- ZephyrNinety, on 10/24/2007, -7/+645Upon further inspection, I realized that there are no wet Asian girls in this post.
- sv7nsson, on 10/16/2007, -2/+290Man I'd hate to be the guy who tries to dive in!
- h4mx0r, on 10/16/2007, -4/+216That is so damned awesome and yet so damned pointless.
- kevlarbaboon, on 10/11/2007, -2/+201Clearly some kind of wizard's spell.
- inactive, on 10/14/2007, -4/+172I really dont get whats going on here and "Oh, these Japanese ... Where so much fantasy?" doesn't help me.
- michaelb1, on 10/14/2007, -3/+135This pool would never happen in America.
Someone would sue for the mere possibilty of diving in a breaking their neck. - IceBurn, on 10/14/2007, -7/+125Most likely less then six inches of water over a heavy duty sheet of glass or plexi-glass like material. Cool idea, but it begs the question: Why?
- ursername180, on 10/14/2007, -13/+131I for one would like to welcome our new Japanese sea-dwelling overlords.
- luet, on 10/16/2007, -11/+124So how does it work? Is it just glass that looks like water or a 1 foot layer of water encased in glass? Or what?
- jlewicki, on 10/11/2007, -2/+110Because they are Japanese. There is no equivalent of the the English word "why" in the Japanese language.
- Warptera, on 10/11/2007, -2/+94To put pictures on the Internet, duhhh. :p
- relaxeder, on 04/17/2009, -1/+91You just defined Japan.
- TeCuervo, on 10/14/2007, -0/+86Simple. There is a force-field underneath.
- shirosamurai, on 10/11/2007, -2/+77"Cool idea, but it begs the question: Why?"
Better question: Why not? - crashflow, on 11/01/2007, -3/+69I'd hate to be the guy who pushes him in.
"oh *****, he's walking on water...oh *****...oh *****..." - NikoKun, on 10/11/2007, -4/+65OMG Look at her TEETH! XD

oops! - a0me, on 10/14/2007, -0/+45For those interested it's actually one of the main attraction of the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art in the Kanazawa prefecture.
http://www.kanazawa21.jp/opening_exhibition/opening_diary/diary09_041014.html - contradictator, on 11/01/2007, -1/+46I'd hate to be one of the people underneath when all that water, broken glass and a bleeding guy fall on them.
- praisethelard, on 06/06/2008, -3/+46More like "oh *****, he fell to the bottom and the water's making him bleed"
- egress123, on 10/11/2007, -0/+39Ok, I found a movie clip I took while I was there.

mediatwo, You can't put the hand through the water. I was under there as well, and there is no way to do that. - Spiffy101, on 10/11/2007, -4/+43buried for getting my hopes up D:
- egress123, on 10/11/2007, -0/+37It's funny to see that picture in Digg. I've been there last year with my wife. It's part of an abstract art museum.
There are two clear acrylic glasses about a foot apart and water is filled inside. The top surface is also filled with about 4 to 5 inches of water so that it just look like water.
The museum was amazing. - Onibus, on 10/11/2007, -2/+37Damn it, what'd I tell you about drowning my guests?
- dillibob, on 10/11/2007, -0/+34its obviously a level in the new final fantasy game.
- Jones82, on 10/11/2007, -2/+33Doesn't that describe everything that diggers are into?
- Drumrboy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+34reminds me of that glitch in tony hawk underground in the Canada level i believe.
you would grind a rail, hit the wall then when you went back you fell under water :-P - B3nno, on 10/11/2007, -1/+29For now my friend, for now.
- IceBurn, on 10/11/2007, -0/+24Nope. None at all. A complete vacuum.
*sigh* - SharkyTech, on 10/11/2007, -6/+28It's glass holding up a layer of water. It's just a glass-bottomed pond.
- CinaMichele, on 10/11/2007, -4/+26they're*
- Fr4nk2012, on 10/11/2007, -4/+24Thats funny because I'd love it if you were the guy who tried to dive in.
- Jawsh91, on 10/11/2007, -4/+23They're**
- hfactor, on 10/11/2007, -0/+17made any sense
- shertzerj, on 10/11/2007, -0/+16Why exactly would he be stupid? When have I ever had to know what the emergency number in Japan is? Do you know what the emergency number in Finland is off the top of your head?
- yndy, on 10/11/2007, -3/+17It's an art installation - where there's a room, where people can walk, in the bottom of a "pool" - covered by glass that has water on top of it - so from the top it looks like there are people standing fully dressed on the bottom of the pool - and from the bottom it looks like looking up from the bottom of a pool.
- FujiwaraTofu, on 10/14/2007, -0/+13The artist actually isn't Japanese
http://www.leandroerlich.com.ar/ - EXreaction, on 10/11/2007, -3/+16Magic man in the sky did it.
- yakuzablitz, on 10/11/2007, -7/+20I'm pretty sure that comment was a joke guys. :P Of course there are words equivalent to "Why?"
- Ductapemaster, on 10/11/2007, -0/+13You can't 'sigh' in a vacuum!
- stklaw, on 10/11/2007, -1/+13I bet you want to play dead under that glass
someone's gonna call 911 - RandomHuman0111, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12Just let it go. That sentence is to up ***** to fix.
- hayseed, on 10/11/2007, -4/+16im in ur pool
- inactive, on 10/11/2007, -12/+24No, they'll probably call 119. You're a pretty stupid American if you think that calling 911 in Japan will get you anywhere.
- Fr4nk2012, on 10/11/2007, -0/+12I told everyone you wouldn't get it.
- jlyoung, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12only stupid people ask why? smart people ask how? if everyone asked why, then the internet would still be a fantasy.
- Swarley, on 10/11/2007, -1/+12why am i not going underwater
