Small truck alternative

fastlane.gmblogs.com — With the need to meet CAFE fuel ratings and answer what I feel is a need for those of us who need a fuel efficient truck but not a half ton pick-up, why can't GM provide an El Camino type vehicle based on the small Chevy HHR? It would fill a need for us city folks who need to move things occasionally and would make more sense than a Pontiac G8 pu.
