- roastedbagel, on 10/10/2007, -7/+35hole-y crap that's cool!
- c5mjohn, on 10/10/2007, -22/+47This is a video of him making another punch art in time lapse: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oHg5SJYRHA0
- FAPmaster, on 10/10/2007, -2/+24Looks like he rasterbated that picture then cut out the dots.
- krist69, on 10/10/2007, -4/+17"...Steven Nicholson is a 2yr student at Plymouth university..."
...and has way too much free time on his hands... - Rahodeb, on 10/10/2007, -1/+13Not photoshopped, but there's no way he did that without some tech help. Either he printed it in a pointilistic style, then punched the dots out manually, or has access to some kind of CNC machine that does it for you.
- inv1ctus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+12You rickroll'n son of a bitch.
- FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -3/+13not punny
- FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -0/+8dumbassed
- intricate, on 10/10/2007, -8/+15A picture is worth a thousand holes.
- quadvods, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Not photoshopped clearly... but how DID he get the hole puncher to work in the middle of the paper?????
- wattznext, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9This is super cool. I heard theres a restoration project involving massive amounts of reinforcements
- ChronicFiles, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Server is not responding. Mirrored at http://pileofphotos.com/view/318/Hole-punch-art
- tabaczka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3The Rastebator is down now.. Hmm i wonder if its related...
- aldenhg, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3I know that there's a web app named the Rasterbator, but the processis actually called halftoning and you can do it in Photoshop or the Gimp or whatever Corel's POS is.
- R3j3ct, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Yeah, I can run an image through rasterbator, and then export it to my plotter at work with a cutting blade and make that in about 20 minutes with any photo. hell, it'd be cooler to make a negative of the image, then reverse cut it on vinyl. Discard the area he kept and use the rest like a giant sticker
- TheHappyRobot, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I just graduated from that self same University. You wont begin to believe the amount of free time you can have (at the expense of your degree), for example:
http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=lzSaKDBvQBc - aaron.dunlap, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2OK, I guess I'm only the third person to get this joke. Good one though. (Referring to those little sticky circles you put on hole punched paper to keep them from ripping)
- swordedge, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2He might have used a laser cutter as the word used is apparently. It doesn't give a definitive answer to how he did it. Only that it has ten different size holes on A1 paper.
- molachai, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2not a pun.
- smurf22, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It wouldn't take that much time, a bout 3 hours of work if you had the supplies. All you do is rasterbate a image (as mentioned on the page) then hole punch it.
- tabaczka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I dont see the point of doing this by hand when there are laser cutters... It doesn't make the ladies want you or anything..
"Here baby i spent 57 hours punching all these holes, its a picture of your beautiful face..." - flarn2006, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=rickroll'd
- UnstableMind, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1WTF? And what the hell is Rick Roll'd?
- ThreeDee912, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Actually, only about 5% of his (her?!) stories get to the front page:
http://digg.com/users/pizzler/profile - tabaczka, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Oh boy you are too funny! You are right though. Art sucks. I mean why do we even need creative people in this world. We should all be scientists or gaming nerds... That would make for such a bland and productive world! Great idea.
- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I would definitely let him hole-punch my face.
Wait... - idntunknwn, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Says someone on Digg.
- Markpdotcom, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Exactly... you could do it with a laser cutter/etcher, but thats about it...
- neodorian, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1It's what stupid /b/tards do for fun when they get grounded.
- ericember, on 09/30/2008, -0/+1that is using office supplies to the utmost. It sort of looks like bruce lee

- D3koy, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2My favorite one is the big white box with the little red diamond in the top corner....
- HydraulicToast, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1its actually not a bad idea, all you need is an exacto knife and a lot of time...
- capellathestar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1That is totally awesome, but I would hate to be the cleaning service for HIs office.
- Roamer22, on 07/18/2008, -0/+0This is the coolest thing ever, the pictures look fantastic - imagine the paper bits that they leave behind.
- seriatum1, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1How is that awesome? What is the difference between black dots forming a picture or dots made from a hole punch? Except that the hole punch method takes hours upon hours of time that could be otherwise spent curing cancer or coming up with a clean burning fuel. Hell, even playing video games would be a better use of time because getting to the "next level" is more of an achievement than punching holes for hours. I'll say though that it is a less than typical way of wasting time and feeling like you've achieved something. Kudos for that, anyway. You know I'm right, cmon. Digg me.
- ReignX, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0Used rasterbator
http://homokaasu.org/rasterbator/ - johnny222, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1Server is still up
- staffrocket, on 10/10/2007, -1/+1I tried one time, but wasn't too creative with it: http://flickr.com/photos/williehoffman/698361623/
- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -2/+2Holy punched paper, Batman!
- K3ITHK, on 10/10/2007, -2/+1Definitely a machine to do this...
- EvilJelloMan, on 10/10/2007, -4/+3Digg is becoming more and more like 4chan every day
- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -3/+2I totally thought you said "masturbated that picture"
- seriatum1, on 10/10/2007, -2/+0That is a clever pun. Kudos.
- FreakyD, on 10/10/2007, -4/+2WOW, He's not getting any....."Look how much free time I have"
- chrisinsocalif, on 10/10/2007, -3/+1I like the donkey punch.

- Zackypooh, on 10/10/2007, -4/+1everything pizzler makes seem to end up on the front page of Digg... he must make some pretty good stories! =O
- MasterThief117, on 10/10/2007, -5/+2bah, that video was obviously 'shopped. [/sarcasm]
