- maiku00, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5that off black and aqua blue seems to be a staple of web 2.0
- cianuro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think it looks great guys. Nice job.
- miek, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I second that, but ..
Letting the webtwenny robot pass isn't that big of a deal if you do it nicely and add some character to it. This is just plain and styleless if you ask me. Could have been done way better. - xunk, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2i strongly agree with delarge. I'm totally fed up with those copy / paste website designs, as with web2.0 crappy logos.
I understand this design fits nowadays technical trends (css and so on), but what room is left for _company personality_, branding and originality ?
This face lift sux. I can't wait to see the end of web 2 style and see some variety. - smallbeer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2do some of the commenters who've labeled the design web2.0 want to explain why?
- Syntaxis, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Thank God someone noticed. Those comments at the top made me cringe. This is not design, it's copy/paste from milions of other websites. Cliche colors, cliche rounded corners, cliche everything.
- neave, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6mmmm web 2.0
- blackrainbown, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4I have to agree with you.

- OhJay, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1The forum looks like it has a decent amount of traffic. It's a pity about the braindead forced lowercase subjects and forum names. That completely kills the site for me unfortunately.
Why someone decided that Web 2.0 has to use unreadable and hostile typography is beyond me. - inactive, on 09/16/2008, -0/+0Its great for increasing links i think..
- inactive, on 09/16/2008, -0/+0its important for search engine optimization ...www.webnetcreatives.net
- OhJay, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1It ruins the readablity and makes the entire thing look like a posh AOL forum.
Unless this particular forum is special, its prime function should be to show text in a clear and concise way. Making everything lowercase ruins the usability when your eyes scan across the text page. Why a site dedicated to design would do this is beyond me (unless they were going for some kind of ironic statement).
I have better things to spend my time on than visit sites that deliberately make it more difficult for me to read them. - jaythree9, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1design trends come and go, and the "web 2.0 look" is superfluous.
what this designer has really achieved is great content organization and readability, which is the first and foremost goal of any designer. - keepclear, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1What a stupid thing to say, lowercase letters ruin it for you ? In what way ?
- SeRiOuS89, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1This design is reflective of its content, badly constructed boring and uninspiring.
Looks like a rehashed Macromedia site template, very un-original. - ozwebfx, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3Nice work.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3its been months since i actually seen a vbulletin forum redesigned that doesnt look as a default theme.
