- pirana0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19And those 10 are:

http://binarybonsai.com - Ramtech, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3is this... SPAM!?!?!?>....
i think it is.. i come here for news.. not ads
buried.. - shinynew, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2"Unphotographable is now a podcast, too. Thanks for reading (and now listening) to Unphotographable over the years."
- resplence, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2@shinynew:
Yeah. A podcast about purely visual stuff. Awesome. - RoboPimp3000, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8That unphotographable site goes from interesting to utterly pointless in about .5 seconds.
- ScottTheRobot, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2'minimalist' is already an adjective. f.
furthermore, most of those sites bloated with text are hardly minimalist. text garbage everywhere!
this link is ridiculoustic!
- pirana0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+19And those 10 are:
- geekchic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4The irony is - that blog is itself, not that minimalist.
I think the best minimalist blog is over at http://www.seobook.com/ - none of those tag clouds and "whos online" to clutter things up.- molecule, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1irony += "'minimalistic' is megatacular!"
/ftw
- molecule, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1irony += "'minimalistic' is megatacular!"
- sidp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Most of those blogs aren't minimalist whatsoever. Not using large images or strong colors doesn't mean anything when you have text all over the place. I do agree that most of them are good-looking, though.
- psylence, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13You lost me at "blogs worth checking out"
- Shawnosaurus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Top 10 lists in general usually suffer from being very subjective, but this is just ridiculous. It should be called, "Here are 10 blogs that I personally like, but that you might not, but anyways they don't have a lot of images which I think is important, you know?" Hell, some of these aren't even remotely "minimalist" anyways being so slathered in ads and social networking links.
webreakstuff has an awesome background though =) - guyinthechair, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Why isn't maddox's blog on there? He's way better than these losers. http://maddox.xmission.net or http://thebestpageintheuniverse.net
- opensourcemaven, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4because maddox's blog isn't minimalist, it's just ugly. don't get me wrong i love reading his stuff, but the blog has no aesthetic appeal whatsoever.
- philovivero, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Um. http://girlsarepretty.com isn't on the list?! And missing Maddox?!?! Riii-ight. I think I'll just go ahead and skip digging this one.
- gamesector, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3This list is terrible, I wouldn't count some of them as minimalistic at all; http://davidseah.com for example.
- jackhole, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3A list by a blogger blogging about blogs that blog when blogged blog blog blogblogblog?
How could that be bad?
- jackhole, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3A list by a blogger blogging about blogs that blog when blogged blog blog blogblogblog?
- morcheeba, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Don't forget waxy: http://waxy.org/links/
- groperdude, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0***** this list. Does anyone who has anything worthwhile to do even read a BLOG??
Who reads loser blogs anyway? And there's 50 million of them? People have a lot of ***** spare time to be talking about stuff that no one cares about except maybe 2 other people.
And yeah, i have a lot of ***** spare time too. All spent here. - YesWoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3http://www.errr.com/ and http://subtraction.com/ are better examples of minimalist blog design in my opinion.
- pacificdave, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1http://www.forgetfoo.com/
- spyrochaete, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Lame. http://www.purple.com is the best minimalist site on the internet.
- Adenosine, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Doesn't get much more minimal than 'Indexed,' and it doesn't get any better (IMHO)
http://indexed.blogspot.com/
It was rated best blog a while back on some site with lists - WombatRising, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I'll throw this one into the ring: http://thisspaceblank.blogspot.com/
- TomRemixed, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Minimalistic blogs to me sound very... uh... how do you say... boring.
- cowabuse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wow, minimalist layouts are awesome. It just brings out the content so much better.
- svirsk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I think the hard thing in minimalism is to find the border between boring and minimalism and stay on the right side,
here is my attempt: http://www.svirsk.org/blog - weiran, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This list is utter crap. A lot of those are minimalist only compared to MySpace. DaringFireball is the only true minimalist one in there.
- OAKsider, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And the only one worth bookmarking. DF (John Gruber) is surprisingly interesting every single day.
- philrenaud, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1uhhh
let's try
The Blogfather, Tony Piece. - dylanparry, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Minimalist is often a synonym for bland or boring, and Blog is usually a synonym for crap. So what the article really means is "10 boring, bland Craps not Worth Checking Out". Says it all really ;)
