i-am-bored.com — Whoever did these is very good at photoshop, you just have to see for yourself.

- eliburford, on 10/12/2007, -41/+36Very cool pics :)
- soviyet, on 10/12/2007, -20/+5Mirrored here: http://www.glowfoto.com/viewevent.php?eid=14
- tehkain, on 10/12/2007, -21/+10These spawned an SA thread a while ago.
http://forums.somethingawful.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=2069257 - lukas88, on 10/12/2007, -11/+104Call it what it is: Proof that evolution is true! Fundies went through a lot of trouble to make these LOOK like they were photoshopped. It is a conspiracy!
*rides away on an elephant fish* - hammydude, on 10/12/2007, -11/+8what about the duck crocidle? you know the one thats been around since the invention of internet itself?
http://www.wheelchairanglingandhamradio.co.uk/clonedpictures/Duck_crocodile.jpg
oh and there are a lot more of these types of pictures here:
http://www.wheelchairanglingandhamradio.co.uk/clonedpictures/ - VSKBadCRC, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Regarding the last picture in the list, something that cute should always come out of an egg...
- JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7I have all of them in the aquarium of my basement, mouahahah !
- daxsymbiont, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10where is the human animal.
- hobbitaussie, on 10/12/2007, -15/+9While some of these are good, some are quite bad. No good blending of size, texture, lighting, and humidity. Not that I personally can do better, but I know whats involved in professional work. This at best good amateur photoshopping.
- theratster, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3Thanks to genetic engineering, this is only a preview of whats to come!
- Layzie, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30WHERE is manbearpig?
- tackle, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4http://morethings.com/fan/south_park/photo_gallery/manbearpig-al_gore.jpg
You asked for it!!! - themastersb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Wow! Did you see that dolphin-kangaroo with a dolphin penis!?
- AcidPhysx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Sorry to post so far up, but this guy has been doing this for a long long time, and I think a bunch of it is most likely his work, maybe some of these are from worth1000, but human descent is pretty distinguishable.
He'll also do your animals as well, you need to send him pics and money though.
He probably has hundreds (if not a thousand) of his creations posted right now.
www.humandescent.com is his site. He could use the hits anyway, so digg away. - AcidPhysx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3btw he had tutorials on exactly how to do this.
- Junkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That cat/shark is gonna give me nightmares.
- diggimator, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I found this gallery earlier (a different page from this website was posted on digg recently):

