- Bamborzled, on 10/11/2007, -1/+7Your friend's cousin got everything he/she wanted to know about lists and CSS?
/you-need-to-keep-track-of-your-tabs - inactive, on 10/11/2007, -2/+7i dont know, I think this one is more comprehensive : http://w3schools.com/css/default.asp
- TheKingInYellow, on 10/11/2007, -4/+9why is the "all steps combined" the last option of the tutorials? why not just remove all pages of the steps and just use the one combined steps pages? this is very irritating and wasteful.
good site to bookmark, though. - rspeed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1You can align the background image vertically with "middle" and it'll work with any text size.
- relic2279, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3Good tutorial. I like it when people actually post good stories/articles/information on Digg. It's a breath of fresh air. Normally have to go to reddit.com for this type of content. Good job.
- ggidster, on 10/11/2007, -5/+6Very very good quality resource. Many thanks!
- scratched, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2I think they could have covered more. Like lists that expand when you hover over elements.
Sure, it isn't supported in all browsers yet, but that's a big thing that I'm sure a lot of people would like to know about. It's pretty cool to use. - rspeed, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Damnit, people, you don't need to use hacks! Use conditional comments!
http://www.quirksmode.org/css/condcom.html - tkamen, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2A list apart has an old but great article on the subject. It's a little old, but I still keep going back to it time and time again. http://alistapart.com/articles/taminglists/
- Drewsky, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Great source and website. Actually my Web Design class use this site for a exercise.
- anarchistuk, on 08/11/2009, -0/+1Clean and concise layout, very easy to read.
- SwissCamel, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3When this appeared in the RSS feed, I thought it was going to be 'Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About Lisa Simpson'
So ***** me and ***** you. - kaniz, on 10/11/2007, -1/+2Was just about to post a link to that. Its an old article, but its the one I fall back to whenever I need to play with lists and get stumped, and have linked it to many friends in the past.

Great tutorial. Well written, clean and easy to follow. Now, if we could only have IE support CSS better.
How about the same type of tutorial for doing IE CSS hacks... ? - bubbadoo989, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Good source, but this has been dugg many times before, just like it's cousin, Floatorial (or something like that). Has it been updated or enhanced?
I'm still digging it, because it's so excellent. - dbz253, on 10/11/2007, -1/+1Everything I Ever Wanted to Know About Lists and CSS is contained in the title of this story.
- pengu, on 10/11/2007, -4/+3since when is an article covering the most basic of CSS a really great article? there are only about 3.2 MILLION others like it.
- j4k3h4x, on 10/11/2007, -6/+5Rofl, This article happened to my friends cousin. Quite funny if you ask me, but not really good news for a small town.
- Cerium, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2"Everything you never wanted to know about..."
- jackgivens, on 10/11/2007, -3/+1I did one of the toutorials and it was done perfectly. Super.
- darkcrimson, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0* html
There is your IE 6 answer to everything...If you can't get it to work in IE7 then you probably didn't code it correctly.
The day when hacks are unnecessary is slowly coming...W3Schools.com browser usage statistics (http://www.w3schools.com/browsers/browsers_stats.asp) show that IE6's usage is down ~21% from a year ago and FF is slowly but surely pissing on Microsoft's parade - tbr0, on 10/11/2007, -2/+0Hasn't this been around for at least a few years?
- gnatinator, on 10/11/2007, -4/+2Thorough article, useful for the uninitiated ;)
- masprema, on 10/11/2007, -6/+3Thank you for this link. I had forgotten it in my stick of bookmarks. Very fine, very clear.
