Pink Floyd Album Box set
pinkfloyd.co.uk — This is actually an ad of Pink Floyd albums in the official website. I have never seen a more breath taking presentation. If all advertisements were done like this, I might actually start reading them (I am ad-hater no 1)

- adrian67, on 02/10/2008, -9/+180Absolutely brilliant band. I've got every album they've done on record, cd, and tape. :o)
- unreg, on 02/10/2008, -47/+5Sorry, they really haven't done anything good since "See Emily Play"
Did hear they did a movie or something.- unreg, on 02/10/2008, -9/+5Sigh.......Sarcasm is lost on the Digg masses
- MatchStick, on 02/11/2008, -1/+5word
- bitcloud, on 02/11/2008, -1/+5wow! You just gave me an epiphany...
every comment on digg that at first glance seems stupid, intolerant, wrong etc can be read as sarcasm... suddenly I'm surrounded by hilarious luminaries! - sleepwalkers, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2Don't blame the "Digg masses" just because your sarcastic comment isn't funny or witty.
- pahool, on 02/10/2008, -1/+4"She's often inclined to borrow somebody's dreams 'til tomorrow"
One of the best lines ever...- krebcycle, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2Julia Dream is better
Will the scaly armadillo
Find me where I'm hiding
- krebcycle, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2Julia Dream is better
- unreg, on 02/10/2008, -9/+5Sigh.......Sarcasm is lost on the Digg masses
- Disneyisevil50, on 02/10/2008, -5/+8I've got all the famous ones (dark side of the moon, animals, the wall, wish you were here) and A Momentary Lapse of Reason, I haven't really listened to any of the other ones.
- mattmoto, on 02/10/2008, -1/+34Get Meddle, if only for One of These Days and Echoes. Incredible.
- Scarfy, on 02/10/2008, -0/+13Echoes is the greatest song ever written.
Dark Side of the Moon takes number 1 for best album ever, IMO.- sabach, on 02/10/2008, -0/+11Back in '73 my buddy says "Hey you've got to hear this" and puts on an 8 track of Meddle queued up to Echoes, so that's the very first Pink Floyd song I ever heard. Fast forward to '86 and I finally got tickets to see them. The lights go down and the opening notes of Echoes ring out. It was kind of an epiphany. Wish You Were Here is still my favorite.
- hiPpymIck, on 02/10/2008, -0/+3"one of these days...
im gonna cut you into little pieces"
i only found that bit of the lyrics from the Live at Pompeii set
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ljT64SkuPqQ - crash331, on 02/11/2008, -1/+2Hell no, get Piper at the Gates.
Syd Barrett's ***** was amazing and trippy.- SteveMax, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1Quite possibly the best psychedelic rock album ever. Try as you may, you can't beat a rubber duck solo.
- Scarfy, on 02/10/2008, -0/+13Echoes is the greatest song ever written.
- pahool, on 02/10/2008, -0/+3Some of Floyd's best work is pre-Meddle
- Matt174e, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1Some... but the lunatic lost his head and went into seclusion. Gilmore is Floyd's best work IMO, after Meddle. Meddle was alright... Echoes is brilliant though, worthy of being it's own album (not to mention long enough to be it's own album).
- sonofabeast, on 02/11/2008, -2/+1I'll bet that you smell like patchouli and B.O.
- narcofiche, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1Meddle, Saucerful of Secrets, Piper at the Gates of Dawn. The soundtrack to More, Darkside of the Moon. This band is brilliant. With Syd and without.
- krebcycle, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1Relics is their best album, but I like all their stuff. Barrett was a genius, he kept them edgy. Once Waters left the only thing the band had left was Gilmore's melodic riffs with no substance behind them.
- mattmoto, on 02/10/2008, -1/+34Get Meddle, if only for One of These Days and Echoes. Incredible.
- Nitesmoke, on 02/10/2008, -1/+53Best band ever IMO but I'm biased. This is an awesome site for what looks like a must have collection. I already own all these, but I might splurge for this set anyways. DSotM is the best rock album ever. If you listen to it and skip any tracks i will kick you in the nuts.