- u8myfoood, on 10/12/2007, -2/+56i want to see a cog/dat, a cross-breed between a cat and a dog, with the loyalty of a cat and the cleanliness of a dog!
- freal, on 10/12/2007, -17/+8I see what you did there. But there is a dog like that, it's a breed called a Shiba Inu. I have 2 and they are very clean, lick themselves just like cats and are practically born potty trained. They are extremely loyal and show their owners tons of love and comparatively not much to strangers (unlike labs that love EVERYONE, not that theres anything wrong with that). They are my favorite breed and are gaining popularity in the US. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shiba_inu
- MaHaGoN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13"Whooooosh"
Whoa what was that? - hoginthefog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6@freal
wikipedia:
[A distinguishing characteristic of the breed is the so-called "shiba scream". When sufficiently provoked or unhappy, the dog will produce a loud, high pitched scream often likened to "a tortured woman or child".]
- Switch22, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Reminds me of one of the common worth1000 contests
- Diana172, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17They even took the time to photoshop the worth1000 logo out of each of them. You can really see this in the dolphin/kangaroo picture in the grass at the bottom. This website angers me, but these pictures are still awesome! Way to go, photoshoppers!
- Moocowz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5^^^ exactly what i was thinking. they're ripping pics from worth1000.com
- AcidPhysx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Are you sure worth1000?
Check out http://www.humandescent.com
- lillepalle, on 10/12/2007, -2/+48they are from this site: http://www.worth1000.com
- Switch22, on 10/12/2007, -19/+1good call !!!!!!!!!!!
- yoshitomi, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18I don't think I can carry on! I'm dying of laughter after seeing that Cat-Shark.
WTF?- lostboy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6the cat-shark thoroughly disturbed me, I found it pretty scary. I have to say the best ones in the series are around that area too, the dog-seal and the puffer/dog/fish
- stenk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I agree that Cat Shark made me feel weird. Fantastic Job. Some people have great skills!
Well done! - sjbdallas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I think my favorite is the Killer Penguin.
I think i'd sh*t my pants if I saw the Lobster Snake in real life. - chuckdigi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1cat-shark is killing me!!!
- DatDudeWiggs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1That's ridiculous
- thekronz, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6Damn... and I just got done creating the 3D effect with Photoshop...
I was so proud..... - opencoder, on 10/12/2007, -17/+4yeah. I remember seeing something on Digg a while ago about crazy photoshops. One of them was a kiwi-mouse that i cropped and made my background for a while...
--Alex- Halifax1, on 10/12/2007, -21/+7What's with that signature of your name? Nobody really cares what your name is.
- opencoder, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, its something that I've been doing since my days on the Gentoo forums. Plus, alot of real computer people dont like grandiose user names like monkeyboy3864586(sorry if that is any body's actual name). They want a real name. And computer programmers use their real names for just about everything. Not all Digg users want anonymity. And in the Gentoo forums, some of the older guys from back when Gentoo got started signed every post with their real names. Maybe if you weren't trolling all the time, you might have time to learn a little something about netiquette.
- GuidoRosso, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I like the reflection on the water from the tusks of the walrus/monkey.
- persecuted, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good catch
- GuidoRosso, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Although I just realized that reflection was probably already in the original photograph of the Walrus anyway ;) Still the effect is very convincing!
- SilenceBroken, on 10/12/2007, -7/+22Worth1000 makes it very clear they do not want other sites to rip off their artwork and repost it elsewhere. Those artists go to a lot of work to make images like that, and I wish people would respect the wishes of the site that made it all possible.
- LadyRaven, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7"Worth1000 makes it very clear they do not want other sites to rip off their artwork and repost it elsewhere. Those artists go to a lot of work to make images like that, and I wish people would respect the wishes of the site that made it all possible."
I can't help but wonder where the people from Worth1000 got the original photos though?
Do 'they' own the originals?
not trying to pick on you or say I don't agree with what you said ("artists go to a lot of work to make images like that") I can't help but wonder if they got the originals from the internet themselves?
Those images ARE cool though. - TheAstronomer, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Don't you think the artists want people to see their art? I think the RIAA and the MPAA are hiring.
- musklesg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10I agree. Worth1000 is very explicit on their terms, and this site makes no reference to the original artists. From Worth1000:
"Who owns the copyright to all images submitted to the site?
You do. The submitter maintains the copyright to all of his or her submitted photographs on Worth1000. Worth1000 reserves the right to store, modify, and display all images uploaded to the site permanently, without restriction. We also reserve the right to use submitted entries for Worth1000-related promotions in the future (i.e. newspaper articles on us).
...
You may not take even a single copyrighted image off of the Worth1000 website without our and our copyright holders' consent. This includes direct linking to images on our server (image leeching). Forward all requests here and we will reply promptly." - IMustBeEmo, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7@muskle
That's completely hypocritical. It's like eBaums World, only with a different watermark. Worth1000 is saying "the submitter owns the content but I'll just slap my own watermark on here and ruin the beauty." - dkm201, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4I love that these photoshop hacks think they can claim copyright to images they obviously stole from professional photographers.
It is to lol. - rhesuspieces00, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3its called stock photography dimwit. you buy it by the gigabyte BECAUSE there is no copyright on it.
- LadyRaven, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7"Worth1000 makes it very clear they do not want other sites to rip off their artwork and repost it elsewhere. Those artists go to a lot of work to make images like that, and I wish people would respect the wishes of the site that made it all possible."
- Papercutncheese, on 10/12/2007, -4/+5Aww those are really good, I with I could do something 1/100th as good as that. This is sure being digged up quickly.
- Quag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1-digged up-
dug up ;) - Goombellaofgoom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1*dugg* up ;P
- Quag, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1-digged up-
- Tricycles, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think the requirement was probably to join some animal underwater, with some animal on the land?
- abuse, on 10/12/2007, -7/+0http://www.duggmirror.com
- cyberpope, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Duggmirror didn't catch it :/
At least you can look at the from the original site.

