@engme - It probably uses double ball end strings, like the old Steinbergers used. The spring-loaded bridge moves forward, you slide the strings in, then you tighten and tune via the machine heads on the back of the bridge. Its a fairly common design for headless guitars. The big problem I have is there's no discernable volume pot.
A lot of these guys are right - Ibanez, Jackson, ESP, and Fender are still making great instruments... Gibson, not so much, ever since the company was sold in 1986 for a mere $5million. Modern SG's and 'Pauls just don't sound or feel the same as the vintage stuff... But I'm all about a unique player having a unique instrument... it really becomes part of you.

Yeah, but Dave recently switched from ESP to Dean :/ - hikaruzero, on 10/11/2007, -2/+6ESP makes great guitars. So does Ibanez. And Fender. And Gibson.
But all of them also made crappy guitars.
It's not like brands *only* make godly or foul guitars.