- santaliqueur, on 02/10/2008, -8/+11I love Dark Side, but best rock album ever? Gotta be Quadrophenia.
- Scarfy, on 02/10/2008, -7/+4Wrong.
- paulisnotdead, on 02/10/2008, -2/+3it's gotta be a toss up between Darkside, Quadrophenia, and Sgt. Peppers
- artofwar420, on 02/10/2008, -2/+1I can't decide! I won't like them all.
- artofwar420, on 02/10/2008, -0/+9NOO, I meant I LIKE THEM ALL, don't take my e-penis!
- Nitesmoke, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2I agree with all those, I love Quadrophenia and especially Sgt.Pepper's but if I could only have 1 album on a desert island and somehow could play it, it'd be Dark Side all the way.
- krebcycle, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2both rubber soul and revolver are better than sgt. peppers
- DeadSkinMask, on 02/10/2008, -6/+3I Vote: Quadrophenia, Animals, Sgt.Peppers/ Abbey Road (tie) & Layla & Other Assorted Love Songs.
- Fraff5, on 02/10/2008, -0/+4You sir, are so right. Quadrophenia tops everything else.
- djbon2112, on 02/10/2008, -0/+8I vote Dark Side followed by 2112 (Rush), followed by Fragile (Yes)
- Jones82, on 02/10/2008, -2/+6Dugg for admitting bias
- crash331, on 02/11/2008, -2/+2I would get it, but $300 in USD? No thanks.
- santaliqueur, on 02/10/2008, -8/+11I love Dark Side, but best rock album ever? Gotta be Quadrophenia.
- franklymister, on 02/10/2008, -1/+9No 8-tracks?
- obliviousfool, on 02/10/2008, -0/+15This looks much better than that lousy first boxed set which didn't include all of the albums!
How could you leave out Atom Heart Mother for crying out loud?! - 10SpeedMike, on 02/10/2008, -3/+7You have the original Piper and Division Bell on vinyl!? Oh I envy you.
- Scarfy, on 02/10/2008, -0/+4You even have Apples and Oranges?
That would be impressive. - metric7, on 02/10/2008, -1/+8Am I the only one who thought they were actually selling vinyl records? I would buy that, not this.
- MoClippa, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1I thought it was the vinyls as well... I'd love to get a nice Steve Rickter Half Speed master vinyl box set.
- betobeto, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1I guess you mean Stan Ricker - http://www.rickermaster.com/
Vinyl FTW.
- betobeto, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1I guess you mean Stan Ricker - http://www.rickermaster.com/
- MoClippa, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1I thought it was the vinyls as well... I'd love to get a nice Steve Rickter Half Speed master vinyl box set.
- Llanowar, on 02/10/2008, -2/+5Anyone who likes Pink Floyd should check out Porcupine Tree.
- crash331, on 02/11/2008, -1/+1In Absentia owns me.
- goldenratiophi, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2I used to have all the albums, even the compilations like Relics, Works and A Collection of Great Dance Songs. I won't be getting this boxed set, but I'm glad they put correct covers on all of these; especially the original DSotM and The Wall (without writing on the front)l covers.
- pe5t1lence, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1And now, thanks to this boxed set, you can buy them all again!!!
Seriously, bastards won't even tour for us... almost makes me want to say "F- Waters". No, no it does. F Waters. - fartbuttes, on 02/11/2008, -24/+1Pink Floyd is over-rated *****
- mhender, on 02/11/2008, -0/+8Lets take a look at your comments in previous articles: "nigger death" "Lost is gay and you're an idiot for watching it" "why are you fags burying this comment? disney sucks balls and so does eisner"
You sound like a highly intellectual and sophisticated individual. Your name even suggests so.- fartbuttes, on 02/11/2008, -2/+1you win the prize, you have seen through my +2 Veil of Trolling congratulations
- sleepwalkers, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1@fartbuttes: You're a terrible troll. At least be creative with it.
