But regardless of how good or interesting a style of graphic design is, if it's overused it'll lose its freshness and seem cliched, boring and trend-following. That last one is unfortunate, because it *is* condemning something because it's become associated with fashion sheep... but that's the way it is.
For my money, the spray-stencil look is starting to suffer from this. It's unfortunate, because I thought it looked great for a while. I still like it, but it's getting overused; I want something fresh.
The design of the site linked to is great, but the fonts themselves are a bit post-grunge cliched... - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Very nice fonts. There are a few there that I didn't already have. *thumbs up*
