- potomac1x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We have the real mashup (NY vs. SF and the traffic one) going now and the API is available for anyone interested - http://www.GeoIQ.com
- ldhertert, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It should automatically overlay bright spots on the map to signify hot spots. My guess is this won't last long...but they shouldn't have included the URL in the screenshots if they didn't want people going there.
- potomac1x, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1We upped the number of simultaneous users it can handle so should be working a bit better now - just wait for the heat map to generate before you zoom in to the next level. Takes a couple of seconds with all the traffic. We'll have panning built in and lots of other stuff for the real release.
- trueking7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good submission Kevin ...the only thing better than knowing, is knowing together.
- blapierre, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Then I guess it won't work for them.
- ausmate, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Regarding implementation, WMS approach works quite well. There are good freebies available able to handle quite a traffic.

- angrycat, on 10/12/2007, -9/+2Please never say 'mashup' again, you might as well just say iblogopodcastosphere 2.0
