- DeskFlyer, on 10/10/2007, -3/+88I think they all look perfectly fine.

Anyone got a mirror? - CPOliver, on 10/10/2007, -1/+35Does anyone RTFA? The whole article is about (usually) forbidden colour combinations that DO look good together.
- Bricks, on 10/10/2007, -1/+21Scrolling that page was like watching an MIA video
- imelstevo, on 10/10/2007, -2/+22i can wear whatever i want bitch
- CaptainWeasel, on 10/10/2007, -3/+20then you hit her too hard, beware of a lawsuit
- Alegoo92, on 10/10/2007, -2/+18Things all look like crap to me-- since Red/Green shades all look brown to me :(
But then again, it makes forests look like paintings!
/also (partially) colorblind - mgrest, on 10/10/2007, -3/+18I thought Brown was the new Blair?
- ThreeDee912, on 10/10/2007, -1/+16Is it just me, or does that red and green bar near the top of the story make your eyes strain?
- Tprnyc, on 10/10/2007, -4/+19Black goes with everything... you can never go wrong with back and *
- masamunecyrus, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16Here's an example of a fantastic combination of red and green. :-)

- alwaysmc2, on 10/10/2007, -0/+11I think that's the point. The color combination technically fail the rules that some elite designers have made, but in reality they look good, and those designers don't know everything after all.
- orxor, on 10/10/2007, -2/+12So forests (to you) look the same as paintings look to you. But to non-colorblind people paintings could look much different. So what forests look like to you might not be at all what paintings look like to me.
- soulpiercer7, on 10/10/2007, -6/+14I dunno, it looks great on my girlfriend!
- abhiroop, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9PLease repeat that...slower...and with less words...all I got was forests, colourblind, and forests again.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Red Green doesn't have good fashion sense?

- khellendros1984, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5What, the "bodily function" palette? It's beautiful!
- Onibus, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Let's all hope that some of these color combinations don't see the light of HTML.
- feebie, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6red and green are complimentary colours!
they look great next to each other. - capiCrimm, on 10/10/2007, -2/+7pft. So like 2006, alpha is the new brown.
- Rileyper, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Greatest Man Show Ever
- joegibes, on 10/10/2007, -5/+8Is it just me or do most of those palettes look good? I can see how the combinations COULD be bad, but together like that they look nice.
- joot2112, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Dugg for "Dapper Hotdog". But the green tie with blue pinstriped shirt looks awful.
- nymphetamine, on 10/10/2007, -4/+7Being color blind must suck for you.
- ThreeDee912, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Depends on where you are from. Some spell it color, other colour. Whatever. Doesn't really matter.

Server Down - goat2, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3the worlds perfect evil villain
better than the worlds most overrated, sephiroth - arcele, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3What makes this spam? Someone submitted the article, and apparently a lot of people find it interesting, hence it's on the front page. Maybe you'd like to elaborate?
- Elranzer, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Haven't you heard? Real is brown.
http://www.vgcats.com/comics/?strip_id=224 - macoafi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3There is a very good reason that you should never use red and green together in print or online. Red/green colourblindness is the most common form, and given that colourblindness is *very* common among men, unless your site is aimed solely at women, it is a bad idea to use text that will show as grey on a background that will also show as the same shade of grey...the text becomes invisible!
- soulpiercer7, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3"Is it just me, or does that red and green bar near the top of the story make your eyes strain?"
That's brilliant dude. - HonoredMule, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1What a perfect summary of modern graphics. :-)
- Sabin, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2I fully expected this article to be about the fall lineup at H&M.
- buuch, on 10/10/2007, -3/+4hahaha kefka kills all who dislike his colors
- amidtheblue, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2So basically, colors of holidays? I for one cannot stand the color combinations of Christmas and Halloween.
- feebie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Though it may be the case in certain situations, this is not always the case, and shouldn't be a rule.
Many master painters have used this colour combinations to create amazing works of art. - inactive, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I could have told you if the page opened.
- demodawid, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1So sad I actually got that. I guess I'm a digg nerd.
- PureForm, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1There you are! I've missed you! :-X
- charlies3rdeye, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1this is the crappiest excuse for solid news ive seen on digg in a while...
- jkgm, on 10/10/2007, -8/+9How the crap does this colourlovers spam keep making the front page? Seriously... how is this news?
- NoNamesLeft, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I actually like them! Anyway these are supposed to be GOOD color combinations not bad ones, RTFA. Personally, I work with a client who always asks for the most obscene color combinations imaginable, I have to approach every project like it's a huge challenge: lime green and purple, purple and blood red etc... Usually it just involves purple.
- palmerized, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I'm a designer. Have been for over 10 years. These are fine... it's all on how they're used in the layout.
- hiPpymIck, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2is there any art out there - made by someone who has studied color.. who is also colourblind
i mean they dont just see black and white - so theres still lots of possibilities - Lagger, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2This article is about colors that WORK together although are stareotyped as Forbidden. "Here are some palettes and applications of the forbidden colors that really work." Sometimes you have to read the little words and not just the heading.
- vdog, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Indeed. I could barely ready that. You'd think people who love colour could come up a nice, high contrast, colour for the text.
- TheDreadDiggerD, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2We're talking about a guy that wanted to make a monument to non-existence. He just kills all.
Though I always like his insane flamboyance. - kellly, on 10/10/2007, -2/+3I believe the site is saying that these palettes go good together, even though normally the colours won't. People keep saying stuff like "I don't see whats wrong with these" But thats the whole point isn't it?
