- oteque, on 03/24/2009, -4/+39I love Hulu...
- chadwalters23, on 03/24/2009, -1/+21You know they say TV will rot your brain? That's absurd. TV only softens the brain like a ripe banana.
- Kharmakazy, on 03/25/2009, -0/+15My only major gripe with Hulu is that they show the SAME DAMN COMMERCIALS over and over and over. I need new commercials.
- TrevorBradley, on 03/25/2009, -4/+18If they can accomplish Hulu in Canada, we may actually start loving it too.
Until then... Hulu are Hosers! - atomicpoet, on 03/24/2009, -1/+11Time to grow moustaches and buy pipe tobacco!
- AlanFang, on 03/25/2009, -0/+9suck it up they are like 30 seconds each. most even have an option to just watch a long commercial at the beginning.
- briansalo, on 03/25/2009, -0/+9I hope so, I'm tired of seeing ads for something that I can't even use.
This isn't a complex issue... Find any companies that will pay for their ads on Hulu and make profit. It doesn't matter if the first few batches of advertisers aren't as rewarding because if they don't do it people will find other streaming sites or torrent the shows and they'll get NO profit. - alanocu, on 03/24/2009, -0/+8Set up a lot of programs on my Tivo that I discovered on Hulu. Now the Tivo needs another drive, or replaced with a newer model. And the perky Tivo lady, she's been bugging me lately - she uses my ethernet cable when I'm not looking. She changes my Tivo menus and orders my Tivo to stop recording when I don't pay my bill - the NERVE of some people!
The evil is spreading faster than my technology can manage. - TheMachine1, on 03/25/2009, -0/+6Yeah but they are short breaks.
- m3mn0n, on 03/25/2009, -0/+5Yeah, eh!
- IronDuke83, on 03/25/2009, -0/+5awww why's this getting dugg down? It's true!

//bittorrent loves everyone. Except throttlers - hanexar, on 03/25/2009, -3/+7international hulu?
*cough* hotspot shield *cough* - SquareWheel, on 03/26/2009, -0/+4Randall: Internet Tough Guy
- Kinser, on 03/25/2009, -1/+4I am sorry about the people who can't view the content but I do enjoy Hulu. They have the whole first season of stargate! I mean who else legally has that to offer online?
- Diggnabbit, on 03/25/2009, -0/+3I'm sure Hulu would be happy to oblige if they got more advertisers.
- turbodiesel, on 03/25/2009, -0/+3Lighten up, Francis. It's not childish at all. Hulu's ad campaign in the US is "An Evil Plot toTake Over the World"
Link to ad on youtube: <a class="user" href="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m71m-LBqFQ" rel="nofollow">http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1m71m-LBqFQ</a&g ... - pandawa, on 03/25/2009, -1/+4the companies are scared ***** of digital....just like they were of cassettes and cds
- chaosatom, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2I love Hulu too!
The ads they put out are simply brilliant. They know that young people would get the sarcasm of 'Evil Plot taking over the world" and make people go to hulu to check it out. - inactive, on 03/25/2009, -9/+11Anything to get rid of the butthurt Canadian and Euro diggers whining every time an SNL digital short hits the front page.
- carlosos, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2Already done. Here you go:
http://www.secondrun.tv/ - freezerburn666, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2i hope they can provide content in canada because ctv SUCKS for quality compared to hulu's
- upick, on 03/25/2009, -2/+4Yes please, I'll vote for that. But will it stay free that my question
- JayBabs, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2best news I've heard all day
- blackz0r, on 03/25/2009, -0/+2So, Hulu had someone in charge of procuring international rights prior to this? And said employee hasn't been fired? Does not compute.
- prophx, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1lame
- Shazbuckle, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1I can't wait to get Hulu in Ireland.
- suzanek, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1every one love hulu.
- thinboyslim, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1I can't see this happening in the UK, all the main channels already have online content for streaming or downloading, the excellent BBC iPlayer and Channel 4's 4oD (On Demand) lets users watch all of the last months TV for free. Then there's the ITV catchup service as well, which isn't as good but still works. How would Hulu fit in? They wouldn't be able to have the rights to any of the main channels. Unless they show all the US shows in the UK but seeing as I can't even watch a movie trailer in this country without a territory rights infringement message popping up, I really can't see Hulu providing anything to the UK market.
- hanexar, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1Ever heard of Canadian Radio-Television and Telecom Commission (CRTC)? They'll do everything they can to stop it, just because they can.
***** them. - Otto, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1When Hulu stops trying to block ways for it to work on my Television set, then perhaps they have a shot at an actual market. Until then, Hulu is dead to me.
- turbodiesel, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1screwed up links Alec Baldwin ad

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8CMWkesiVD4 - hashfail, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1Does this mean BBC shows? Maybe?
- LANjackal, on 03/25/2009, -0/+1Buried for the retardedly childish headline. Exactly what is "evil" about taking content international? Oh I forgot, it's the typical tech industry tunnel vision: audiences and markets outside the US don't exist, right? Of course not. Why would any content company want to go international?
- sugablonde, on 03/26/2009, -0/+1those ***** work too. we never buy cheetos...but after 5 15 second commercials, wtf do ya know, we're buying cheetos. i swore to myself i wouldn't be manipulated, but...damn you chester!!
- VonScience, on 03/25/2009, -0/+0L2Read.
The title is not saying that taking content international is evil, it is referring to Hulu's overall plan. - TheMachine1, on 03/25/2009, -1/+1I agree with you about the same old ***** being played endlessly. Needs to be a way to remove ads you do not want to see anymore. I tried to use their "do you like or dislike this ad" feature but it does not block ads.
- EMGroup, on 03/25/2009, -0/+0Hulu, another reason for me to sell my tv and use the money towards a bigger and better monitor for my pc
- Spanq, on 03/25/2009, -5/+3Make a damn interface for Windows Media Center already!
- Kahnza, on 03/25/2009, -4/+2But its the same boring ***** over and over and over. And its the fact that they are so frequent. There are less commercials for movies on Comedy Central FFS.
- RandaII, on 03/25/2009, -4/+1Please stfu. just because you can't get it don't mean it sucks. Because of your mentality of being a ***** looser you automatically think well I can not get it then it must suck. The people at hulu are working hard to get the copyright stuff worked out. So really SHUT THE ***** UP ***** AND LEARN TO DEAL WITH IT. .
- Kahnza, on 03/25/2009, -7/+2Hulu severely lacks in content. And their "limited commercial interruption" usually involves 8-12 commercials during a movie. >:(
- inactive, on 03/25/2009, -10/+0hey guys .. have u all try this ..... just go for it and enjoy
