- imacommi, on 03/20/2008, -0/+42I think digg needs a better filter for friend content. anyone with me?
- Audacitor, on 03/20/2008, -2/+27thread hijack: Once again, Digg's entire team of developers have been served by a single determined programmer working in his spare time.
- koltregaskes, on 03/20/2008, -1/+24Good idea, definitely remove articles you've already dugg. Does it need to go to the dugg page if you digg anything on your page? No problem with the article title text for me.
- smash, on 03/20/2008, -1/+24No... it suggests new stories based on your previous digging habits. :)
- jemka, on 03/20/2008, -2/+22thread hijack: I just wanted to say thread hijack.
- smash, on 03/20/2008, -1/+19I'm actually pretty proud of how quickly I turned this project around, it's definitely solid.
- someguy92, on 03/20/2008, -0/+16This is amazing, but could be so much better if I could get an rss feed.
- sbader, on 03/20/2008, -1/+15Another suggestion could you make it leave off things that you have already dugg by the user you're searching by?
- sbader, on 03/20/2008, -2/+14Nice api, I could see this becoming as popular has the friend's activity page, but do the article titles need to be so big?
- sbader, on 03/20/2008, -5/+17thread hijack: Is digg's search function currently broken? it's only pulling stories that were submitted before yesterday's maintenance?
- TenebrousX, on 03/21/2008, -1/+11Did digg's search ever work?
- joeycerone, on 03/20/2008, -0/+9very cool. a quick search gave me like 5-6 stories I hadn't seen yet that were of interest to me. I'll be using this daily. thanks.
- ferrariman60, on 03/20/2008, -0/+8It's pretty cool, but here's some feedback: It's a little indiscriminate. I would set it up so that it only tracks keywords that were dugg at least X times (maybe make it a percentage of total diggs? I'm not too sure here). I think it's got damn near everything I've ever dugg, which is fine, but it's not as focused as it could be. Other than that, it's a great idea, and I'm behind this 100%. Keep it up!
- Ricochetbiscuit, on 03/20/2008, -1/+9interesting... I like it!
- Z0om, on 03/20/2008, -0/+7awesome smash.. good job
- inactive, on 03/20/2008, -0/+6ahh ok, that makes more sense. Ok I give it a Digg
- Sqlawl, on 03/20/2008, -0/+5Some filters would be nice, but other than that it's pretty solid.
- TimmyOToole, on 03/20/2008, -1/+6In Soviet Russia, stories in MySQL tables find you!
- seandfeeney, on 03/20/2008, -0/+5Good Job! This might actually get people to digg good stories that are not on the popular page.
- NathanCH, on 03/20/2008, -0/+4Sounds pretty neat. Though, I come to digg to see a variety of stories that I wouldn't be looking for.
- serff, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3Add a bury link. That should help get things that don't match off of there too. cool stuff. thanks!
- TnTBass, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3How far back in your history does it search?
I'm not sure if I just digg a lot of Apple or Microsoft stories and that is the reason I've got a lot of results for those, or if it's just pulling some of the recent articles I've dugg.
Cool app though. I've been playing with a few different usernames. - dasdef, on 03/21/2008, -2/+5who who who who who?
- inactive, on 03/21/2008, -0/+3My first view I thought the same xpose!
- bstew22, on 03/21/2008, -6/+9Thread hijack: seriously... i'm still wondering 'who let the dogs out'.
- boing11, on 03/20/2008, -0/+3All I got was a bunch of stories with 1 digg, that I really didn't care about. Neat idea, but didn't work for me.
- LANjackal, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2Sounds interesting, but needs an RSS feature. Otherwise it's useless as far as I'm concerned.
- aguyingilbert, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2This is really cool. Nice job
- alanocu, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2fantastic! great job smash!
- surKaz, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2It great.. I tested it out and the stories it suggests do interest me (some more than others)..
Bookmarked.. I'll be using it from now on... - neowolfwitch, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2This is fantastic! Dugg!
- m1ck, on 03/20/2008, -1/+3nice i like it
- SSUK, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2Should be integrated into Digg. It's awesome.
- jasonsalas, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2great name...better copyright it fast! (unless someone already has)
- smash, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2done.
- frieddonuts, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2Humnu?
- jasonsalas, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2good job! very impressive.
- fLUx1337, on 03/21/2008, -0/+2DiggSuggest will never be able to keep up with the amount of traffic Digg gets, even on the systems Digg itself runs on. That is why "the entire Digg team [has not] been replaced by a kid working in his spare time". This kid (why am I calling him a kid?) has a bright future in head of him (or already is pursuing it), but he didn't quite create something which could be clean copied into Diggs code and used. It will be buggy, no matter how good of a programmer he is.
- rtatay, on 03/20/2008, -0/+2you should display the domain names
- fuxjoey, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1what both digging history and submitting history.
- jasonsalas, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1VERY nice work. good job..totally rad.
- thidranki, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1i appreciate the work on the project. My only suggestion would be to allow the user to only pull stories from a specific category.
- serrebi, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1This is awsom. Props to you.
- inactive, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1yes that is a good answer I like it ;D, you are right it is sometimes so bad that good articles won't become popular because of something socially went wrong.
;D

Carthago delenda est! - sdix00, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1Hey Smash, I like it! Make sure you have a feedback mechanism for suggestions for improvement/enhancement once your Digg falls off the front pages. Maybe a comment module on the diggsuggest page.
- fdisc0, on 03/20/2008, -0/+1yeah it's a good idea. unfortunately, it did not work well for me what so ever. i won't be using it. but don't want to discourage from future attempts.
- inactive, on 03/21/2008, -0/+1I came along here and see that my dugg Mashable - DiggSuggest. Is this Necessary? http://digg.com/tech_news/Mashable_DiggSuggest_Is_ ... looks similiar to this monster Digg above and thought Damn went there something wrong with the algorythm or the database, but then I see that everything is ok not only different headline also different content. Puh.
Wanna invite all people who are interested in this api to discuss and inform me and all other digger round here.about their usage and experience with that tool
Thanx to smash for this tool I think it could be very helpful in a lot things.
;D
