- EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -13/+72Yet again, people are digging down the empty duggmirror links
Have you even bothered to click it? Obviously not, because if you did, you would see that it takes you to the right place - EternalDarkWing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+56He even added the little drop-shadow effect. Well done.
- EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -53/+105http://www.duggmirror.com/
- dustedbunny, on 10/12/2007, -1/+47Nevermind the google logo. Look behind him in some of those pictures. THERE IS WALLS OF LEGOS.
Amazing. :) - Juvenall, on 10/12/2007, -1/+39Dear Google,
Buy this man as many Legos as he wants.
Kind Regards,
Juvenall Wilson
PS - Feel free to include me in any Lego windfalls. - kurtu5, on 10/12/2007, -1/+30I guess the terrible secret of dugmirror is HTTP_REFFER.
That is you click linky from this page and duggmirror goes hey it came from http://digg.com/design/Google_Logo_err_Lego - dustedbunny, on 10/12/2007, -2/+26nevermind my grammar..
THERE ARE/IS/IZ/AR/R/BE WALL/WALLS/WALLZ/LARGE QUANTITIES of LEGOS! - SamKellett, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18He says about Google being a dream employer, but I think Lego would be pretty damned cool too!
- PAJK, on 10/12/2007, -54/+70http://www.duggmirror.com/design/Google_Logo_err_Lego/
- Motocompo, on 10/12/2007, -2/+18Holy Crap... there are a lot of LEGO's behind him... He could make his own mini LEGOland theme park if he wanted
- nRIK, on 10/12/2007, -8/+24Needs anti-aliasing ;)
But 8-bit is cool too - stuartpidd, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16The whole thing is lego, even the white background, take a closer look at the following picture : http://duggmirror.com/design/Google_Logo_err_Lego/7c70a9f089ef2ebd30b7cb80c2cbce15_DSC01933.JPG
... and why would you try to point out something negative about it? - MicrowavedH2o, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13No, but having multiple _cases_ of bricks, sorted by shape, color, and size, covering entire walls of your basement does...
Not geek in your stereotypical sense, but this guy is classic - EGOvoruhk, on 10/12/2007, -7/+21PAJK: What are you talking about? My link will never break, unless duggmirror removes it
- devoinregress, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15Correction:
Their is a wall of LEGO® brand bricks. - pheedback, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14This must have taken a while. He wears three different shirts.
- tim507, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16i SO want his lego collection!!
- afex, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15i accept your bet.
- HHP2K, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12The drop-shadow is the best part about it, as he said, it makes it look like the logo is floating :) Very cool indeed.
- dustedbunny, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10HOLY CRAP. THAT'S A LOT OF LITTLE PLASTIC BUILDING BLOCKS.
k? - JuyLe, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Must have cost lots of money for buying pieces !
- EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10LeGo my logo!
- brendanc, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I guess you're 12 and "too cool" for LEGO.
LEGO are what make people smart. LEGO may be expensive, but if you give them to your kids when they are just starting to learn motor skills, they will without a doubt be much smarter than their non-LEGO using peers.
LEGO also makes people think "different" about what can and can't be created. Everything is limited only by your own imagination, and LEGO allows people to expand that. - psyon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Are you blind or retarded? Look at the pictures. Specifically, look at the one of the girl holding the Os.
- hotpepper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7@Terc
Why are you making Lego possessive with your apostrophe-es?
If you're going to be a grammar nazi, then at least use proper grammar.
@devoinregress
Correction:
There is a wall of LEGO® brand bricks. - buffawhat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6I was one of the first kids on the block to get the original Lego Mindstorm system, thanks to being a beta testing family. That thing was so cool growing up, as soon as I found out about pbrick, the robots started to get more complex.
I'd love to have that many Lego's. Or at least, that many Legos of the same color. - u8myfoood, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@RedRummy
you were probably the kid who never could never get the legos to stay together weren't u? - Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5The geek is weak in this one.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -7/+12If this were Apple they would take him to court ... Hooray google!
- ekarabunarlieva, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The Google Talk team did something similar a while ago. Pictures: http://googletalk.blogspot.com/2006/03/lego-logos_06.html
- macbookpromat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Lego pwn so hard, I still have some from when I was a kid, and I will buy some more.
LEGO FTW! - TheSilencer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I love the letter shadowing. The letters DO look like they're floating. SWEET!
- Kappa3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4His life, a total failure. agreed.
- meznak, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6@EGOvoruhk
Some of us use RSS aggregators (therefore, no HTTP_REFERRER). I, for one, appreciate the full duggmirror links. - eskay, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5"Needs anti-aliasing ;)"
My thoughts exactly, but I dont think legos tend to come in pastel shades (with exceptions) - Namco, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Why doesn't he try to sell it to Google? I'm sure he could make a couple of G's profit from it, and it's just the thing that a Google PM would gladly scrape a few thousand from a couple coffers for.
- Kappa3, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3It sucks, it's not even embossed. It's not jealousy, just higher standards.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3I hope he gave that green tank top back to his sister after he was done with it.
- HonoredMule, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1http://www.thefreedictionary.com/dict.asp?Word=dumber
- scubajim, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4If you guys like Legos you should volunteer for Lego Robotics. The First Lego League is a great program. (Teams of youngsters 8 to 14 have to build a robot out of Legos and program it to meet the annual challenge. First Lego League needs Mentors, coaches, judges, refs, and local tournament directors.)
- LanMan66, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Nope...click on the pictures to zoom in on them. The drop shadow is done with grey legos too.
- K4P741NxKRUNCH, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Thats amazingly awesome!
It just appears to float in midair - nullgal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Actually, the builder is a software engineer and drives a Honda Civic. I (his wife) am not the fine, but not a troll either. Just to clarify. :)
- JasonHoekstra, on 01/29/2008, -0/+1The Google home page: http://www.google.com/logos/lego08.gif
- Slooper, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Dude . . . I wish I was that cool. The best thing I've ever done was help my brother build a roller coaster out of K*nex . . . and it wasn't even that good of a roller coaster.
Kudos! - JasonHoekstra, on 01/29/2008, -0/+1Today, the Google home page: http://www.google.com/logos/lego08.gif
- HonoredMule, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1LEGO > (Google || Apple)
- nullgal, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The computer printout was so we could see how large the finished piece would be. It would be impossible for it to tell us "where to put" the bricks because we have no idea how many of each brick we have. And thank you for the criticism of our home decor. You're adorable.

- Dog_Paddle, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I forgot my sarcasm tag. Oops.