- fartbuttes, on 02/11/2008, -1/+1why, i can do whatever i want ON THE INTERNET LOL !!!!! ^_________________________________^;;
- Impeller, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1You just raised your "Im an asshat" flag a bit higher... redneck *****...
- mhender, on 02/11/2008, -0/+8Lets take a look at your comments in previous articles: "nigger death" "Lost is gay and you're an idiot for watching it" "why are you fags burying this comment? disney sucks balls and so does eisner"
- BabyDaddy1972, on 02/16/2008, -0/+0I'm not gay, but I would totally do Roger Waters....he's my hero!
- unreg, on 02/10/2008, -47/+5Sorry, they really haven't done anything good since "See Emily Play"
- evernerve, on 02/10/2008, -6/+205Amazing website. When used properly, Flash can do wonders!
- Waskonator, on 02/10/2008, -3/+17Flash doesn't do anything when I'm at work.
:-(- beeman, on 02/10/2008, -0/+24That is OK, because you are supposed to do something at work... :)
- bitspace, on 02/10/2008, -1/+6Yes, work is the place from which we digg.
- beeman, on 02/10/2008, -0/+24That is OK, because you are supposed to do something at work... :)
- miken32, on 02/10/2008, -24/+5All Flash did was make me wait 30 seconds before I closed the page to come write this comment. The counter had reached 60 (% I presume) and I wasn't about to wait another 30 seconds to see Roger Waters' aged face! :)
- Inquisition, on 02/10/2008, -1/+7are you an dial-up or something?
- astrotrain, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1you must be on a commodore machine on a 14.4 dial-up... I think the presentation was brilliant....
- enterneo, on 02/10/2008, -3/+17try watching it on NOT SO FAST internet connection :-|
- ryanadc, on 02/10/2008, -0/+6Agreed; Pink Floyd's website has long been really good--I remember several years ago being blown away with how great the design was when they released their "Echoes: The Best of Pink Floyd" set.
- tsunamisteve, on 02/10/2008, -5/+12making your entire site in Flash isn't exactly using Flash properly.
- theblt, on 02/11/2008, -1/+6You obviously can't appreciate the amount of design and development that went into this.
- Gamer2k4, on 02/10/2008, -0/+4It looks nice, sure, but it's not very practical. They should just display the CDs as thumbnail links to pages with information about each of them. That way you'll have increased accessibility and a faster loading time.
- fatlip, on 02/10/2008, -2/+2floyd has never been "practical" -- a "practical" concert would involve only dudes on a stage playing music... have you been to any of their concerts?
yeah didnt think so
- fatlip, on 02/10/2008, -2/+2floyd has never been "practical" -- a "practical" concert would involve only dudes on a stage playing music... have you been to any of their concerts?
- stignordas, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1i appreciate this site being rendered in flash. how else can you experience the animation and instant audio? if it were video it'd be even larger and a worse experience. silverlight? ha!
- Waskonator, on 02/10/2008, -3/+17Flash doesn't do anything when I'm at work.
- mareacaspica, on 02/10/2008, -4/+37pink floyd is pure brilliance! I can count bands that are as great as them on my left hand fingers
- eqisow, on 02/10/2008, -3/+41Try a closed fist.
- Kyouto, on 02/10/2008, -3/+21Maybe he doesn't have fingers on his left hand.....
- iDiggIt42, on 02/10/2008, -5/+13The only other band that I can think of that remotely comes close is The Beatles (granted, they both did different types of music). It's a shame really that modern (last 10 years especially) music sucks so much. I wish artists would stop focusing so much on computer generated noise and "i wanna ***** her" lyrics and start at least trying to reach the depth bands like Pink Floyd did.
- stubear, on 02/10/2008, -5/+0The days of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are long gone and if the trend towards "forcing" artists to bend to the will of P2P leeches then it may never come to pass again.
