- wwwdot1jesdotus, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15I never understood why everyone is trying to replace sugar. Most sugar substitutes have more bad things in them than sugar.
- Ogedei, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Confusing headline.....maybe this will make it easier....
live ants = ants that are alive
make = to produce something
sugar replacement = something that replaces sugar
advertisement = something used to show off a product and hopefully entice you into buying it.
so.. live ants are used to produce an advertisement showing off something that replaces sugar.
Maybe it's not the headline that's confusing, seemed pretty straightforward to me. - Anti, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Yes, but ants eat sugar. I guess I don't get what you're saying. Oh wait, I get it, you're an idiot wop4life.
This ad is brilliant - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11You're correct. That's the idea. I think this is a Cannes gold.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11And if you were in the market for simulated ***** you'd probably buy the stuff that the flies ate.
- dpcdomino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I would say ad agencies but I have seen other works form ad agencies so I will say drugs...and a lot of them.
- GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Wait, so it's ants eating the sugar replacement because it's sweet? Or am I missing something?
- RoroCo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Unfortunately, the new brand of fake sugar now causes mutations in the ants and three headed baby ants are created... Granted the three-hants are still cute, but being sugary sweet, they are now tastier to their prey which will mean they will become extinct in 200 years.
- JernejL, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Wow, this is unique original, kinda reminds me of that episode of MacGyver when he flooded all the ants :D
- insovietrussia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7You would think that they'd individually name all of the ants in the credits. Pfft.
- noahhoward, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Really really clever ad. Where do they come up with these?
- dpcdomino, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Pretty brilliant.
- dcipjr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Above this text, I have clicked the red "thumbs-down" button to digg you down, as I don't like spam.
- ABadInAlbany, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's Splenda, rebranded. (sucralose)
- insovietrussia, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"do you really think i would give you a windows vista key no ways buddy but you have decoded this so what is you reward? your reward is being one of the few people to have been able to read this comment and you are smarter then 98% of the idiots out there."
And no, I didn't think you would give me a Vista key. What the hell does this have to with ants anyway? - insovietrussia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Outside the square?
- Rodzirra, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5@www... There's a lot of money in sweet. People demand, the market supplies.
- DexDoomsday, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I can't wait to see his next ad with pants!
- clickmyface, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Screw the sugar, now I just want ants!
- jgzman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I suspect that the ants will die from this. I would assume that a Sugar Replacement will have fewer calories, or similar. (I could not find information about the product) This means that the ants will carry back home something that smells and tastes like food, but will result in less energy for an ant that eats it. Thus, they may stave to death.
Not that I care all that much. There's plenty of ants. - chkmate21, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is what the company website says:
"We had the arrogance of youth and we were convinced we were better than the rest"
I must say they really have the entrepreneurial spirit!
Check out there website: http://rediffusiondyr.com/ - YouGiveMeRash, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They probably used real, natural sugar for the ad...
- Pushkin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Surprisingly complex to do in the browser
alert(eval('String.fromCharCode('+"0x"+"your hexcode".toUpperCase().split(' ').reverse().join(',0x')+')')) - Malakin, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Considering sucralose is a good insecticide, I wonder what the ad might look like after a week or so when they're all dead? This assumes they really used sucralose though. I doubt it.
- mannbearpigg, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What happens when the ants die?
- meatmcguffin, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2No probs! All the episodes from series one, 1 to 8, are online at http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=look+around+you&search=Search
- JHattendorfII, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1consequently, all the ants got cancer.
- meatmcguffin, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Bless you ants
Blants.

Yes, awesome stuff. - samy293, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Out of the box - Perfect!
- benjholla, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1meatmcguffin, that was pretty funny video, thanks for sharing!
- Desimat0r, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Artificial sweetener attacks the cause, not the problem. I refuse to eat that junk, but I know its going to get crammed down my mouth sooner or later.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Look Around You is my favorite show of all time!
- uglypug, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Very creative.....someone said "there is nothing new in this world" (Harry Truman, I think), but this proves him wrong - and this guy is a truly an independent thinker. Dugg up for originality.
- lopla, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3OMG can this be done in HDR? It can only be cool on digg if it's an HDR image!
- a1532b, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3That has to be one of the most confusing headlines I've read on Digg. I had to read it about 4 times, then click on the link to figure out what you meant. What about something simple like "Advertisement: Poster made with live ants (with pics)" or something.
- machiko, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1I wonder how long, exactly, the ants are live on the poster before it's a bunch of dead ants on the poster.
- wop4life, on 10/12/2007, -18/+2Flys eat *****, that doesn't mean it tastes good.
- sp3kt4r, on 10/12/2007, -35/+1bellow this text i have encrypted a windows vista ultimate key that has not been used as i don't like vista. If you are smart enough to decode it it is your.
It is encoded using simple hexadecimals
