- saisumimen3, on 10/12/2007, -6/+75I heard from a reliable source that the Internet is some kind of series of tubes.
- boomerxl, on 10/12/2007, -6/+67Oh Geez! I don't know why musoka. Could it be because Digg isn't (just) a technology news site anymore, or could it be that design has always been a subsection on the site?
Moron. - Matt-lars, on 10/12/2007, -7/+61How is this emo? New logos don't make want to grow my hair out and dye it black.
- jonezy, on 10/12/2007, -10/+60it's funny because it's true!
- ikickass, on 10/12/2007, -3/+46scroll up and look at the top left corner of the site.
- hello2usir, on 10/12/2007, -7/+47All this 'Web 2.0' noise has been overdue for some good mockery. I hope this continues.
- estvir, on 10/12/2007, -5/+45Use the reply button, it was put there for a purpose. I'd normally ignore it, but you've done it more than once, in the same story.
- chriskzoo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+44Your guide to a "Web 2.0" logo: Type your company name in the proper font in Photoshop. Add gradient from top to bottom with preferred colors. Add reflection if desired.
- BadassCheese, on 10/12/2007, -6/+43Some of those are really good.
- martoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+36Not loading for me. I guess I'll have to wait for the web 3.0 versions
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+33Dugg Mirror

- spectre_25gt, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27What, did you just read that above and regurgitate it hoping to get dugg up?
- CatalystGhost, on 10/12/2007, -3/+26lol @ "I can't hit the reply button."
- jonezy, on 10/12/2007, -12/+33you also need to use trebuchet and include the beta stamp when possible.
- CDHarrisUSF, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18You don't see it?
- echo1, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16my favorite part was the Burger King logo unchanged
- sparql, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17There is clearly a swoosh in the Nike logo. Wake up dude
- jgreene777, on 10/12/2007, -2/+17kinda like web 1.0 was all "in a ball." everyone was slapping their logo on a nice 3d ball and callling it web ready...
- outbreak, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18http://www.flickr.com/photos/outbreak/sets/72157594210950832/
a collection of my contributions in case anyone wants to see them. - MikeEnIke, on 10/12/2007, -0/+13Yes, yes it does.
- outbreak, on 10/12/2007, -5/+17i knocked out about 10 of those in under 10 minutes haha.
- chad78, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13It absolutely is not a dump truck. It's nothing like a dump truck. But, if the dump truck was shiny - then it would be like the internet that my staff sent me last week. But not the other way around.
- Drakazz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12Web 2.0 graphic design:
1) Create a shape
2) Colour it with few gradients
3) Duplicate it
4) Take off the bottom bit
5) Make the top bit transparent at 50% with white background
Anything else I'm missing?
Oh, make it flat.
And the site won't load. - outbreak, on 10/12/2007, -4/+16there is a swoosh in the nike logo. its in the leaf! LOOK!
- hxcxor, on 10/12/2007, -2/+14Wow, this concept really isn't that difficult to grasp.
The link is to a forum. It is a forum full of rather talented designers. These designers often mock the current "Web 2.0" trend.
In the aforementioned thread, these designers thought it would be comical to mock up satirical versions of well known logos. The posts in the Yay thread are not serious, and were never meant to be perceived that way. - Zippo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13FedEx's logo wasn't just clever... it won several awards for that little hidden arrow... and rightfully so.
- requiem18th, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12> THE INTERNET IS SITTING ON A GIANT SHINY TABLE
But wasn't ditching table designs part of the whole web 2.0, the internets (yes there are more than one) are on a shiny cascady stylishy sheet... thing. - kenvibe, on 10/12/2007, -1/+12I posted a good chunk of them on my web server. I'll watch my server just crash. Good stuff...
http://enthree.com/files/random/web2logos/ - bornhj, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Huh....
- sldSquirrel, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16Yeah, I like how many of these say beta ;)
- Dmatias, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10its the format where websites don't prepare for the digg/ slashdot effect.
- nathanmock, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Mirrored pics:
http://www.aberrant.us/mirror/redesign - user305, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12What about praying web 2.0 style? That's also been done
http://www.pray20.com - CatalystGhost, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9I've seen more negative diggs than 40. Wow, you even fail at being hated.
- outbreak, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10its a joke. they're not supposed to look good. they were all made in under 5 minutes.
- SilentBobSC, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Every time you use the term "Web 2.0" god kills a kitten...
- ThirdPrize, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9They are gonna look sooo 2006 in a couple of years time. Like a bad tattoo.
- filipo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+13here's the one I did:
http://www.parazz.com/photos/62396916495_8417.jpg
hope I don't kill parazz - sparql, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11One more person who doesn't get it...
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+11USE THE REPLY BUTTON!
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8sure it does!
- spudge, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Actually the internets travel in a series of clear tubes that sit atop a giant glass table. Its not like it's a giant dump truck.
- hxcxor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9how creative, don't even view the aforementioned logos. at least 1/3 of them are totally different logos (with gradients and shiny glass table)
- Badaudio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9are gradients back now?
- ezod, on 10/12/2007, -7/+14the snitch gets 100+ diggs for reading bash.org.
