Why is this a negative digg? He is getting the word out on a way to help a ton of people who are in desperate need of help. I don't see anything in the Digg TOS restrictions on linking to content housed on your own site/servers. Here is a thought: If you don't like it, don't Digg it - just move along. - shroom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dugg, and added, very cool.

- jdawg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Uhhh.... 1. it's no secret this is me, 2. this is not a promotion of Weblogs, Inc., we made some graphics to help folks who are in need. They are on Brian's personal site and we've raised over $5k so far.
Not sure I get your point. - jakebechtold, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I think everyone should put this on their site. It's the right thing to do.
- Chango_Family, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Did someone run across a list with all the different charities and organizations that are raising money?
Especially local ones in the states affected.
I have doubts reading the very words of the Red Cross that this money would go into this effort if I use the experience of the money they raised for 9-11. Money we send now should go to the people who need it now and not for them to decide. - Ignathius, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0i agree with Chango. i personally, belive Red Cross is a scam. every time theres a disaster, Red Cross begs for donations. yet i hardly ever see any major contribution by Red Cross. personally, i'd rather donate to the Salvation Army.