- TheBEAST205, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2Real bands shouldn't care about music pirating. In the words of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, you can't steal music if it's already been made.
- fatlip, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1i can only name a handful of bands that exploring the edges of music and pushing new boundaries. TMV is one of them.
rx bandits are another =D
- fatlip, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1i can only name a handful of bands that exploring the edges of music and pushing new boundaries. TMV is one of them.
- littlemarcho, on 02/11/2008, -1/+1Dude, it costs money to make art. You wouldn't do it for nothing if that meant you had to live on the street. I mean if you never got paid for making music you would never get true artists creating works of art..
- TheBEAST205, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2Real bands shouldn't care about music pirating. In the words of Omar Rodriguez-Lopez, you can't steal music if it's already been made.
- macbookpromat, on 02/10/2008, -3/+6I can think of another, Rush...
- doyoulikeworms, on 02/10/2008, -2/+10Radiohead
- IronGoldfish, on 02/11/2008, -1/+4Too true. Amnesiac, while it is the musical anti-DSOTM Floyd (extreme dissonance), is an extremely creative experience.
- abhiroop, on 02/11/2008, -6/+1Pink Floyd is great no doubt, but Beatles is on a separate plain, led zeppelin, the doors, queen, and now coldplay has done something with music thats completely different, soft and soulfull yet loud
- sevenslashfour, on 02/11/2008, -0/+7I think you meant "Radiohead" when you said Coldplay. Not that I don't like Coldplay, buuuut...c'mon.
- doyoulikeworms, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2You know how I know you're gay? You like Coldplay.
- AntzNZ, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1They still are making kickass music, it's just not popular. Most branches of the metal genre are still going well, can't say much for anything else though.
- sleepwalkers, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1It's unfair to say that music in the last ten years has sucked. There are plenty of creative individuals making music that you'd enjoy if you liked Pink Floyd. Try listening to some of The Mars Volta's stuff, listen to Radiohead, etc.
- stubear, on 02/10/2008, -5/+0The days of Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are long gone and if the trend towards "forcing" artists to bend to the will of P2P leeches then it may never come to pass again.
- rolfeman02, on 02/10/2008, -1/+16I'm sorry to hear you lost your thumb and three fingers on your left hand.
- ravensncrows, on 02/10/2008, -15/+7oh come on now, zeppelin is surely right next to them, if not a little bit above
- DeadSkinMask, on 02/10/2008, -6/+14not even close.
- bitspace, on 02/10/2008, -5/+4Personally I agree. Looks like several don't, though.
- TheBEAST205, on 02/10/2008, -2/+5Pink Floyd was about 10x creative as Led Zeppelin. They aren't a bad band, it's just that Pink Floyd innovated while Led Zeppelin basically stayed the same.
- erkokite, on 02/11/2008, -0/+3Zep was an excellent band, but that was mainly due to talent, whereas Floyd was extremely talented and artistically/musically brilliant. They're both good in their own ways, but in terms of musical brilliance, I have to give it to Floyd.
- littlemarcho, on 02/11/2008, -8/+12TOOL
- DTJunkie07, on 02/11/2008, -5/+3I don't care who diggs this down but I 100% agree with the above poster. TOOL.
- lolmax, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2It may not be appropriate since they are still so new compared to the classics, but I did think Tool when I opened this thread of replies
- Namesbond, on 02/11/2008, -0/+3TOOL
- goatman93, on 02/11/2008, -1/+2Gabriel-era Genesis is right up there with Pink Floyd.
- eqisow, on 02/10/2008, -3/+41Try a closed fist.
- ssn697, on 02/10/2008, -1/+40This made me nostalgic for the days of albums and liner notes...
- Connormac44, on 02/11/2008, -9/+1That made me nostalgic for poop
- jmkiii, on 02/11/2008, -0/+5You eat ***** for breakfast?
