- no-op, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is pretty pathetic- these are all ripped from Hojyo Takashi's website. it's linked further up.
He's one of the best origami artists out there right now, and his work is amazingly impressive; stealing his photos and putting them on your crap-ass link farm site is not.
good going, guys. - pharkas, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Why not link to the man's original site and give him some credit? These damnfunny links are getting damn annoying.
http://www11.ocn.ne.jp/~origami/phototop.htm - dizzledaking, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1A few issues:
1) Not tech related *at all*.
2) Damnfunnypictures these are NOT. They are magnificent works of art.
3) Too much free time? Something tells me this is his living, either via books or custom jobs for advertising firms or whatnot.
Incredible works of art, no digg. - tudacee, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I dug it...tech or no, cause it was amazing.

- BugMeNot2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0God damn.
- link470, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Oh man, that's freakin awsome, dugg to the max.
- Digital.Totem, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've been into Origami for 11 years and while I'm good, and can do some very complicated pieces this man makes me look like an idiot child making paper hats
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Could you make a living off making Origami? Wouldnt it crumble in the package??? Cool pics though
- Morph_Ball, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Very impressive. I wish I was half that good...
- clumsyninja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Ectreme pop-ups evade FF. No digg.

- nomechingues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0sorry i didn't put up a link to the original site, i didn't know where it was my mistake, about the popups, i didn't see anything so i have 2 words for those who did FIRE FOX
- clumsyninja, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0nomechingues, I do use FF. That's why I said the pop-ups where evading my blocker. I like this kinda stuff and I would have dugg it but oh well. Not like it really counts since it's on the homepage, anyway. :P
- NeilM, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0That's nuts.
- nomechingues, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0ok i posted damn funny pics cuz that is where i found the link, its not my site, and i wish digg had an edit post so you could fix your ***** ups, hey i am just trying to share something i found interesting
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0How about just putting a pop up warning from now on for those of us who have to use IE because we are at work. digg+.
- olorin45, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I've folded some of his stuff before, and I must say he is absolutely amazing. Diagrams for his human figures simply don't do them justice, he is somehow able to put so much more into them than I can ever figure out. His crease patterens are even crazier, I have the one for the God of Thunder, and right now I'm too intimidated to even mess with it. I did fold a really nice pegasus by him the other day though.
- felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This is what happens when you have no clue about the difference between the words "to" and "too."
- spade, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Are there any instructions to these? I'd love to try one of them out, get to the point where I'm in tears, then rip the paper to shreds in frustration. But until that point I'd really enjoy it. :)
- CLIFFosakaJAPAN, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Simply Incredible. I wished you would've linked this to the original site; because the one you had us go to hand too many Pop-ups...
- olorin45, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0As far as I know, the majority of these models are undiagrammed, a couple have been published. The Buddha is in the origami tanteidan convention book 6, the Maitreya is in book 3 I believe, both of which are out of print. Crease patterns for the Frog and the God of Thunder are in Convention books 9 and 10, which are still available from http://www.origami.gr.jp/ last I checked. The violinist, and I think the jellyfish have also been published as crease patterns in the tanteidan magazines as well.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0digg.com needs either a partner site where people can post their non-tech crap like this, or stop claiming they are a tech news site.
This would have *never* reached the frontpage on Slashdot. It just proves that even the crappiest editor is still better than the mob. - danio, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0thats what happens when you are asian
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0too many pop unders boo
http://www.geek2us.net/bogeydope
-bogey - sahaskatta, on 10/12/2007, -3/+0not tech related at all, (unless a machine were to make those)
