- wavesmachine, on 11/16/2009, -4/+781The original one looks mad cool. We should go back to that one.
- idc5, on 11/16/2009, -2/+442Forget about the design, the first one had cocaine in it.
- Polycarp87, on 11/16/2009, -6/+278It also had lots of cocaine in it- for sure a hell of a lot more exciting than a caffeine buzz.
- Quaestor44, on 11/16/2009, -0/+223all the more reason to bring it back
- Imissnaptime, on 11/16/2009, -0/+182Totally loving the cork in the first one. Coke, aged to perfection.
- LPfmAAF, on 11/16/2009, -13/+193I don't care how they change the bottle, I'm just glad they've kept the good ol' classic Coca Cola logo. Unlike Pepsi...
- michirican123, on 11/16/2009, -0/+119The first one looks like a delicacy, like some type of expensive brandy.
- Sraser, on 11/16/2009, -3/+119The first one is pretty friggin cool, however I am a big sucker for the current bottles.
It's always better when you drink it from a glass. - uminchu, on 11/16/2009, -1/+100dugg for being in one pic and not on six seperate pages!
- TheCrazyAsian, on 11/16/2009, -1/+98personally, i dont see the point in that. The glass bottle is great just for that reason. pop simply tastes better coming out of the glass and not out of an aluminum container (which can supposedly taint the taste)

- redbarchettayyz, on 11/16/2009, -1/+64Dugg for using cork and Coke in the same comment, and also mentioning *****
- Polycarp87, on 11/16/2009, -14/+74Let's just work on legalizing pot for now.
- tgc1, on 11/16/2009, -2/+58I used to like Pepsi more than Coke. But now I don't give a *****. Either way the new Pepsi logo is retarded.
- lewystud, on 11/16/2009, -3/+57Coca Cola is still the only company that has a license to import Coca leaves - its still used in todays recipe - look it up
- Vindexus, on 11/16/2009, -2/+47I hear tell it's a helluva soda. Is this true?
- Tarkaan, on 11/16/2009, -3/+45Dugg for using the words cork and Coke in the same comment, and not once mentioning *****.
- rolf, on 11/16/2009, -0/+40On aluminum cans inside, there is a very thin plastic lining (sprayed on) so the aluminum doesn't get oxidized or react with the soda. In that sense, it's not much different than a 2 liter plastic bottle (I prefer glass as well)
http://www.stevespanglerscience.com/experiment/000 ... - Barkingshins, on 11/16/2009, -1/+41I did. According to Snopes, by 1902 there was as little as 1/400th of a grain of cocaine in each ounce of syrup. Coca-Cola became entirely cocaine-free in 1929.
The current Coca-Cola formula, for flavoring reasons, uses a cocaine-free coca-leaf extract made by Stepan Company. It is the Stepan Company that is the only federally authorized importer/processor of the coca plant in the US. - bigbadgoat, on 11/16/2009, -4/+41yeah, king of suck.
- Dingly, on 11/16/2009, -27/+64I think my favorite coke bottle of all time was the aluminum ones
http://www.classymommy.com/blog/uploaded_images/Co ... - Samohtneas, on 11/16/2009, -0/+36I tell this to people every day and they say I'm a liar. They refuse to look it up, but still say it's BS. It might be decocanized, but is nevertheless coca leaf.
It's the reason I like CC over Pepsi. Truly one of a kind, authentic flavoring! And it also stifles my mad addiction to cocaine. - diggdong, on 11/16/2009, -2/+32Well, at least it is not a list.
- consonance, on 11/16/2009, -2/+30Dugg for using cork, Coke, and ***** in the same comment, and not once mentioning crocks.
- LoveAndSeagulls, on 11/16/2009, -0/+26Anything can be modified into a bong.
Anything. - lewystud, on 11/16/2009, -1/+27With a twist cap and a new logo the oldest one would actually look ultra-modern - coke are you listening?
- giid, on 11/16/2009, -0/+25They get smaller because the new ones are further in the background.
- Wubsy, on 11/16/2009, -0/+24Glass>Aluminum>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Plastic

- paulvq, on 11/16/2009, -2/+23Not necessarily. They make American Coke with corn syrup in glass bottles as well.
- TnTBass, on 11/16/2009, -1/+22Dugg for using cork, Coke, *****, crocks and clocks in the same comment, and not once mentioning cloaks.

- vsujohn2, on 11/16/2009, -2/+22Cocaine is a hell of a drug
- fatboyigloo, on 11/16/2009, -1/+20Dugg for using cork, Coke, *****, crocks, clocks and cloaks in the same comment, and also mentioning cooks.
- undershirt, on 11/16/2009, -3/+22The glass coke bottles are the ones that are made in Mexico where there aren't corn subsidies. So they use real cane sugar instead of corn syrup because it's cheaper, hence the better taste. This is the reason that's circulating around anyway..
- LordStryker, on 11/16/2009, -2/+20spelling fail
- kashk5, on 11/16/2009, -2/+19It's because Coke from outside this country uses real sugar and not corn syrup. Tastes better and is healthier.
- MEbuDDy6, on 11/16/2009, -1/+18Coke in glass bottle w/sugar = tasty
- svivian, on 11/16/2009, -0/+17Wait, doesn't that PROVE that the Coca Cola logo HASN'T changed over the years? The first one is not a logo, it's just some text from a newspaper. Aside from a few tiny refinements, it just goes black-on-white -> white-on-red. (I haven't ever seen the red-on-white one on any actual products).
Whereas the Pepsi one goes red-on-white -> majorly refined red-on-white -> complete font change, text in circle logo (blue-on-white) -> text above circle logo -> white-on-blue -> new lowercase logo. - redbarchettayyz, on 11/16/2009, -1/+18So flippin rad
- biofusion, on 11/16/2009, -3/+20What is so unsettling about the new Pepsi logo? Can anyone please explain this to me?
- oyflaaaayvin, on 11/16/2009, -1/+17Digg me down, but I liked Crystal Pepsi.
- rolf, on 11/16/2009, -1/+16It's the HFCS vs sugar.
- combatchuck, on 11/16/2009, -1/+16Dugg for *****.
- yacks, on 11/16/2009, -1/+15and if they do, can you be arrested?
- SmilinGoat, on 11/16/2009, -2/+16the original is a really cool/almost modern looking design.
- cruiserman, on 11/16/2009, -1/+14hee hee, he said taint.