- jmkiii, on 02/11/2008, -0/+4I never knew what to call them. You, sir, have caused me to learn.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liner_notes
- Connormac44, on 02/11/2008, -9/+1That made me nostalgic for poop
- A2007HokieAlumn, on 02/10/2008, -4/+12Excellent
- kimcheefreak17, on 02/10/2008, -36/+5I don't see anything... DAMN YOU ADBLOCK!
- franklymister, on 02/10/2008, -9/+3You can turn it off, you know.
- EmancipatedJake, on 02/10/2008, -7/+2seriously these noobs need to get a life....
- bitspace, on 02/10/2008, -1/+15Hmm, I'm using AdBlock too, and saw the entire site just fine.
- cassaffousth, on 02/21/2008, -0/+1The AdBlock joke is not funny any more.
- franklymister, on 02/10/2008, -9/+3You can turn it off, you know.
- gonzojeff, on 02/10/2008, -6/+89That is the single most awesome ad I've ever seen on the Internet. Massive kudos to whoever put that together (and I just might buy the box set as a present for my wife too).
- aaronm67, on 02/10/2008, -18/+5...the ad takes about 3 minutes to load, and it starts playing music.
It's a cool animation, just not very practical and really annoying.- tdous, on 02/10/2008, -4/+1Fail.
- punx777, on 02/10/2008, -1/+3Go be a BUZZKILL somewhere else. This band has gotten me through so much.
- ryan83189, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1I know it is so weird that an "advertisement" for pink floyd would have any music at all.
- Jones82, on 02/10/2008, -1/+7The flash itself isn't mind blowing or anything, but the box set is cool
- newbill123, on 02/10/2008, -2/+17It's the Pink Floyd albums which are cool, not the ad. If the same type of ad were advertising Britney Spears' albums would you be offering massive kudos to the ad designers?
- fightforyou, on 02/10/2008, -0/+13You don't understand. The designer used Pink Floyd's logo in a creative way, giving it a uniqueness, making it its own. That's why it deserves massive kudos.
- carpespasm, on 02/10/2008, -3/+2meh, it could have been a TV commercial and been nothing too impressive.
- Darkneuros, on 02/10/2008, -1/+0Except that it's interactive and links directly to track lists for each album, additionally you can purchase directly from the web page, the box set or digital download.
- aaronm67, on 02/10/2008, -18/+5...the ad takes about 3 minutes to load, and it starts playing music.
- wildone71, on 02/10/2008, -83/+5Never heard of 'em
- Adrnshw6, on 02/10/2008, -3/+26lol
- shayne8181, on 02/10/2008, -5/+30then you must be 12 years old, and you shouldn't even be on digg in the first place because you ruin it by digging stories about Brittney Spears and burying stories of relevance that you claim to be "boring" or "whack". So do us a favor and get off the net and go catch Hanah Montana in 3D
- Trent0090, on 02/10/2008, -13/+3Damn, I bet it was a joke, but not everyone listens to rock you know. Granted I grew up with them living in a area that had no radio stations, so I grew up with all the 70's rock bands. So of course now I only listen to hardcore gangster rap and European death metal. And for the record I don't owe them ***** for the bands I like now. Given enough time another band would have come along, talent is some of it but a lot of it is timing and cultural attitudes of the time.
- sasquatchcrotch, on 02/10/2008, -2/+3You got trolled.
- crweaks23, on 02/10/2008, -1/+2your post was wack
- theatheist, on 02/10/2008, -1/+11you must be an earth worm then, living under a humungus rock.
- RetardoCrisp, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2You mean humongous, right? =P
- MalDON, on 02/10/2008, -3/+15WHAT?! Pink Floyd should be a required study in school.
- toliseju, on 02/10/2008, -2/+7I was VERY tempted to report you as being offensive.
- NeoSporin, on 02/10/2008, -53/+32Meh, they're just a rip-off of Nsync
- meez, on 02/10/2008, -12/+2Um... What?
- lolwutpear, on 02/10/2008, -7/+21i lol'd
- Apoc04, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1i lol'd to your lol
- rajkalex, on 02/10/2008, -4/+5I think whoever is digging him down missed the joke.
