that his precious snowflake did this drawing. It's not.
- madcat1212, on 10/10/2007, -1/+7wow I really hope you arn't a parent or your child will end up being touched by uncle Pete due to your neglect !
- 11Monkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2You are a douche bag.
- Metasquares, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It is precisely this attitude that causes children to believe that they cannot accomplish things while they're still young.
There's *nothing* that says one must be a certain age to produce skillful works. Children have very flexible minds (learning a first language in particular is quite a feat, yet they can pull it off better than we can!); all they lack is experience.
- Etchii, on 10/10/2007, -3/+6Don't judge a book by its cover.

- DanarchyX, on 10/10/2007, -2/+5Should be a great candidate for the 2012 Olympics.
- shayben, on 10/10/2007, -5/+1Well i think its just lovely.
Seriously now, checkpoint sucks (ZoneAlarm pfw withstanding). - linuxdaemon, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3As technology logos go, I have always had a problem with Avocent's logo.
http://www.avocent.com/web/en.nsf/AttachmentsByTitle/topLogo.jpg/$FILE/topLogo.jpg
On the surface it looks like a cool enough logo, but everyone I have directed to it have seen something else. I'll leave it at that and see what people on Digg see in the logo :)- plaing, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1that, my friend, is a uterus, with a little spermy pod attempting to penetrate its defenses!
- Ryosen, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Fluffy Little Clouds?
- ipxodi, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9a fat woman's ass in a thong poopin out something red....?
- pault107, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Damn, it's an arse wearing a g-string - just about to be penetrated.
- Auto, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2A woman's vag during her period.
- protogenxl, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6What about the Lucent Coffee Stain?
- zoom1928, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's a bloody donut, not a stain.
- zoom1928, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's a bloody donut, not a stain.
- TheHayze, on 10/10/2007, -4/+10Actually, I think it's pretty creative.
- avenu420, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2I was just going to tweak the graphics and then bring over the sound effects from the last level...
- spyseetuna, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Reference to that video game college ad? Heh.
- skyfox2k, on 10/10/2007, -1/+136No way the worst.
Check out THIS logo: http://www.daniel-schaller.net/photolog/images/misc/APCLogo.jpg- jankind, on 10/10/2007, -0/+12Oh man, yeah that is bad.
- Keitosha, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11Arlington Pedophile Center....... -_-o
- againes, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1hahahaha that logo is awful
- DCUK, on 10/10/2007, -4/+12When considering security the last thing I think about is the logo
- kirab, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0Yeah well, it's still fun to make fun
- mateo60, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9I trust security guys with bad design skills.
- equallyunequal, on 10/10/2007, -9/+1The Buffalo Sabres' logo is 40x worse than that.
http://sportslogos.net/logo.php?lo=6elec248g0248fybjjx0- profOblivion, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This guy reviews really bad minor league logos, and so far, this is the worst:
http://www.bushleaguefactor.com/teams/mus.asp- yzerman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Yeah that town is right down the street from us and I always thought their logo sucked.
Funny thing is they won their league playoffs like 4 or 5 years in a row lol.
I guess a sucky logo doesn't make a sucky team.
- yzerman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Yeah that town is right down the street from us and I always thought their logo sucked.
- yzerman, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0I personally like the sabers logo, but to each their own.
- profOblivion, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This guy reviews really bad minor league logos, and so far, this is the worst:
- f00xx0riz3r, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7I think its quite nice, the graph on the screen symbolizes a network with nodes (implying that they have a education, opposite to the story submitter). Also the keyboard seems to be connected to the graph with colored buttons.
The background color and the shapes of the keyboard seems weird though. Definitely seen worse logos.. including some done by myself. - guymal, on 10/10/2007, -3/+11The logo was actually created by the CEO more than 10 years ago, not by his daughter (he doesn't even have a daughter). I agree the logo sucks but Check Point's products are great.
- Unlegend, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30What a jerk, blaming that monstrosity on his daughter. You know he created that himself.
- Iamnotwhoiam, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Speaking as a grand father who has grand children that age, I think it is pretty damned decent, and a smart business decision on her fathers part. Just look how much money he saved the company by not having to spend untold amounts of money on some overpriced graphics designer.
- davidsetagaya, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1what....you think Checkpoint doesn't have an in-house guy? how pissed would you be if you were him?
- jet2112, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Speaking AS a "graphics designer" I can say that this was NOT a smart decision. There is a reason why you pay designers "untold amounts of money" to come up with a logo that is not the laughing stock of the industry. Professionally done graphics are something that could make or break a business .
- Nurjle, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Of course, 'cause you can just reel off name after name of all those successful enterprises that saved all that wasted money by skipping professional graphic design, yeah? Ooh, actually, here's a challenge: name one. And you can't even include Checkpoint, because their website sure wasn't put together by a six-year old.
- rinkjustice, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I agree Iamnotwhoiam, and look at the free publicity they're getting too! Genius (and no, I'm not being sarcastic).
- jtb4, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Untold amounts of money? Corporate logos aren't THAT damn expensive. Plus you get the logo in all kinds of formats and sizes, suitable for print, web, billboard, etc. This logo is a shame.
- iomatic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Fine. Next time you ask for a plumber for a busted pipe, I'll send my six-year-old.
- davidsetagaya, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6ban superlatives on digg please......whatever people think is the newest, worst, best, greatest, smallest, biggest, or most expensive thing out there....probably isn't....and if it is now, it won't be for long....get over it people
- bryanyeager, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0at least it uses helvetica
- wirehead, on 10/10/2007, -1/+0helvetica ftw
- airtran, on 10/10/2007, -3/+3I bet she created that in MS Paint.
- doncarajo, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4I think if you took away the stuff on "the screen" and the dots representing the keys it would be a cool logo.
- StickyShoez, on 10/10/2007, -4/+4Almost as bad as the 2012 olympic logo. Seriously....
- zongamin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4can't belive no one else thought of that before you... oh wait - look every ***** already has.
- radial, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Yes I'd trust this company just as much as I'd trust some no name company that paid big bucks to a pro logo design place to create them a logo because they think a the logo design directly relates to the quality of their work.
- srusso, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6funny we use them... they are good VPN solution...
- bwhite, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1We do too .. and we are definitely one of the top 100 largest companies US. It's a bitch to uninstall though.
- happynarutoguy, on 10/10/2007, -7/+3I think the guy loves his daughter a LITTLE too much.
- res2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2no such thing
- icsbase, on 10/10/2007, -4/+11There are pretty much worse logos out there than this.. for example here is one http://fourtwentydesign.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2006/07/bad-logo-1.gif
- Shandooga, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wow. That was really terrible. It looked like someone was using the Empire State building as a suppository.
- zongamin, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2you mean one of the ones in the b3ta thing thats already posted - congratulations.
- demonstro, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Isn't that the logo for bigredbutt.com?
