- Dustgunner, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5It's GOOD to know that these tutorials are FREE!
In further news, this is *****. - demonotaku, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6I would have to agree with you there sir.
- inspecality, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4These are "signature" quality effects. Buried.
- lo0ol, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4PhotoshopCafe used to be one of the old-school leaders in the Photoshop sector, but that was years ago. These tutorials are pretty good evidence of it- they just *look* outdated (hint: that's because they are- they're at least half a decade old). And yes, thanks for the link, inbred.
- Amusing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2You can play around with Photoshop and come up with better stuff, buried.

ROFL. - strabes, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6good-tutorials.com?
- matriculated, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The rope one is actually pretty good - with some work it would look at lot better as right now it's too "perfect".
- designcode, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Good tutorials, specially I loved the high tech interface one very much, You can also find some good tutorials on http://www.tutorialsgarden.com/tutorials/ and http://www.tutorialsgarden.com/articles/
Peace - JoeHeavyFlow, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Thanks for the list of generic effects to bury.
- theblogverse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2diggaffected
- Whoboy, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4buried as spam the site has paid a company 1$ per digg until it reaches front page and this is one of them!!!!
- mpphan, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2You have to be a total noob at Photoshop to learn anything from this stuff. Buried.
- WoollyMittens, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I hoped humanity had left lens-flares behind in the 90's. I'll have (over-lit) nightmares for a week.
- agentbob, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i 'not might' care
- flap, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1"Starburst with lens flare tutorial"
That was the first thing I saw. I can't believe this. - V3X3D, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1buried for FREE. As mentioned before photoshopcafe used to be top but with the latest internetcraze its all about FREE stuff.
- johnsee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11000 Diggs... something very fishy is going on here...
- demodawid, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The second one is priceless!
- liminaldust, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I think this was intended to be categorized under humor
- Llanowar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Because all those 15 year old kiddies digg this...
I bet in 2 weeks time(if you digg this you can't learn it within a few minutes) they will tell their mommies
"look mommy what I made... it has a LENS FLARE!!!" - willcoll, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11200 diggs in 12 hours...wtf? And most of the comments here show "buried"
The site is crap. - favicon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How many of these tutorials reach the front page?
- moiremusic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0You get what you pay for, I suppose.
- GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Perfect for your 1.5MP point-and-shoot photos of crowds (bonus points if you use the flash against a reflective surface)!
- simpleid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1This was one of the first photoshop tutorial websites I ever used when I was young, it's cool to see someone post this place to digg. This is one of the best places for people starting with photoshop. The best tutorials in my opinion though are on eyeball-design.com, the site is a little odd to browse but if you find the tutorials look in to the -interface- tutorials. In my opinion those are the best because they don't just teach you random eye candy, they teach you -how- to use the -tools- in creative ways to build shapes necessary for constructing fundamental interface components, (rounded corners, inset curves, complex cuts, etc...).
I think tutorials that teach you how to actually use the tools are more important than just fancy -*****-, as if you -understand- the tools, you can -figure out- how to make -any- effect yourself.
This is of course just my opinion. It's hard to find people who actually -understand- how to use photoshop, eyeball-design teaches you photoshop, not superficial useless crap. - samadam, on 10/12/2007, -5/+5I have to say, giving out free tutorials isn't that helpful, according to the logic that everyone here paid for their copy of ps and therefore doesn't mind paying for their artistic materials.
you guys did all pay for your copies, right?
right? - aselmani, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Fantastic sites really.
Thanks for sharing them. - tdotn, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0www.pslover.com has a few too :)

- MaxwellTD, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2wow... most should already know how to do these, they are ass easy.
unless you are no your first day of photoshop. - Phogi, on 10/12/2007, -5/+1The sunset is really cool, not too sure about the anime beads, lol I'll find a use eventually. The spotlight is pretty sweet too, not too happy with the lighting features right now in Photoshop.
- SultanTravi, on 10/12/2007, -6/+1FREE
(if you already paid $600 for Photoshop) - benmode, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2great list of effects. thanks man... I was looking for this.