- screensnot, on 02/10/2008, -0/+14Or thought the joke missed.
- shyboy2008, on 02/10/2008, -12/+149this is not a Obama/Anonoymous article. what is this doing here
anyways, i love floyd. good ad. - mffnike, on 02/10/2008, -2/+29I preordered this from Amazon shortly after Xmas as soon as I heard about it. Hands down, this is the best band of all time. Although I'm only 24, even I can recognize how much greater they are than virtually all of the terrible "bands" that crank out music today.
- deadmantalkin, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1couldn't agree more with that. i'm 24 myself, and pink floyd easily beats the crap out of most of the other bands on the scene today. they are a class apart.
- user, on 02/10/2008, -2/+131"All FOURTEEN Pink Floyd studio albums available as DRM-free, high quality 320 kbps MP3s. Also contains exclusive digital artwork."
Pink Floyd rocks!- noisey, on 02/10/2008, -0/+44I think the biggest lure for getting this is the real box set, not the digital downloads. The CD's are mini-replica's of the original vinyl with all the original album artwork and inserts. It would be very nostalgic to just look through this set. At least for me it would, because I'm old, and I remember looking at the Wall album cover for hours.
- fatlip, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1i'm not that old but i remember doing that with my mom's records. this also give the opportunity for youngins to feel a minor portion of the feeling you get when browsing through vinyl collections.
i looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove floyd - doyoulikeworms, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1I love the mini vinyl envelope replica CD cases. My Japanese cut of The Kinks Muswell Hillbillies is pretty awesome, with its little gate fold opening and everything.
- snyperr2s, on 02/11/2008, -1/+1Pinkfloyd on vinyl is the best, if only this set were released on vinyl.
- fatlip, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1i'm not that old but i remember doing that with my mom's records. this also give the opportunity for youngins to feel a minor portion of the feeling you get when browsing through vinyl collections.
- MalDON, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19And that is why I purchased them. Take note RIAA, drm free = my money.
- avihappy, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1amazon mp3 = your money
- hrm114, on 02/10/2008, -1/+4You knew this would have to boil down to DRM at some point. Nevermind the music.
- markperia, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1£139.99 thats around $250. Thats a great price. Do they have this in NA yet?
- jmkiii, on 02/11/2008, -0/+3$280
- tolbs, on 02/11/2008, -1/+1202.83$ according to google (maybe they haven't updated their calculator in a few months)
- tolbs, on 02/11/2008, -0/+2Please digg me down, I used the wrong currency. Either way, i'm still buying this :P.
- noisey, on 02/10/2008, -0/+44I think the biggest lure for getting this is the real box set, not the digital downloads. You're missing out.- Vektuz, on 02/10/2008, -1/+10I dunno. The songs are pretty good but don't hook me like they do some. Maybe I had to be a certain age or in certain circumstances for them to appeal to me and stick. I can still appreciate them, and of course, the website is great.
- ScottMitchell, on 02/10/2008, -0/+19A lot of their music, IMO, is best listened to from the start of the album to the end, esp. Dark Side of the Moon. The album is like a book, and listening to one song by itself is like just reading a random chapter in a novel.
- snyperr2s, on 02/10/2008, -0/+4Agreed with Scott, the only way to listen to pink floyd is from start to finish ,don't judge one album from one song on it, especially with dark side of the moon, on that note, you should watch the wizard of oz dubed to dark side off the moon, its by-far one of the trippiest things ever.

For those who don't already know: For years I heard rumors about Dark Side of the Moon being playable with The Wizard of Oz, almost as if the album was meant to be played to the movie. There were several coincidences that just seem too good to be random. To this day Pink Floyd deny this, but judge for yourself. Ive seen this about 50 times now, and I still find new things when I watch it. For more info check out the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dark_Side_of_the_Rain ... from the wiki:
Although the Dark Side of the Rainbow effect has become famous, its origin is murky. In 1994, fans of Pink Floyd discussed the phenomenon on the Usenet message board alt.music.pink-floyd. At that point, knowledge of who first thought of combining the two works, and why, was already lost.
