- adrian67, on 02/10/2008, -9/+180Absolutely brilliant band. I've got every album they've done on record, cd, and tape. :o)
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -12/+149this is not a Obama/Anonoymous article. what is this doing here
anyways, i love floyd. good ad. - user, on 02/10/2008, -2/+131"All FOURTEEN Pink Floyd studio albums available as DRM-free, high quality 320 kbps MP3s. Also contains exclusive digital artwork."
Pink Floyd rocks! - gonzojeff, on 02/10/2008, -6/+89That is the single most awesome ad I've ever seen on the Internet. Massive kudos to whoever put that together (and I just might buy the box set as a present for my wife too).
- JustFender, on 02/10/2008, -3/+81R.I.P Syd
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -1/+53Best band ever IMO but I'm biased. This is an awesome site for what looks like a must have collection. I already own all these, but I might splurge for this set anyways. DSotM is the best rock album ever. If you listen to it and skip any tracks i will kick you in the nuts.
- SebK666, on 02/10/2008, -0/+47♪♫ Remember when you were young... You shone like the sun... ♪♫ (RIP Syd Barett)
Amazing Band. =) - noisey, on 02/10/2008, -0/+45I think the biggest lure for getting this is the real box set, not the digital downloads. The CD's are mini-replica's of the original vinyl with all the original album artwork and inserts. It would be very nostalgic to just look through this set. At least for me it would, because I'm old, and I remember looking at the Wall album cover for hours.
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -1/+41This made me nostalgic for the days of albums and liner notes...
- eqisow, on 02/10/2008, -3/+42Try a closed fist.
- mareacaspica, on 02/10/2008, -4/+39pink floyd is pure brilliance! I can count bands that are as great as them on my left hand fingers
- Scarfy, on 02/10/2008, -0/+34Whoa, whoa, whoa... don't like Pink Floyd?
You're missing out. - mattmoto, on 02/10/2008, -1/+35Get Meddle, if only for One of These Days and Echoes. Incredible.
- rreadysetno, on 02/10/2008, -4/+35You should get that seen to.
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -4/+34Does it come with the Wizard of Oz?
- Vektuz, on 02/10/2008, -4/+34I dont even like pink floyd and this thing made me listen to every sample they had.
They even made the "rainbow" strands act like a spectrum analysis - mffnike, on 02/10/2008, -2/+30I preordered this from Amazon shortly after Xmas as soon as I heard about it. Hands down, this is the best band of all time. Although I'm only 24, even I can recognize how much greater they are than virtually all of the terrible "bands" that crank out music today.
- Jonmad17, on 02/10/2008, -0/+28That's a very attractive looking box set.Too bad I already own most of their albums.
- shayne8181, on 02/10/2008, -5/+30then you must be 12 years old, and you shouldn't even be on digg in the first place because you ruin it by digging stories about Brittney Spears and burying stories of relevance that you claim to be "boring" or "whack". So do us a favor and get off the net and go catch Hanah Montana in 3D
- beeman, on 02/10/2008, -0/+24That is OK, because you are supposed to do something at work... :)
- Adrnshw6, on 02/10/2008, -3/+26lol
- Phil1ip123, on 02/10/2008, -1/+23Simply amazing.
Anything with Floyd gets an automatic digg from me. - T8erT0T, on 02/10/2008, -2/+22Download --> $194.58
Physical Cd Set --> $272.42 - Carsonauto, on 02/10/2008, -3/+23Pink Floyd is an automatic digg.
- IMA_Sellout, on 02/10/2008, -0/+20Man, I wish this thing wasn't going $250...
- ScottMitchell, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19A lot of their music, IMO, is best listened to from the start of the album to the end, esp. Dark Side of the Moon. The album is like a book, and listening to one song by itself is like just reading a random chapter in a novel.
- MalDON, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19And that is why I purchased them. Take note RIAA, drm free = my money.
- ratheunknown, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19A big plus its DRM-Free!!!!
- rikwakefield, on 02/10/2008, -0/+18They can both look good.
- MuffinPatrol, on 02/10/2008, -0/+18True but Pink Floyd is and will remain the only band I will actually go out and buy the cd for.
- homersaysdoh, on 02/10/2008, -0/+18God I miss the days of coming home from the record store staring at my new albums. Admiring every inch of the artwork, front, back, liner notes, and lyric sheets.
- Kyouto, on 02/10/2008, -3/+21Maybe he doesn't have fingers on his left hand.....
- shagg187, on 02/10/2008, -2/+19I'm pretty sure someone is nailing her to Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part II to IX). Part I wasn't enough for her... 3:55? Damn, you blew real fast!
- mehss, on 02/10/2008, -0/+16Use a less ***** browser.
- newbill123, on 02/10/2008, -2/+17It's the Pink Floyd albums which are cool, not the ad. If the same type of ad were advertising Britney Spears' albums would you be offering massive kudos to the ad designers?
- dankenstein, on 02/10/2008, -0/+15Wow you can even check out the album art and listen to parts of songs from the albums, this is really great idea. The rainbow bands even move to the music.
- obliviousfool, on 02/10/2008, -0/+15This looks much better than that lousy first boxed set which didn't include all of the albums!
How could you leave out Atom Heart Mother for crying out loud?! - rolfeman02, on 02/10/2008, -1/+16I'm sorry to hear you lost your thumb and three fingers on your left hand.
- Gryffydd, on 02/10/2008, -0/+14Ah yes, back when music didn't suck.
- bitspace, on 02/10/2008, -1/+15Hmm, I'm using AdBlock too, and saw the entire site just fine.
- enterneo, on 02/10/2008, -3/+17try watching it on NOT SO FAST internet connection :-|
- Scarfy, on 02/10/2008, -0/+14Echoes is the greatest song ever written.
Dark Side of the Moon takes number 1 for best album ever, IMO. - Waskonator, on 02/10/2008, -3/+17Flash doesn't do anything when I'm at work.
:-( - screensnot, on 02/10/2008, -0/+14Or thought the joke missed.
- lolwutpear, on 02/10/2008, -7/+21i lol'd
- fightforyou, on 02/10/2008, -0/+13You don't understand. The designer used Pink Floyd's logo in a creative way, giving it a uniqueness, making it its own. That's why it deserves massive kudos.
- fyngyrz, on 02/10/2008, -0/+13The answer is YES.
- MalDON, on 02/10/2008, -3/+15WHAT?! Pink Floyd should be a required study in school.
- inactive, on 02/10/2008, -0/+11Shine on Syd.
