Graffiti's meant to stay, anyway. The best way to *stop* tagging is to paint over it every time it happens. If the tags don't stay up, people stop tagging. If people wanted their graffiti to come off, they'd do it in chalk. - MrBabyMan, on 10/12/2007, -2/+8This would be great for temporary tagging. Feel free to express yourself with grafitti, and not piss off property owners.
- juneaude, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3You know, LED throwies!
http://graffitiresearchlab.com/ - phreakintheroom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I love how every article Kevin Rose posts gets frontpaged within an hour, while most other stories stay in the queue for much, much longer.
And I do think it's a cool bit of technology...but what the heck do you use it for?
Jhonen - mechanisma22, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3if you got enough LED throwies and use a plotter like this that would be temprary and it would light up!
- compwizz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Direct Link to the video of it in action.

- OrangeTide, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Just don't do it on someone's padded wall, or they might think it is messages from ghosts.
- tw0bit, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1argh i know
- 022A, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Wording like...
"The Temporary Printing Machine, one of the latest works by Random International, highlights the ephemeral quality of digital data. "
Makes me want to punch someone.
The tag cloud like links on that site piss me off further and the off-center "artsy crop" portrait photos of interview subjects are the icing on the cake. - diggdong, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1This is very cool. I hope it takes steam. I'm tired of trying to read ***** writting driving down the freeway.
- markormesher, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1the only problem is that plotters are expensive as hell and don't always work properly... I imagine maintaining this would be hard.
But really clever idea! And political too! - Junkey, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I would totally do this if I had my own wall.
- robohoe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Looks like a giant printer
- RadiatedAnt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1LMAO check out the in-security camera I got a laugh at that one. The ironing is delicious.

And it's "temporary", by the way. - blacklotus135, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0@MrBabyMan,
if you want washable graffiti for cheap, just use chalk - jkr06, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0This message will self-destruct in 1 minute....
