- bedlam, on 10/12/2007, -1/+24Since when do easter eggs provide functionality? What were you expecting?
Props to google... it's always nice to see a sense of humor. - xtr3m, on 10/12/2007, -6/+20Do you realize the importance of this?!
This is probably the first time in history when a huge company admitted, although unofficially, that internet in fact ends at some point. Yes, yes, internet as you know it is not infinite!
OMG, I better show this to my professor! - chewy5000, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Who cares
- FishPoisonCon, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10it's not hidden. it's not an easter egg.
- sniper6121, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8The last link goes to http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm You would think they would have had it go to google.com I guess the programmer doesn't believe apples theory 1 Infinite Loop.
- tomvendetta, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Hard to call that an easter egg. Its the default page for when a feed runs out of links, to skip through all the settings/adding to the bookmark bar just go to http://www.google.com/reader/next?go=noitems
- Amything, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5I agree, its not hidden at all. I found it within 10 minutes of trying it for the first time.
I put the bookmark, clicked it 3 times to see what was next and that came. - webcrumb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I must set up a restaurant* at the end of the internet... just remember to invest a penny before visiting or you'll not be able to afford the food.
(*cyber cafe?) - webcrumb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5No, that's a netmask or broadcast address (IIRC). 254.254.254.254 would be OK, though.
- pcrepairshop, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Many roads lead to the same destination.

- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2What are the odds that in our lifetimes we might see the end of the expression 'OMG'.
There is nothing in the world as 'Valley Girl' as that expression. - Portfolioso, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2This isn't an easter egg. It's google's message for when there are no more items in the reader. When the link is dragged to the toolbar, it assumes there are no more posts in the feed, therefor you get that error.
- coldshuts, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1255.255.255.254 ?
I thought there were no public ips above 224 or something like that. IIRC 225 + are reserved for tests. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I just dont understand why there is much fuss about this. It seems people tend to get excited whenever some one thinh like this and creates unnecessary hype and waste time for others in raising things like Easter Egg... in Google....
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1If only it could make that interterminable "Loading..." message away. Still waiting after 30 minutes.
- cabazorro, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2The end of the internet on site:
http://www.shibumi.org/eoti.htm
Shouldn't it be on http://255.255.255.255, at least for ipV4 - shmooth, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1yo, forget about the easter egg - this feature is phatt! totally awesome. finally, some tools that are actually useful for tube surfing.
- chewy5000, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Thanks. I was confused cause I got the next post (i wanted that in italics) in one of my feeds
- HonoredMule, on 10/12/2007, -7/+6Ah, thank goodness I'm finally through it all. The ending was kind of lame though. It left a lot of loose ends. Will there be a sequel?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -5/+2Rofl, this is hysterical. Go El Goog!
- felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -17/+13Finally.
Whew. That took forEVER. I can finally go back to reading my book. - titaniumdecoy, on 10/12/2007, -6/+2You don't understand; there is only one end to the internet.
- Devoboy, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5Funny ;)
- coryp420, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1Web 2.0?
- HonoredMule, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4Woah...some mass down-digging. What gives? Are we trivializing the...joke...too much? If this were a serious topic, I'd get dug down for putting too much thought into my replies while the trite one-liners get dug up.
Oh I get it. I forgot to either praise or trash google so the fanboys on one side of the fence would dig me up.
Google sucks!
Google rocks!
And felchdonky, I thought your comment was mildly amusing at least. Certainly didn't merit the bury. - replica, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2I use Blogines.com. Must better than the googel reader.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -21/+11The End of the Tubes
Congratulations! This is the last Dumptruck.
Thank you for visiting the End of the Internets. There are no more spoons.
You must now find a plunger and get creative with it.
Go get laid, for pete's sake. - Roger, on 10/12/2007, -14/+1L A M E
- Lynn, on 10/12/2007, -19/+2Bloglines.com is much better feed reader than google.
- IQ70, on 10/12/2007, -26/+2I was expecting an easter egg with a function.
This is just waste of time.
