msdewey.com — Ms. Dewey is a new, interactive, Flash based search engine. To assist you in your search, the website is hosted by smoking hot model/actress/vocalist, Janina Gavankar, who is guest starring in upcoming new episodes of Showtime's "The L Word". See what she and the site are capable of by typing into the search field, or just leave it blank and watch.

  • attila, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I think it's a cool project and I find myself going there throughout the day as a diversion, which I guess is why it was created. Not so much as a functional search engine to replace the current leaders in the game, just something 'nice' to look at and play with. Hopefully they'll continue development of it from this point, but my impression is that this was a project that they've finished for all intents and purposes.

I can envision future enhancements to this concept where a "Ms. Dewey" type AI manifestation tells you about the topic or results you're looking for in addition to the textual display of results....or better yet, tries to sell you something based on what you're searching for ;-)

    I agree. Using the send-to-friend option yields a URL like this:

    The r variable corresponds to response, and is entirely independent from the search text. Explore!

    Through flow analysis, I was also able to find video storage. Example:

    Again, exploration could be interesting.
