- MikeKnoop, on 10/12/2007, -4/+36Did anyone else misread the title and think they would receive free goods in exchange for web design? :)
-Mike - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Pretty bunk links. Anything free such as templates usually end up looking the same, or so tabled up the average user won't be able to edit much.
- jaems, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Not everything was bad, but "free" only gets you so far. For example, stock.xchng is good for stock photos of print quality, but this photographic quality between that and Getty/Veer is still very wide.
Anyways, if you guys/girls want a huge list of really fascinating design resources, check out http://www.bluevertigo.com.ar/. Everything is nicely organized, and you can find some interesting stuff, ranging from photoshop brushes to sounds. - gwalbridge, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6I'm 100% with you on that interpretation.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Please....please everyone use templates.........makes my creative side that much stronger.
- defectDS, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Creative Commons FTW!
- theadvinci, on 07/01/2008, -0/+1I thought I would get an iPhone for designing a website. Damn...
- Millan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Some of the sites I knew about, others not so much. Thanks for the Digg!
- akroche, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the Yotophoto link is cool. Type in a hex color, get 100s of photos that match it...most of them free. I typed in our main web color (bright green) and got 1000+ images that matched. http://yotophoto.com/images/-/1?color=40b001
- john247, on 04/10/2008, -0/+0great free graphics at http://www.freegraphicscentre.com ideal for web images

- nickobec, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0only two things new to me:
http://yotophoto.com which looks like a reallly useful tool with search image by colour and the free icon links http://www.maxpower.ca/free-icons/2006/03/05/
http://www.bluevertigo.com.ar/ is far better resource for free stuff - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0http://www.design-sites.net
- MichelangeloPM, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1If there's exchange then it's not free. You're just being paid by your service
- jasnmb, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1whoops...meant to reply to MikeKnoop below
- jasnmb, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I thought the same thing. I was hoping to trade an awesome CSS-Zen-Garden-like design for a house in Saskatewan.
- gd007, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1there doesn't seem to be much info in that piece. i thought digg users are way more knowledgeable in this matters.
- JustAGamer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1this was on del.icio.us yesterday
