- NightRush, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Hmm, Canadian content.. Shopping carts.. ITS BUBBLES!
- taforever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8this guy is a pimp. He is taking trash out of rivers and making it into kick ass art. Does it get any better? Maybe if he added high powered laz0rz to the bird's eyes and used them for home security....
- NightRush, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Uhh, if your american, just press the little Green thumbs up and act like you know what I'm talking about..
- kiwifish, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Okay, I'm not even American and I just have to step in on this one.
* Total annual US military budget (including Iraq & Afghanistan which continue to be funded through 'emergency spending bills') - $560 Billion dollars
* Total annual US national endowment for the arts budget (including cost of laundromat for some British guy wading into streams to get supermarket trolleys which continues to be funded through 'his dear old mum') - $120 Million dollars.
Yes. That's right, you could add a whopping 0.02% to your military budget by completely removing all support for any of that poncy 'art' stuff. Quick! To the galleries! we've got statues to melt down for body armour! - procdaddy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5If you don't know what shopping carts + Bubbles is all about, you need to know. Trailer Park Boys for the win!

- silverSurfer84, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3These so called "artists" need to be shut down! They are stealing property from Bubbles, Ricky and Julian and if they are not stopped Im gonna tell Mr. Lahey and Randy!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8Or, stop taking money from people and let them invest it in the economy.
Maybe I'm just a crazy Libertarian, but my idea sounds a bit better. - moosebumps, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'd love to see him sculpt a giant Samsquanch!
- flippedcracker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3the artists website: http://www.drew.it
- josegutz, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3What they didn't show...

- PaddyTheChump, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Trevor, smokes, let's go.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I love the wireframe look of animals it could achieve.
- digger247, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Betcha he could make a living off selling those.
- LtCarter47, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I'd like to see the artist standing in the frame, it's hard to get a sense of scale on all but the last photo.
- mixd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The crayfish thing is by far the best
- Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Oh good, I wasn't the only one who thought "Bubbles" when I read that headline!
- codethief, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Those are fantastic!! I'd love the Osprey one :)
- joshmess, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This makes me think of the MAKE linked chair:
http://www.makezine.com/blog/archive/2006/07/shopping_cart_chair.html - twtmc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This guy doesn't have cats though. He's only like 12 cats away from being totally awsome.
He also probably makes a pretty good living from selling those sculptures. I wouldn't mind having that kiwi in my backyard. - techietec, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Awesome!
- addedmarketing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Great. Well what about Goldbar shopping cart? http://www.goldbar.net/
- NightRush, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Go ***** yourself Mr. Layhee..
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Do you get paid doing this?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -11/+0Its useful to buy our troops better armor?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -24/+3This is the kind of crap we get with wastes of cash like the National Endowment for the Arts.
I have an idea, let's take all the cash that's wasted on "art" like this and use it to do something useful, like buy our troops better armor.

What is Digg?