Since then, several waves of attention rippled through popular culture. In August 1995, a newspaper in Fort Wayne, Indiana, published the first mainstream media article[1] about the synchronicity, citing alt.music.pink-floyd. Soon afterward, several fans began creating websites in which they touted the experience and tried to catalog comprehensively the corresponding moments. A second wave of awareness began in April 1997 when a Boston radio DJ discussed Dark Side of the Rainbow on the air, leading to further mainstream media articles and a segment on MTV news.[2]- bagelmaster, on 02/10/2008, -0/+5My music teacher in high school made us watch this. I'm on a 1.6ghz G5, btw. Not the newest or fastest machine in the world, but pretty average, I'd say. If your ad requires users to have the latest and greatest just to see what you're selling, you've taken the wrong approach. It goes without saying, although I'll say it anyway, your OPINION that there is no such thing as a wrong opinion is clearly proven wrong by my definition AND YOUR OWN. OPINIONS are wrong all the time. Millions of people hold millions of wrong opinions every minute of every day. Or, to say it another way... I do not think that word means what you think it means.
- fictionalOne, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1Opinions are about perception. If in my mind the moon doesn't exist, then in my mind it doesn't. (just an example, not really that dumb). Just as how I believe coke is way better than pepsi, I don't need facts for an opinion, just as stated in the definition. That being said, we may never agree on the definition. Also, I have to say it...Inconceivable! (Just watched that movie yesterday and I love the reference)
- alacrity2005, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1It seems like such an obvious thing, but I guess my opinion on that would be wrong. Dude... opinions are wrong ALL THE TIME. Get a clue would ya. Either way you look at it that is a whole lot of wrong opinions one way or the other.

You don't know what you are talking about. DOWNLOADING MUSIC ONLY HURTS BIG RECORD LABELS WITH A VESTED INTEREST IN THE CURRENT SYSTEM. Everyone else actually benefits from the wider exposure and ability to compete with labels that have billion$ on an even playing field for the first time in decades. Music is changing and this false economy that it is based on is going out the window. - vaskark, on 02/10/2008, -0/+1On the main site there's a link to their Best Of compilation, Echoes. Great flash presentation, plus you can listen to the full songs.
Awesome box set, btw.
Pink Floyd forever. - tritiumpie, on 02/10/2008, -14/+7I lost my virginity while listening to Wish You Were Here. My girlfriend and I, in a rented cabin up in the mountains, Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part 1) playing in the background. I wonder where that girl is now? I hope she's doing well...
- shagg187, on 02/10/2008, -2/+19I'm pretty sure someone is nailing her to Shine On You Crazy Diamond (Part II to IX). Part I wasn't enough for her... 3:55? Damn, you blew real fast!
- AstralAutomaton, on 02/10/2008, -0/+6best. comment. ever.

- SadFootSign, on 02/10/2008, -0/+2I lost my virginity to Ummagumma because I wanted to play Several Species of Small Furry Animals for her, no joke, and let me tell you how hard it is to do the deed while listening to squirrels (or whatever) getting fresh with each other.
- AntzNZ, on 02/11/2008, -0/+1Since we're telling stories about losing virginity.... I'm a virgin.

- say592, on 02/10/2008, -2/+4Its a shame its $200 though. It looks cool (and the ad was awesome) but I already have all of the CDs, so Im not quite ready to spend $200 on some duplicates.
Still is pretty cool. - tehknotte, on 02/10/2008, -2/+5do want
- drmobutu, on 02/10/2008, -28/+2Wow! A blank page! ***** Brilliant! Why didn't somebody think of this before?
Leave it to Pink Floyd to bring Zen to advertising...either that, or Opera won't play the flash...it still makes me want to buy the box set, though...- mehss, on 02/10/2008, -0/+16Use a less ***** browser.
