- wingnut21, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22Maybe you're using the Google popart blocker instead?
- dogshaft, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15are you a bot?
- thatbox, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Actual tutorial is here: http://www.melissaclifton.com/tutorial-popart.html
Digg link is just to some spam page that adds a spam header and who knows what else. - pbaehr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Rotoscoping is an animation term. It doesn't really apply here.

And before you digg me down for an empty link, CLICK it first. - scholty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I just RTFM'd this and found that NO, the Pen Tool does not exist in Element.... Oh well..
- Robubie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2here is the one i made http://img223.imageshack.us/img223/641/adunnnocig6hpos5.png
- MrManFitz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Whatever you want to call it. The tutorial examples look much more similar to film frames from movies like Waking Life and A Scanner Darkly than any Lichtenstein painting I've seen. Sheesh.
- igraham09, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i did this a while ago, looks cool if you do it right
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That was fun here is the results of what I did with this tutorial.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1That is fricken amazing, I always love seeing stuff like this. I always tell myself that I will try it but I never end up doing it, they always make it seem so easy for noobs like me. :P
- scholty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anyone know if this will also work in Photoshop elements? I seem to be to dumb to find the pen tool.... (never worked much with Photoshop but am trying to expand my horizon).
- mutatron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0At least one of the portraits looks like Tom Tomorrow. I've done stuff similar to this, and I've noticed that really pretty women start to look like Betty and Veronica from the Archie comic books when you mess with extremes of brightness and contrast.
- jasoneisen, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I dugg for Scarlett
- rahulsv, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Website doesn't come up. Instead an auto sale pop under appeared.
- merimeet, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1I hate this tutorial, having tried it on many pictures before. Doesn't work on a lot of pictures, especially ones with darker backgrounds.
- heinous, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Try foinf into the channels palette and selecting each color channel one at a time. Sometimes there's one where the background contrast will be reduced a little bit. If you find one, duplicate that channel and increased the contrast, invert the image, whatever. Generally speaking if there's a will, there's a way. Sometimes it just takes a little pre-tampering.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1nice tutorial, thanks for posting it.
- oOLiquidNightOo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1one of the slicker photoshop tutorials i've seen inna while, thanks.
- BionicBeefpile, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This doesn't look anything like a Lichtenstein painting, except for the fact that there are colors, and some dots. Where Lichtenstein used colored dots, this has black dots with a color overlay. I think that the results would be better with some judicious application of the color halftone filter (as mentioned in the article), and then colorizing the image by altering the curves.
That being said, I think that the image shown at the end, where it's combined with the line art work, looks much nicer - kirkio, on 10/12/2007, -7/+462 diggs and already the digg effect

Links to pages that spam your screen suck. - MrManFitz, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Looks more like a rotoscope effect than Lichtenstein. Cool tutorial though.
- disposablepal, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2this is a really cool easy tutorial, i'll be getting alot of use from it.
- barnis, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2i like everything except the weird gay picture at the end of the tutorial
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1I've seen this exact tutorial on Digg's front page before.. but I couldn't find it by searching, so I guess I'll just leave your article alone.