- xSACREDx, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Those are pretty cool, looks a lot like Adonna Khare http://www.adonnak.com/image3.php
- odinfire, on 10/12/2007, -35/+1How is this news? Further... why front page news?
They are neat, but this is just like a friend telling a friend to check out his website...
Dugg down.- Supurcell, on 10/12/2007, -1/+32Maybe nobody told you, but Digg.com isn't a news site, it's a collection of links that people think are neat.
- Arcadian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This isn't Fark.
- Caleb83, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3a lot of these are really ***** weird!
- monosyth, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3was anyone else creeped out by most of these?

- toothpot, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3No
- JoeMittler, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3The cat is my favourite :P
- drethedog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1awsome
- heyy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1he could have given sadfishdog a diamond encrusted collar
- diggmaddy, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Thanks a lot OP for pointing out they're photoshopped. Otherwise, I would've thought something terrible happened during the evolution game.
- Goombellaofgoom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Spore, FTW!
- JonahB52, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Very cool, dreamlike.

- bluenash, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1bwah ha ha...eeeeeek!
- omninode, on 10/12/2007, -4/+1The title of this item represents everything that annoys me about digg.

http://www.humandescent.com/VersionNew/galleryA.shtml - DiggFreeLoader, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Wow those are absolutely fantastic... I've never seen such photoshop skill in my life.
- ZaNkY, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is pretty cool, some you can tell are photoshoped, but a vast majority of the pictures are so well done I would almost believe that such an animal existed!
The Walrus/Elephant looks incredible realistic (http://www.funpic.hu/funblog/allatok/allatok_18.jpg)
as well as the LobsterSnake: http://www.funpic.hu/funblog/allatok/allatok_27.jpg

- EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I can only hope to have that kind of skill some day. I did do one similar image I'm fairly proud of that did pretty well in a contest on another site:
http://home.comcast.net/~mike-n-carrie/parrot-rams.jpg
/yeah, I know I'll get dugg down for spamming my own work. I worked hard on it though. - Botrax, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Animal anomalies

does some of the same as worth1000 and the animal anomalies of SomethingAwful which in reality is really something good.
- vornan19, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This site
- kgilkerson, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1CREEPY
- darrk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Was it not Troy Mcclure who had the strange fish fetish? this takes the cake.
- pixelgecko, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I bet the good Lord above is thinking, "This is brilliant. Why didn't I think of that?!"
- TDot1980, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1No liger = no Digg.

[edit] ok nevermind it's back up for me.... - tmorrison, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Where's Man-bear-pig? He's half man, half bear, half pig!
- nemrel, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Why are so many of the people who are saying these pics look cool or are amazing photoshop skills being dugg down?
- LadyRaven, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0I guess (most) of those people doing the digging down are upset that credit wasn't given to the original site Worth1000 and that it's against their rules to post their (cough) work anywhere online (even though the photos used in their manips were most likely stolen -I mean borrowed- online from some other photography site and were never truely there's in the first place).
- rhesuspieces00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1more likely, its stock photography. You pay for a access to a website that has hundreds or thousands of searchable photos that aren't copyrighted, or you buy it by the DVD full.
- LadyRaven, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0rhesuspieces00:
I've seen people post links to the originals and a lot of those sites weren't payed sites or links to any "stock CD's". They were just reg celebrity/fan sites where anyone can download the photos anytime they please (nothing is ever payed for first).
I don't doubt that some people there DO pay for their photos/stock but I do find it hard to believe ALL of them do.
- bremstrong, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2As odd as these images are, they can't compete with the real world weird animals that exist.

Digg is coming to a city (and computer) near you! Check out all the details on our
