- kodek, on 10/11/2007, -10/+676The question is: Did we really evolve from a bus stop?
- SLP1111, on 10/11/2007, -15/+407Must be distracting as ***** when your driving by
- SuperiorKarsch, on 10/11/2007, -36/+245Bears turned into monkeys??
- PunkRampant, on 10/11/2007, -40/+230Probably not in America. Christians driving by would have a bitch fit.
- knghtwhosaysni, on 10/11/2007, -0/+140Bigger mirror: http://blublu.org/sito/walls/2007/big/mix001.jpg
- cheez, on 10/11/2007, -7/+140Wow. "We're all the retarded offspring of five monkeys having butt sex with a fish-squirrel. Congratulations."
Thanks, Mrs. Garrison - Vicille, on 10/11/2007, -1/+121It's located in a city called Prato in Tuscany, Italy. The artist is Blu, and he's fantastic. Here's his website: http://blublu.org/
- rattenmaus, on 10/11/2007, -29/+134It's symbolic. I guess you know that monkeys didn't "turn" to humans either. Also all those dinosaurs. It's just some sample-animals that appeared after each other.
- thefandango, on 10/11/2007, -6/+104i liked it. also where was this? i'd like to maybe check it out in person
- amercer, on 10/11/2007, -2/+92Apparently the guy sitting at the bus stop is the most primitive member of the evolutionary chain... ouch.
- shewasjustagrl, on 10/11/2007, -14/+99Yeah, not exactly accurate but still awesome as hell.
- SlvrEagle23, on 10/11/2007, -14/+98No, Frozo, you don't understand...all it takes is one loud Christian having enough of a "bitch-fit" to get something like this taken down.
It might not be a common thread among all Christians (and I think the original statement was aimed at the extremists in particular), but there are some among you who like to ruin it for everyone. To deny that would simply be silly... - jimsterbell, on 10/11/2007, -3/+80Where was this guy in 2003? We needed you dude.
- skyfire1, on 10/11/2007, -3/+78Charizard evolves into satan!
- Ocelot13, on 10/11/2007, -10/+82www.firefox.com
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -7/+68Yeah, where the heck is this located?
- heavyd14, on 10/11/2007, -1/+60Can your camera take a ~300 wide photo from ~30 feet away? Its stitched together.
- penguinofhonor, on 10/11/2007, -5/+63yeah, I'm pretty sure we're not going to turn into polyps either. But, hey. Nuclear warfare can do wonders.
"Animals fight all the time!"
"Not with nuclear arms. You can't hug your children with nuclear arms." - zxzajszxz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+59This is quite amazing. I applaud the artist of this, and hope no one ever destroys his or her work.
- Spaceomega, on 10/11/2007, -19/+69my bible says this is wrong.
- KMye, on 10/11/2007, -12/+61"It's symbolic."
Seriously, can we all try to stop killing good jokes by chastising a sarcastic statement with some completely obvious statement and reply? :p - allenu, on 10/11/2007, -3/+51I think the photographer forgot his ultra-wide angle lens at home.
- heavyd14, on 10/11/2007, -0/+36It has them. So do humans. But we call them breasts/boobs/jugs/cans. There are differences, but they aren't that different.
- Konrad9, on 10/11/2007, -2/+37Everyone knows bears are Godless killing machines.
- kaje, on 10/11/2007, -8/+42What is this _other_ evolution pic that I'm already supposed to know?
- Haphazardness, on 10/11/2007, -4/+37Must not have had a panoramic camera.
- swordphish, on 10/11/2007, -4/+36Firing a machine gun while barefoot and wearing only a helmet and underwear...interesting
- trioxylon, on 10/11/2007, -10/+41Somewhere along the line a dinosaur turned into a dinosaur with a dinosaur on its back eating another dinosaur and then back to one dinosaur again...
- palsss, on 10/11/2007, -3/+31cool, a few more beers and i should understand it
- Gdietz, on 10/11/2007, -2/+30"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein
- MasterFunk, on 10/11/2007, -5/+30Shoot, I was going to comment about how digg must be pro-war when I was buried some -30 deep, but Jimster made a clever replied before I could. Maybe next time...
- penguinofhonor, on 10/11/2007, -1/+26@masterofthevg
You can see that the graffiti is duplicated at a different angle. And they could have made sure to take the photos where the paintings wouldn't get cut. - S1ngular1ty1, on 10/11/2007, -4/+28We all know evolution is nonsense. God created the buss stop.
- Switch22, on 10/11/2007, -0/+22or *****
- Ryosen, on 10/11/2007, -0/+20So, we all descended from a little yellow frog?
- JimDinger, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20New to me and made stop and think of a few things, like who we could just by the push of a button be thrown back in to the stone age and from the nuclear fall out, maybe "de-evolve".
- michaelb1, on 10/11/2007, -0/+19The Bible version is a lot shorter. Its just an empty space and next to it is modern man.
- MyBigRed, on 10/11/2007, -2/+18Apparently it's all about the frog.
- 1807, on 10/11/2007, -2/+16I prefer the South Park version:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=92fq374OOX0 - chanc, on 10/11/2007, -0/+14I love how this was placed in the design section, despite going against the design theory :P
- Dominatus, on 10/11/2007, -10/+23Of interest, the evolution course from right to left up until humans is actually not that far off, that is, single celled, to eventually fish, to eventually land animals to small mammals to humans. The path from the left to right is more reflective of what was the dominate animal at the time I guess.
- yoshihama, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16Clearly an opportunity missed then. If the artist had just had the foresight to evolve it into a nativity scene or Moses with the ten commandments, then both Christians and non-Christians could've come together at last and had a mutual 'bitch fit' to take it down. ;-)
- ciram, on 10/11/2007, -2/+14Not only did we evolve from a busstop but we ended up as something that looks like a power button.
- quadvods, on 10/11/2007, -6/+17clearly imageshack wont last long...
http://www.digitaluploader.com/viewer.php?id=evomirror546132.jpg - Tunguska, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13The final verdict?
We own at killing *****. - Rickler, on 10/11/2007, -2/+13A single wide field of view picture would look funky. The ends of the picture would be like looking at the wall at a 10 deg angle.
- FuriousGopher, on 10/11/2007, -0/+10Anyone else catch the point where the Dilophosaurus-like dinosaur turns into the Sesame-Seed T-Rex?
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -3/+13That post-apocalyptic caveman could be your son.
- computergod, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10Animals kill over many reasons, even fight as part of a large group against another group.
More humorous then profound was the impression I got from it. Meh, whatever, it's cool though.
I want to do something with it, not sure what though. Too long for a desktop background, maybe I could print it out using rasterbation. Would look cool in the hallway after editing and rasterbation. - earther, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10The original can be found here:
